I bought this about 3 months ago, and my sister liked it so much, she bought one, too. It has made a really tremendous difference in both of our hair. Our hair not only looks better when we are finished, but it is more resistant to the humidity the rest of the day than it is with other hair dryers. It's made in Italy and I think it will last a lot longer because of the european quality, so don't be scared of the high price. This dryer is definetly worth the money.
Excellent hair dryer

To me, this is an expensive hair dryer, but well worth every penny. I have naturally wavy hair and when I want it blown straight, this does a great job. I don't seem to have frizz and my dry time has definitely shortened. I would highly recommend it. The only drawback is that it took a while for me to adjust where my fingers lay on the dryer as I'm using it. I tended to want to put them on the switches, so once in a while it would turn cold or go to low. I've gotten used to moving my grip though.

Love the product. Much quieter than store bought dryer. Drys my hair faster and without the frizz like my last hair dryer. Pricey but worth it-for a product that I use almost daily.
Excellent but not silent

I bought this hair dryer after reading many reviews....almost all the reviews....LOL I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised at the fact that it DOES make my hair shinier and healthier looking. I have thick curly hair and I also do highlights so you can imagine how much damage I do to my hair when I consistently blowdry it straight. The negative things about this dryer, although not really a big deal for me, is that it's not in fact silent like it's name suggests. The other negative is that it didn't cut my blow drying time by much...maybe 5 or 10 minutes tops. On the other hand if you want to have salon-looking hair, this is the dryer for you!
Nice and Simple

I have been purchasing Solano from here for years and the thing just kept breaking on me. It was a powerful dryer, but it was heavy, awkward and unreliable. I recently bought the Sedu ultrasilent hair dryer and I like it a lot for the simple fact that it's lightweight, quiet, and delivers fast drying time, while leaving my hair shiny and silky smooth. A good pick if you are looking for something simple and reliable.

I bought this hair dryer last week because of all the great reviews. I was so excited when it arrived. I immediately went to shampoo my hair just so I could use the hair dryer. Boy was I disappointed. This hair did not make my hair straight and silky. Nor was it shining. My 19 year old Conair dryer worked better than this one. I immediately packed it back in the box and sent it back. I have sinced bought a $40 hair dryer from Sally's and I love it. Do not recommend this dryer.

i was hesitant to spend this much on a dryer, but glad i did. light weight and powerful. i thought the cold shot button was going to be a bummer b/c it is kind of inverted, but the heat adjustment switches are more convenient and better for hot/cold use.
Silent, it's not

This is a great hairdryer, but ultra-silent--not even close. Don't buy it if you want a hairdryer that's quieter than usual. Yes, the control buttons are on the handle, but that's where they are on most professional-type dryers now. You get used to it and I found I adapted my grip quite easily. What I liked most about it was that it's fairly light-weight compared to other good dryers I've had. It does cut my drying time down a little--no miracles, but saving 10 minutes is better than nothing. And I feel it drys faster with lower heat than I'm used to, which is better for your hair. The only reason I didn't say it was excellent is that I think it's over-priced.
Best Hair Drier On The Face of The Earth!

My hair is EXTREMELY CURLY, FRIZZY, AND THICK!!! And if that isn't enough, I used to have a VERY CRAPPY revlon blow drier which damaged my hair. Well, here's the story:
I visited the salon last week and the lady who was doing my hair told me that my hair was VERY DAMAGED and asked what kind of blow drier I was using. She told me I should stop blow drying my hair with that blow drier INSTANTLY and buy a high-quality one as soon as possible if I wanted to continue blow drying my hair. She also recommended I use a deep conditioner.
The next day my sister, who was away from home at college, came to visit. She has the Sedu Ultrapower Hairdryer and I tested it out when she came. It worked VERY NICELY and reduced my frizz ALOT. I was amazed at how it worked so I decided to throw away my archenemy-hair-damager, (the REVLON drier) get one like it. I wasn't 100% satisfied with hers though because it was bit too noisy.
So I decided on this one instead. With my first paycheck (I work at JCPenney & I love it :D), I ordered this iron from Folica. I was really anxious to get it because I couldn't wait to see how it would work.
I got my blow drier a couple days later. As soon as I saw the package on my doorstep, I ran upstairs to my bathroom so wash my frizzy hair. I used some shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, and towel-dried it as best as I could. I then applied some FHI Hot Sauce (which works BEAUTIFULLY by the way), took a deep breath, and plugged in my blow drier.
A quiet whooshing sound blew out of the nozzle as I stood in front of the mirror, moving it around my head. I was shocked because the blow-drying time was REDUCED BY 30 MINUTES! WOW! My hair was also MUCH LESS FRIZZY and tamer! Oh my goodness! I was amazed! When my sister (who has the Sedu Ultrapower) used it, she was so jealous!
Basically, in our opinions, this blow drier basically works alot better than the Sedu Ultrapower (which is ranked number one) on our heads. And our hair is pretty hardcore on the frizz side, mind you. I am SO GLAD I bought this blow dryer! This blow dryer is a dream COME TRUE!

