A great hair dryer

I am very impressed with this hair dryer. It was expensive, but totally worth it. I have had it for about a month and am hooked. It does not make you very hot like some dryers do and it makes my hair much softer and less frizzy. I was just on vacation with my family and tried to use my mom's dryer. I had to stop half way through my hair and go get mine from my luggage because her's was making me sweat. I would definitely recommend this hair dyer.

I have really thick, coarse, wavy hair, and a lot of it too. It used to take me 1 hr. and 25 minutes to blow dry my hair using the store-bought brand (Vidal Sassoon). With the Sedu, it takes me 1 hr. and 10 minutes.
To add to that, the weight of the blow dryer is a bit heavy. The cold shot button on mine doesn't work. Instead, I have to set the heat setting at "0" (zero) just so that I can cool my hair down, which doesn't really do much.
Instead of making my hair softer, I notice that it's actually much thicker and doesn't have the 'bounce'/salon quality style I'm looking for.
Maybe it will grow onto me a bit more. I've had it for 2 weeks, and am still convincing myself to like it.

What more can I say?? The heat feels the same but I can NEVER feel my scalp burning, hair drying MUCH faster - and I ca feel it be not as damaged as before.
Even the frizz is waaayyy less on similarly humid days - and all I really do is blow dry pulling my hair through my fingers. Only use a brush at the very end - and still looks awesome enough!!!

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but the reviews here helped me choose this hair dryer, so I thought I would reciprocate. I have dry, curly, tends-to-frizz hair and I was at my wit's end. My hair stylist suggested I invest in a good quality hair dryer. I've it for about a month now and the difference is amazing. My hair still gets frizzy in humidity and always will, but it dries so much smoother and shinier than before. I highly recommend this hair dryer.

I debated, contemplated and questioned this dryer and finally broke down and bought it. I am so happy I did. It has made drying my hair a lot easier and a huge differencein the way my hair turns out. Love it!

I have very thick wavy hair that I usually blow dry in layers and that straighten with a flat iron usually taking me about 45 minutes if I JUST get out of the shower. I purchased this dryer looking forward to the fact that I may gain 15 minutes of my life back instead of wasting it blow drying my hair.
The dryer is light, quiet, but doesn't reduce my drying time at all. It looks nice and shiny I will say that, but do I think it was worth the $140 + shipping? Not so much.
Pricey But PERFORMS!

Before purchasing, I read and re-read the reviews- especially given the cost. Placed my order and held my breath. After using it for a few weeks now, I can honestly say this dryer is money well spent. I have thick hair and alot of it, which used to take me 30-45 mins to dry, but now am able to do it in 15-20. And the finish is really fabulous. It creates the smooth finish without the added step or drying effect of the flat iron.
The weight of the unit is more than I would prefer, but is understandable with the powerful motor and heating element it houses. The placement of the switches is a little tricky, but not problematic.
Overall, a wonderful dryer. Highly recommend!

This dryer is awesome. It dried my hair in record time. I usually don't dry my hair myself, but I tried it and now love it. This is the best dryer in the market for sure.

I can't quite understand this product's popularity. I purchased it with high hopes seeing the reviews and its ranking by Folica.com but was extremely disappointed in its performance. My hair is quite thick and long, though the curls are not very tight or kinky, and usually takes about an hour or more to blow-drow with a conventional hair dryer. The Sedu neither cut down on drying time nor got my hair any straighter than usual. In short, it's not worth what it costs, even at the highly reduced price.

I have always had to straighten my hair in the summer before using this dryer ,but now I am saving that 600 dollar expense . No frizz and much more shine!

I've purchased many blow driers that in no time need replacing. This so far has been the best. It does not over heat, dries fast, and is extremely quiet. I would recommend this to anyone.

My six year old has thick hair and it typically takes 15 minutes to dry with our previous dryer. With this Sedu dryer it dries in half the time!! This is a fantastic product. I especially like the lint remover. It is definitely worth the $$$.

This hairdryer is amazing. I use it to straighten my mother's hair and it does a fantastic job. Other hairdryers used to make little tiny hairs near the crown of your hair stand up. This hairdryer prevents the little frizzies and makes her extremely smooth and shiny. It will take a little while to notice a difference, but eventually you will see that it makes a difference. The only drawback I have is a minor one. The arrangement of the buttons is slightly awkward and occasionally will cause your fingers to press down and turn it off. This, however, can be avoided through caution. I highly recommend this dryer.

It took about a week for me to notice results with my hairdryer but once I did, wow. My hair is so much more shiney. My drugstore hairdryer made my hair almost crunchy. I am very happy with the hairdryer and it was worth the money.

Great hairdryer. My hair was damaged from previous dryers. The air pressure on this dryer makes the hair dry straighter and smoother, it does not over dry the hair. It dried quicker without the extreme heat. I have very curly hair this drier works for me. It has a nice slim handle, easy to hold.

I have coarse, thick, naturally curly hair. I have never been to a salon that didn't comment on my hairs thickness and drying time they spent. I too am tired of holding a dryer for ever. I gave this Sedu dryer a try and it is quick. My drying time has been cut tremendously. And my hair feels great.

It is true what everyone is saying about this dryer. The air pressure on this dryer makes the hair dry straighter and smoother than any conventional hair dryer I've used in the past. It is designed to dry quicker without the extreme heat. I suppose if you have a curly/wavy hair and want to keep it that way, than, this dryer is not for you. Also, someone complained about the switch position on the handle, but it is not a problem. The handle is slimmer than others I've used. I really do think that this dryer is worth the money. I'm not sure how long it will last though, since it's only been a month now.
