I've never been able to straighten all my hair before and have it actually look REALLY good, now that I've got this baby: no problem!! I have super long, super curly fine hair for reference :)

I am quite happy with this hair straightener. It straightens my hair in 10 mins, the only thing i was disappointed with was that it didnt stay straight overnight which was what i was expecting with such an expensive straightener.

I already had the US edition of the Sedu flatiron and was going overseas and decided to splurge. I didn't want to run the risk of destroying my other one using current converters. Got the same great results. Shiny, straight hair in one swipe. Keep in mind I have straight hair to begin with and I use it simply to smooth and perfect. I don't know how it would work on curly or coarse hair.

Best flat iron ever! Works great and in much less time than others I have tried. My hair is so smooth. Highly recommend. I know it's pricier than most, but you get what you pay for. And it was delivered in a timely manner with no problems.

I like this straightener very much and please with the result. However, I think I should buy the 1" instead of 1.5" as I suppose it is much easier to control. Consider expensive for most of my friends here as I paid more than SGD$250 for it.

Excellent best straighteners I've ever used - I've already had mine for over a year without having any problems so I've now purchased them as a present for someone else. This is the second time I've ordered from Folica and the service is fantastic I would recommend them to anyone.

I did a lot of research before I chose to buy the Sedu (UK Edition). It does exactly what is says and I have been recommending it to all my family and friends.
My hair is thick and wavy with a little frizz but now it looks like I have just walked out of a hair salon! I had the GHD too but it left my hair static, where as the Sedu left it smooth and shiny. I am 100% satisfied with the product and will definitely shop with Folica again....

Very pleased with my purchase of the Sedu irons. I bought the UK version , which was very useful as no fiddling with adaptors. Lightweight and compact.
Free heat mat which is useful for travelling as well as keeping safe at home.
Straightening was effective on my thick and wavy asian hair and left hair shiny. Style kept for the day , helped by setting spray.
Slightly odd smell given off by irons, which I am getting used to, and doesn;t leave smell on the hair itself.
Best Money spent ever

I recently purchased this product and have been using it for about three weeks now. I read all the reviews and was cautious just because of a few bad reviews. Well dont listen to those people that give this product a bad rating. This is by far the best flat iron i have ever come across. I used to have a Helen of Troy which worked ok but nothing compared to this one. I didnt know my hair could look this good. I tried my friends CHI and was not at all impressed. The Sedu blows the CHI out of the water without a shadow of a doubt. I have very hard to straighten hair that gets dried out easily and this Iron made my hair look and feel like silk. It straightened even my small curls around my forehead. Buy this product you will NOT regret it.

I've got curly hair and always get annoyed with it after it dries. Its always stick out all over the place. After using this straightener I'm happy to say that its a great stuff even though the price is a bit pricy. My sister also agrees that this is a better product than her vidal sassoon which she use to own. Thumbs up for this product.

I had solid ceramic straightners before and they were awful, these are fantastic, give me hair i can wear down the day after i ahev washed it. I never used to be able to dot his as my hair was so frizzy!!. Anyway thses are graet but they still damage your hair so you do need a good protector spray!. They also manage to hide the appearance of split ends really well by smoothing them down. I have had so many compliments since buying them. Well worth getting them shipped over to the uk! BETTER THAN GHDS!!

I am very impressed with the quality and performance of the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron. I have used other models of Flat Ceramic Irons in the past and found the Sedu by far the best. You can adjust the heat settings for your type of hair. It heats up quickly and leaves my hair shiny, and smooth. My frizzies are gone!!!!!

I recently purchased one of these and took it on holiday to Fiji & New Zealand. My hair is normally coarse and dry and does not like moisture. This worked like a dream and in less time than it takes for my one here in the States I was back to looking great. It heats up quickly and certainly does what it says better than any other I have previously had. Love it.

Both of my daughters, with their part-African heritage, naturally have very curly hair. We recently purchased a Sedu over the internet after trying various other brands. Admittedly, this one cost more than the others we've used but we've found it to be worth every cent. It's just fantastic. Heats up rapidly. So easy to hold and manoeuvre. It just glides down the hair and straightens beautifully and effortlessly. It used to take me nearly an hour to completely straighten my daughter's hair but that time has now been halved. Also, the hair stays straight and sleek for the week. Occasionally if a touch up is needed, my daughter can whip over her hair in about five to ten minutes. We're so happy with this product.

I just purchased the Sedu flat iron, and I am very impressed. It leaves my hair soft and silky. It doesn't pull my hair or burn it. I am very satisfied. I was going to buy a CHI, but my sister and mother both own one and they are very disatisfied with the results. My mother regrets she bought the CHI Flat iron. She conplaint that it does not heat up and it burns her hair.
