I agree with Sarah. I ordered my product in April 2009 and by August 2009, every time I flip it over, it shuts off. Before it started doing that, I loved it, however, now it is very frustrating that it keeps turning off.

I loved this flat iron... until it stopped working after about a month! It worked wonderfully curling and straightening, but now it turns off every time you flip it over.

i just got this straightner/bad curler roughly a month ago. It works well for the most part for straightning but dont let the IT CAN CURL HAIR TOO trick you. all that will do is give a crappy crimp job. if your looking for a good hair straightner and/or curler just try and dig out the money for a simple 1inch flat iron chi. The person who cuts my hair curled it with a 6 year old chi i looked buetiful!!!!!

I have had this flat iron for about 1-2 years. I used it everyday. It worked great flattening my hair and getting all the curl out without drying out or breaking my hair. I especially liked the temp control on it. I think it should have lasted longer. The plate started seperating from the handle causing it to shortout. Over all, it worked GREAT. Just wish it would have lasted longer.
