great little dryer

I am pleased with the speed this dryer took to dry my hair. I didn't have to put it on the hottest setting, and it didn't frizz my fine color treated hair like my drugstore hairdryer did. It was easy to handle in my hand. I am anxious to use it again!

I was looking for a super compact, super lightweight, non-burning dryer. This is great but I feel its overpriced - should be under 100 bucks. Keeping it because I dont feel like paying shipping. I like the superspeed of the air. I like that it dried my hair in superfast time and it did not burn me or get hot - just fast warm air. My hair dries naturally frizzy with any hair dryer so I cant tell if this "reduced" it. But it did dry my hair superfast on the medium low setting and gave tons of volume. I would suggest for those not trying to straighten their hair but fir those just trying to dry their hair superfast without burning their scalp or hand or damaging their hair.

After reading the reviews and being eco-conscious I decided to try this pricier dryer. I have pretty curly, shoulder-length hair. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to dry my hair straight and another 20-30 to flatiron it. I'm experienced in straightening my hair and am pretty picky when it comes to hairstyling tools. I liked that this dryer was sooo light and left my hair soft and shiny but it was not powerful enough and didn't straighten my hair enough to use the flatiron less. I had to go back to my BabylissPro Carrera 2 until I got my new dryer! I don't think this dryer is worth it if you have hard to straighten hair.

My hair is bleach damaged. Well, half of it anyway. The rest is just regular color damaged. The hair dryer made the untouched by bleach hairs: silky, shiny, almost straight and soft. I really loved it. I won't blame the dryer for not doing much for the touched by bleach hairs. It did smooth out some of it though. My hair is naturally wavy and thick so it took 30-35 minutes to dry.
It did not cut the time to dry my hair by anything. It is not super quiet, but decently noisy ;p.
I'd probably go for the other Sedu hair dryer that looks just like this, but black and stronger watts. I was going to but was 10-15.00 dollars short.

I bought this hair dryer after doing a lot of research and reading reviews like this one. I liked the idea of a "green" hairdryer and seemed to me like you didn't lose performance for a more energy efficient dryer. Well...although I felt as though it was a really great dryer it didn't get as hot as I would have liked. I also have a lot of hair but it is very fine so I investigated further and found out that, for those with fine hair, ionic hairdryers are really great at making your hair shiny but not necessarily at adding volume. So I decided to return it and bought the Sedu Revolution Tourmaline Ionic TGR 4000i Hair Dryer because you can turn the ions on and off. This way I get the best of both worlds...volume and smooth. Plus it blows out a little stronger and a little hotter. I love it.

After reading all the positive reviews about high end hair dryers ( i.e., reduced drying time, making hair soft, quietness, etc.), I decided to take the plunge and buy one. So, I settled on the Sedu Revolution Tourmaline Ionic Green. It is, without a doubt, the best hair dryer I have ever owned (but I can only compare it to the drugstore dryers). My hair is slightly longer than shoulder length, thin with a crimpy wave in the back, and color treated. I would say this dryer cut down drying time by maybe 25 percent. But, I didn’t need to straighten it, so there is a time saver there. It is somewhat quieter, but I wouldn’t call it “ultra quiet” as is stated on the box. Also, the dryer air is not as hot as usual, which is good because you get your hair dry without the damage of using high heat. I have read reviews in which the consumer complained that the dryer doesn’t get hot enough, but I think that is the whole point of this technology. I am somewhat pleased that I get great results from a 1600 watt dryer (as opposed to the usually recommended 1800 watt dryers).

This dryer rocks! It's super light weight, and quite small. It dries my hair FAST.

I am surprised something so small works so well. My hair
looks very shiny and healthy. It now takes me about 9-11 minutes for my shoulder length, medium/thick textured, “massive” amount of hair to dry from sopping wet to completely dry. I am able to wear it shiny and straight. Can't wait to show my hairdresser how well I can do my own blowouts, she'll be proud.
Get it today, you won't regret it!

Excellent little dryer, so light and quiet. My hair is definitely more shiny and smooth and dry time is less.I am
very pleased with it. I Would not normally spend that much on a hairdryer but the Sedu flat iron worked so well I thought I would try the dryer too, now I dont even need the flat iron most days. Saves me lots of time. I am glad i spent the extra $$ on it and will buy another for my daughter.

First of all, I have to admit, I'm probably not the best person when it comes to recyling, protecting the environment, going "green" etc. I really wanted a dryer that is light weight and easy to use (and small enough to pack on vacations or trips). But I didn't want a travel dryer, which normally turn out to be disappointing. So when I found this dryer, I was shocked to find a full size professional dryer with a weight of 0.79lb. (I mean I guess being energy efficient is a plus). UNBELIEVABLE, this dryer has out-done all the other dryers that I used. TRUST ME, you need to get this dryer!!

I am so happy to see at least some companies in the personal care industry is coming out with an energy efficient dryer, it is definitely the first one that I have seen on the market. Being an environmentalist, I have to try it. I am very happy with my purchase thus far. Beyond all the perks of being energy efficient and conserving resource and supporting the "green" movement, there is dollar saving as well. (I own a hair salon, and I actually saw some decrease in expense on my utility bills - will have to watch it for a few more months though, not sure if it is because the meters were not read or something this month. But when you own a business, every little bit counts). The dryer itself in terms of performance and quality is actually one of the best that I have seen and all my stylists are using it now. (they love that it is light weight). All in all, a great dryer!!

I needed another hair dryer and decided to give this "green" hairdryer a go. I almost didn't get it because 1600 watts just didn't seem strong enough - and is so small.
However, this dryer blasts it out at 1600 watts. So far, I like it. There are not as many heat/speed settings as advertised. There's high/low; hot/cool and a cool setting. The cord is super long and it's very lightweight. It is fast, like many of the newer dryers. I have shoulder length, medium textured/wavy hair - and a lot of it. This will be great for home and really great for travel.
