although i do not have short hair....i am able to take this mini with me & re-do any ends i may have that are going astray. i like it...and i really like the regular size sedu!

WILL NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT! WORKS GREAT FOR ON THE GO TOUCH UPS . THE 1 INCH AND MINI R GREAT !! I HAVE VERY CURLY HAIR NOTHING HAS EVER WORKED SOO GOOD IN MY HAIR . IT'S A MUST HAVE .ME AND MY DAUGHTER BOTH HAVE ONE .

My sister is a hairdresser and even she was amazed at how well this tiny tool straightens! Perfect for travel and touch ups, or if your hair is just wavy and short/mid length this could be the only flat iron you need. I also have a full sized Sedu flat iron and they really are the best - I will never buy any other brand.

For its size it is great but it's no comparison to a full size. Great to throw in your purse for a quick fix on a raining day. I would definitely recommend this straightner.

Love it! It gets really hot and is very affective. Great for short hair,little girls hair, or touching up edges.

This is a great little iron - I often wind up using this one instead of my full-sized iron. it works incredibly well for its size. I took it on vacation for a week, and it was great. I also love it for touch ups and it gets really close to the scalp, so I use it to flatten out the cowlicks at my bangs and back of the head. I highly recommend!

I got the shortie with the purchase of my larger sedu revolution. It works great to straighten out the really short pieces of hair I have near my hair line. I love this in addition to my larger falt iron since my hair is long but, if youhave short hair this would be a great all over flat iron. The only downside I found was that the cord doesn't swivle so every few minutes you have to untangle it. Also there is not temperature control just on and off so if you have fine hair or your hair can't handle the constant 450 degree temp then this item isn't for you.

I have had my mini SEDU for about 8 months and I love, love, love it!! I am African American and when the edges of my hair "get a little resistant" I use my mini until I'm ready to for my next relaxer. This little thing gets pretty H.O.T.! but not so hot that it will burn your hair. Thanks SEDU!

The Sedu Shortie was a free gift with the 1.5" Sedu flat iron I purchased. It heats up quickly and works well on short pieces of hair and for straightening close to the hairline. I use it for touchups and when I travel. It comes with a mesh glove so you won't burn your hand, but be careful not to get too close to the scalp or it can burn it.
SO SMALL YET SO POWERFUL!

I have a short bob hairstyle and have been using the Sedu
Mini Shortie Styler Iron for several months now and it is
amazing how something this small (length of a Sharpie) can
be so helpful. My hair is quite wavy and thick so it is
quite a job to straighten it but I have the 1" Sedu Flat Iron and once I have my hair straight I can touch up the ends and finish straightening the bangs as well. This little guy is awesome!

Because I have long thick hair, this mini straightener really wasn't practical for my hair. I suppose it would be okay for my roots, but I generally don't want to deal with it. I got it free....otherwise, I'd be pretty upset.

I purchased the Sedu Revolution 1 inch flat iron and got the shortie styler for free. I am African-American and my hair is shoulder length and I find myself using the shortie styler over the larger flat iron it's so good! My regular sized Sedu is good (despite some loose springs and screws) but the shortie styler is the bomb. I am currently 4a and transitioning to natural so using the shortie styler takes a little longer but I get a precision press with this iron. I use Sabino moisture block and this iron on freshly washed hair and the shine and body is unbelievable. My hair does not revert for at least 3-4 days. I'm a Sedu believer for life!

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the sedu mini flat iron works. I got it free when I purchased my sedu hair dryer. I keep it in my desk at work and it's perfect for small touch ups. Would definitely recommend it!

I am a 16 year old girl, and my hair type is just a little bit wavy/straight-messy. I bought a Sedu set that included 2 of these mini flat irons (along with a regular sized one, a paddle brush, 3 clips to help style, a comb, and a heat proof mat) in January. The mini flat iron was smaller than I expected, but that wasn't a problem. I had recently gotten a shorter than expected haircut to donate to Locks of Love, about chin length, and hated how my hair looked, it was messy and embarrassing, and I was desperate for a straightener. I had been researching and wanting a Sedu for sooo long, and finally this was my excuse for my parents to let me get one. Now I can use the mini one until my hair grows out, and then I can use the regular sized one! I used my friend's much cheaper Remington wet 2 straight one once, a month ago, and surprisingly it did really well, and I thought my own mini Sedu should've been better than it, based on the reviews and price. But it's still great and does amazing when used on smaller sections of hair. I love that I can use it without worrying if I'm damaging my hair, too, because I know it's not. And I love love love that it can curl too, and is so much better than the curling irons I have at home and takes much less time. Also, you can control whatever style you want, and straighten it if you mess up. It also heats up pretty fast! I also expect that the regular sized one will work even better, because it's not so tiny. My friends have used my regular sized one a few times and I think they like it.

I have a haircut that is short in the back, longer in the front. The back was giving me problems because I couldn't get as close, but now with the mini straightener, i can do my whole head easily!

I now have short hair, but when I first received the mini styler, my hair was shoulder length. I used the mini for my bangs and to touch up my hair when I just wanted to smooth it out a bit.Now that my hair is short, it's even more useful. It works great on my coarse, curly hair. It is a quick and easy way to smooth hair and great for packing in a small bag for travel.

i got this product as a free gift after purchasing my other sedu straightener. i'm a guy and i used to have long hair at the time. now, i have shorter hair and this straightener works wonderful! it doesnt pull my hair at all, and it leaves it extremely soft. it's also perfect for baby hairs on longer hair.