Well, to be honest, I haven't tried too many. I originally bought the T3 evolution hair dryer, and like it much better -- it leaves my hair thick and full of body while the T3 left my hair thin and flat. I have very fine hair, and it tends to curl and frizz. This hair dryer has made such a difference with my hair, and people have been asking about what I have done. It is great! It takes out the frizz, gives more body, doesn't damage the hair, and cuts the drying time in 1/2 or less. It did break after 6 months, but that is because I dropped it on the floor. Folica replaced it for free. My advise: get this hair dryer!

I have very thick, course hair that takes forever to dry.
After using this dryer, it has cut my drying time down by at least 15 minutes. I like the light weight of it too. The only down side is the COOL button is very hard to hold down. My two daughters and their friends have tried it and are ordering their own! Great product!

I really love this dryer. My 12 year old daughter has really long hair and hates to blow dry her hair because it just takes too long. She was very happy to find that her hair would dry in half the time and the dryer is also quiet. When I use it I like the fact that it doesn't blow my hair everywhere and dries wih less frizz. When I first used it I thought it was not powerful enough because I was used to dryers that blow you out of the bathroom. I also bought the Volume boost recommended for the dryer by Sedu. I like the volume booster because it leaves my hair soft and full. I think that this is the best dryer I have ever used or owned. I travel a lot and I always take my dyer with me even though hotels have dyers. Now I can't be without my Sedu dryer.

I am extremely disappointed with this blow dryer! The first one I received broke in less than 30 days. I am currently on my 2nd one and I feel like it is going to break too. The heat is extremely hot and when used on high heat the exterior of the blow dryer gets so hot you can't even touch it. The heating/fan element doesn't seem to work effectively. The Sedu sticker is already falling off. I was expecting a salon quality hair dryer that can withstand a lot because I have curly hair it takes me roughly 8 minutes to blow dry it straight. I'll be surprised if this one doesn't break too. The only thing good about this dryer is it's light and quieter than most.

This is an unbelievably quiet, light dryer. The only thing that I would improve is the cool shot button. Rather than protruding, it is indented and hard to push, compared to other dryers i have had.

This is an awesome hairdryer, but the controls are in a very awkward position. If you hold the dryer by the nozzle like alot of professionals seem to do, the you will be Ok. Otherwise you will end up turning it on and off accidentally. Since I was so impressed by the way my hair looked after I used it, I didn't bother to return it. But I would check out other dryers if I had to do it again.

This dryer is definitely quieter & lighter than most that i've had but i dont feel that it dries my hair any quicker the others. I would definitely reccomend it because it has improved the quality of my hair. It is now much healthier & shinier. With this hair dryer & the sedu flat iron my curly hair comes out very smooth & sleek with out being frizzy & it doesnt get damaged or fried on the ends.

I really thought I would be returning this hair dryer even after reading all of the wonderful reviews. After the first few days I was hooked. I constantly get compliments on my hair now. No more dry stiff hair. It's silky smooth and gorgeous, I call it my movie star hair. I can actually get the look that I get when I go to the salon.
I read in other reviews that it takes others less time to dry their hair using the Sedu than a conventional dryer. I haven't found this to be the case. It's about the same or longer. Still worth it though.

I bought this hair dryer hoping it would be as silent as possible, since my husband complains my hairdryers wake him up too early (boo hoo). Well, either this dryer is quiter than my last one, or the price tag got him to shut up. Regardless, I'm so glad I got this dryer! I've never had a hair dryer that works so well. It really is like having salon hair every day. I didn't believe it when I read the other reviews...but it's true! If you're thinking about buying this hair dryer, do it. It's so worth it!
