Perfect for travel

I bought this to keep in my travel bag so I never forget my flat iron wherever I go. I straighten my bangs everyday so this is essential to my routine. It's a great little iron! It warms up lightning fast and gets very hot. It comes with a mesh glove to protect your hand while using it. I laughed when i saw the glove and didn't think i needed it but turns out you really do need it! Since it's so small the whole unit gets hot, including the handle and outside. The cute zebra stripe bag it comes with could be a bit larger as i find it difficult to fit the iron, glove and plug in it.
loved it but it stopped working after 3 trys!

great little travel straightener! i use it to straighten my bangs and get rid of fly aways easily. fits in my purse without taking up much space so i can take it wherever i go, and it heats up quickly! It doesnt fry my hair, and leaves it shiny.
very effective

I like this mini flat iron. It is easy to use. Heats up quickly. I have very fine, thin hair & so it is some times hard to style because my hair slips out of larger flat irons. I think maybe if one had very thick hair...it would not be as effective. But for my type of hair it is great.

Great little iron to carry around in your purse, keep in your desk at work or to have at the gym. It gets suffiently hot and the zebra striped carrying case it came with makes it easy to just throw it in a bag.

This is a very portable straightener. It works well in just doing a touch up job. Works well on bangs.
Big performance within mini package

This Sedu mini flat iron performs as well as a full size one. Also it smooths and curls hair along the front better than a full size flat iron. Works wonders on my hair, I really have enjoyed the product.
Good iron for shorter hair

This iron has come in handy for my shorter hair clients hair I have to do, it is also great for the edges and short hair at the nape of the neck, I just wish it had a temp. control but other than that it is pretty easy to work with and it gets nice and hot.
great traveling tool

Great for straightening edges.
Compact, great for short hair, but not hot enough

I have short coarse wavy hair and use a flat iron to straighten it on a regular basis. This flat iron is great at allowing me to straighten from the roots, especially the short hair on the nape of the neck, which my Solia 1 1/4 inch iron does not easily do. However, I find that the iron does not get as hot as the Solia - I'm used to styling at the hottest temp around 400 deg. It still works, but it will take an extra pass or two to get the same results as my Solia. Other than that, the performance is great, it heats up quickly, and is very portable. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs on a European vacation in August, which is the main reason I purchased it.

Perfect for travel and/or short hair styles! I own three Sedus and I LOVE them ALL. This one I received as a gfft with purchase when I bought my 1 1/2" Sedu Iron. Although it's not perfect for me for everyday use, (I have longer hair and it's a bit too small), it's fantastic for shorter hair styles, and fabulous for travel!
I love the Sedu brand so much that I just bought my third one this week. A 1" size iron in PINK!
Mini Sedu

I received the mini in a package deal with the larger Sedu...I don't really use the mini too much, because I have longer thick hair...tried it for a touch up the other day. I think it would benefit a person with a shorter cut. The larger Sedu...I LOVE! Best investment possible.
Got my nappy hair straight!

So I have super thick, nappy (LOL), curly hair and this flat iron gets it bone straight! The key is to part it in very small sections (like 1/8" thick) and go through it little by little. I adore it, but I dont think its really any different from other flat irons that get just as hot (410 degrees). I just like this one better because the plate is wide (1 1/2") as compared with others. But its definitely a good buy!
Cute, but smelly and ineffective.

I got this as my free item - thought it was a very cute and compact item when I opened the box. But the mini made such a horrible smell when I used it to start straightening my bangs. And i did wipe it off before I tried to use it.

Great size for travel. I did not find this product to heat up to the needed temperature.
Good, but not worth $50

I got this free with my 1" Sedu iron, but I don't think it's worth $50. It works well for bangs, but my hair is so curly that my bangs start to curl an hour later with no product in it.
The only thing I didn't like about this iron is that it always flops over on my counter; it won't stay upright. That's kind of annoying, especially if it burns something you have on your counter. Although, when that did happen the iron was easy to clean off.
The iron is only about the width of a finger, which makes it great for straightening bangs. I also have used it to straighten small sections at the back of my head that are curly but close to my scalp. This is great for small touch-ups, since it heats up quickly. If I were you, I wouldn't buy this for $50. Wait until the price is lowered, or see if you can get it for free like I did with another Sedu product. Mine also came with a cute insulated zebra bag for it, so the iron wouldn't melt the bag.
i have really long hair

this thing is useless to me. but i guess it might be okay if you have really really short hair (i mean, this thing is even smaller than i thought it would be). Thankfully it was a freebie with a sedu flat-iron that i purchased. I gave it to my sister whose hair was shorter than shoulder length, and it was too small for her too. i guess it might be good for bangs?

Does not get hot enough as they say it does I paid so much money for it and do not even use it. Very poor quality. I was expecting to get really hot and it doesn't expecting it to curl and it doesn't. Would not recomend it.
