The hair dryer is lighter than my cheaper dryer and does come with a long extention cord. The Sedu does not frizz my hair and does cut down my drying time so I'm not sweating buckets when I'm finished drying my hair. I have noticed my hair doesn't get frizzy during the day as it used too.

I have used my hair dryer twice now. I really could see and feel a difference. I have been doing my hair for a long time and this dryer is by far the best I've used. I usually stand in the bathroom for at least 20 to 30 minutes just drying my hair. With the Sedu, I was done in about 10 to 15 minutes. It's great. I would definitely purchase again or as a gift.

This dryer was fast and my hair looked great when I was done using it. Other dryers made my hair look dry and frizzy. Highly recommend this product.

I have always bought cheap hair dryers from Wal-Mart and finally decided to buy a good hair dryer after noticing how great my hair looks after my stylist got through blow drying my hair. I used the same products and brush and the only difference was the blow dryer.
It is really nice not to be sweating buckets by the time I'm finished blow drying my hair. I have shoulder length and thick hair. It dries it fast. It took me a little bit to learn learn how the buttons worked on the unit because the instructions are lacking in the booklet that comes with the dryer. To me the hair dryer isn't heavy but the 9' cord is heavy. Overall I'm glad I bought the dryer and love how my hair looks when I'm finished.

I was very curious to see the difference between a ceramic hairdryer and a normal (cheap) one and the only thing this dryer does that mine didn't is it dries my hair very fast but I still need to use a straightener to get rid of the "frizz" and I have fine straight hair. I like it very much but it did not make my hair shiny. For someone with thick or curly hair this may be a much better dryer but for someone with fine straight hair not sure if it worth the money.

I am so thankful for this product! My hair stylist gave me quite an education about how to work with both the dryer and the flat iron. He hadn't heard of the ceramic dryer, but confirmed that my hair was quite healthy and not dry at all, after two uses of each of the Sedus. He also told me how much he has paid for each of his professional flat irons, so I know the price is fair. Normally blow drying and ironing makes my hair feel dry and stiff, after two days...this is no longer the case for me!! My hair is long, thick and somewhat coarse; so you don't need me to tell you how ecstatic I am that my hair care regimen takes me 1 hour total now, after I've washed it!! I truly thank God for the technology...once again, I could kiss the Italians (I also love their leather goods & jewelry!).

Does not dry hair any faster than other driers. Its nice because its small and light weight. Good, but not the best. Not quite bad enough to return, but if I have time I might consider looking at exchange options. Or, perhaps I'll just keep it.

I liked this drier, but only the extensive use will show if the hair is healthier from using this one over the my old drier.
I rated it 4 because after all the wonderful reviews and for this price, I expected a miracle tool. I am keeping it though and hope that it will prove to be worth the money.

Since using this dryer my hair is less frizzer and dries a lot faster. Friends and co-workers have noticed a difference too. I've never spent this much on a hair dryer, so if your debating, I'd do it.

I like this hair dryer and do notice a definite difference as my hair is shinier and less frizzy - but my gosh, reading the reviews prior to purchasing, I set myself up for a big let down as the drying time was minimally reduced and I didn't experience quite the same excitment as some reviewers. Not a bad product - but nothing to get all giddy about either.
Invest in your hair!

This is an excellent hair dryer. I was not so sure about paying so much for a hair dryer, but I am so glad that I took the plunge! It makes my hair so much shinier and softer. I still have to straighten (using my Sedu straightner), but it takes less time. I love it! I will never go back to a cheap hair dryer. You wear your hair everyday, invest in it!

This was a gift for my daughter, who is crazy about it. She says it has cut the time it takes to get ready in half, and it's by far the best hair dryer she has ever owned. Five stars!

I had an older professional hairdryer which worked great, but gave it to my cousin. I decided to buy this hairdryer to replace my old one and I don't regret the purchase. (Granted, I've been using the Sedu hairdryer for less than a month, so I can't speak to how it will hold up in the long run.) Summers in the Northeast are incredibly hot and muggy, but I have definitely noticed a reduction in frizziness in my hair. Also, it does leave my hair soft and dries rather quickly - I have long hair of medium thickness and I can dry and style it in less than twenty minutes. I would definitely recommend this if you're willing to spend the money.
I absolutely love my Sedu hair dryer.

First I must mention that I love shopping @ Folica. Wonderful service indeed! Next, wow..... my Sedu hair dryer!!! I love it love it and love it. My curly hair is very happy, and I no longer agonize over styling my hair like I used to. Thank you Folica for introducing me to this wonderful product.

When I first got this blow dryer I could tell a difference but was disappointed because I was expecting a miracle. However, now owning the dryer for months I DEFINITELY notice how much healthier my hair is because of this dryer. Even my stylist made a comment on how much straighter my hair drys. I am very very happy I got this!

I am very impressed with this hair dryer. It was expensive, but totally worth it. I have had it for about a month and am hooked. It does not make you very hot like some dryers do and it makes my hair much softer and less frizzy. I was just on vacation with my family and tried to use my mom's dryer. I had to stop half way through my hair and go get mine from my luggage because her's was making me sweat. I would definitely recommend this hair dyer.

I have really thick, coarse, wavy hair, and a lot of it too. It used to take me 1 hr. and 25 minutes to blow dry my hair using the store-bought brand (Vidal Sassoon). With the Sedu, it takes me 1 hr. and 10 minutes.
To add to that, the weight of the blow dryer is a bit heavy. The cold shot button on mine doesn't work. Instead, I have to set the heat setting at "0" (zero) just so that I can cool my hair down, which doesn't really do much.
Instead of making my hair softer, I notice that it's actually much thicker and doesn't have the 'bounce'/salon quality style I'm looking for.
Maybe it will grow onto me a bit more. I've had it for 2 weeks, and am still convincing myself to like it.

What more can I say?? The heat feels the same but I can NEVER feel my scalp burning, hair drying MUCH faster - and I ca feel it be not as damaged as before.
Even the frizz is waaayyy less on similarly humid days - and all I really do is blow dry pulling my hair through my fingers. Only use a brush at the very end - and still looks awesome enough!!!

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but the reviews here helped me choose this hair dryer, so I thought I would reciprocate. I have dry, curly, tends-to-frizz hair and I was at my wit's end. My hair stylist suggested I invest in a good quality hair dryer. I've it for about a month now and the difference is amazing. My hair still gets frizzy in humidity and always will, but it dries so much smoother and shinier than before. I highly recommend this hair dryer.
