It is quiet, light weight, powerful and quick, not to mention that it leaves my hair silky and smooth!

I don't think I have ever paid more than $20 for a hair dryer until now. I have to say - this dryer is worth every penny! I have bleached blonde hair from a natural dark brown...and by dark brown I mean almost black. I couldn't remember the last time my hair did not feel like straw. However, the first time I used this hair dryer, I noticed a difference. My hair has been getting softer and softer. The dry time has been cut in half also. My hair dries nice and straight. I don't even use my flat iron most days! My only complaint is the location of the cool button. I, like others, had to get use to holding the dryer differently to avoid pressing the button. But that is a small inconvenience given how great this dryer is. I will never buy a $20 hair dryer again!

Worth every penny. Does a great job in less than half the time. My hair seems to have more shine and I see no damage at all to my hair. Much more gentle on my hair than the average drugstore dryer. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but small enough dryer that it doesn't seem to matter!

I recently bought Sedu TRG 4000i - its actually too good - I'm not a professional hair person - it blows my hair all over the place- as long as I keep it on the low setting it works for me just fine - but I wouldn't buy it again - and I still need to use a flat iron after drying -

I have straight, long, very fine hair. Thsi is dryer is very powerful and cuts down on drying time significantly. I have not noticed a reduction in frizz or flyways as other have though. It's also kind of heavy. Overall a very nice dryer but not everything the desciption claims it is.

I love this blow dryer. It is powerful and fast and dries my hair to be very smooth and shiny. I like the different settings. I also like the size, as it is not too big or awkward to hold. It is just right, especially for a small person like me!

I have super thick-super fine-medium length hair that would take 30 minutes to dry and straighten with my Babylss dryer with results that were no where near to salon quality. I've owned more than one Solano dryer and loved them but lost access to purchasing them and got stuck with the Babylss. Thankfully I found Folica.com. After reading the reviews, I decided on the Sedu and I couldn't be happier with my choice. 15 minutes and my hair looks amazing and the smoothness lasts! Well worth the money for those that hesitate spending $100+ on a dryer.

Definitely worth the money....I usually don't spend more than $35 on a hair dryer and I will never buy one of those styles again!! This hair dryer dries my hair so fast and leaves it beautifully shiny!! It is so light, between that and how quick it dries my hair my arms never get fatigued while straightening my wavy/ curly hair. I would definitely recommend this dryer!! So happy with my purchase!!

I have super thick hair and hate to blow dry it, but the Sedu gets so hot that my hair dries faster than normal.

I am a busy professional stylist, and I don't have time to deal with this product's primary design flaw; poorly placed on/off switch. In the normal course of drying hair, I'm frequently and inadvertantly turning the dryer off! The rocker switch is right on the handle of the dryer, and being a rocker switch, is way too sensitive to the slightest movement of my hand.

I was suprised to find the hair dryer was not a good as I had expected for spending the kind of money I paid. I felt it didn't get that hot and took longer to dry my hair and I'm also suprised that a diffuser didn't come with the dryer.
Overall it does the job.

Plenty of power. With the short nozzle, it's easier to maintain a safe distance while blowdrying. This also reduces arm fatigue.

I was a little disappointed that it did not dry my hair as fast as I had hoped. It's still the faster dryer I have ever had but it takes a long time to dry and I find it quite heavy. Overall, though, I am pleased. My hair is curly and can get frizzy and this dryer really helped control the friz.

I always thought my stylist could achieve a better blow dry just because she had a better angle, and somehow made magic with super-secret stylist technique. Nope. It's a good hair dryer. I bought this one because it had the option to turn the ionic part on and off. I had read some people didn't like the ionic action on other dryers, but I really like it, so it stays on. But, at least I have the option.
The dryer is very heavy duty, and a bit heavy, tho that is compared to the ten year old travel conair I had been using (pathetic, I know!). I also bought the diffuser, which I really like, and I read one review that said that it wasn't from the same company, but it is the same manufacturer, it just doesn't have "sedu" all over it, it probably works with other dryers they make too.
So, was it worth all the money? If you need daily hair dryer action, it is. If you're an occaisional user, I'd opt for one of the cheaper ones.

Overall I am very pleased with this dryer. It's well made and I like the fact that the cord doesn't get all curled up. It definitely dries your hair faster - I would say twice as fast than any other dryer I've used. The only negative is it's a little heavier than most.

This is a great hair dryer. Living in the South I have found that humidity equals friz and we have a lot of both. The Sedu 4000i allows me to dry my hair straight and it stays that way thoughout the day. Love it.

Dries my hair really quickly. I have thin curly hair and it doesn't make it too tangled. Still need to flat iron afterwards, but overall quite happy with it.

After spending countless dollars on cheap-o hair dryers from Target, I finally buckled down and got the Sedu after trying it out at my mother-in-law's house. I will NEVER go back to the cheap stuff! This HD is absolutely worth the extra money. It dries my hair fast, even in our hot house in the summer, and my hair is less frizzy and much softer than ever before. Highly recommended!

With my wavy/curly hair, the humidity where I live is a killer. This dryer cut my straightening time and resulted in silky straightness. (I can't say that the straightness lasted when the humidity got to my hair, but it definitely didn't get as frizzy as it used to.)
The cool blast button is great.
The ionic function is supposed to fight frizz but it doesn't seem to give me better results than not using it.
I'd recommend this dryer for its light weight, long cord, and high heat frizz fighting.
