im an african american 13 year old, and my hair is as thick as can be...this did nothing to my hair but make it even thicker it is the WORST product i've ever used...now i have to explain to my mom (which she will be PISSED off about) that i need to return this HORRIBLE product...DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT

I bought this with my sedu straightener just in case. I didn't want to burn out my hair or anything. It works quite well~ Keeps the hair moisturized, and has a pleasant scent.

This is by far the best i have used. It smells really nice and I use it with my Sedu Iron. It leave my hair shiny and it’s not sticky like some other products i have used. I would highly recommend if using hot irons or blow dryers.

I have no complaints about this product-it's great at protecting my hair from the intense abuse I put it through. It's a good price and value overall, however, there are some decent drug store brands worth a try. I've had great results with Tresemme for example, so I'm not sure if purchasing the Sedu heat protector again will be my first choice when it comes time to restock. One good thing about Sedu's heat protector is that the scent is very neutral, so it doesn't seem to clash with my shampoo, which is nice.
Overall, this product is not a complete waste of money, I just think that it is probable that you can find a cheaper product that can work just as well.

This product really works! Recently, we ran out and while the item was on back order my 2 teenage daughters, who straighten their hair daily with their Sedu flat iron, had to use another product. Their hair smelled burned and was noticeably drier within a few days. Luckily we received our shipment of Sedu heat protector, and immediately their hair was softer, and no longer smelled burned. I highly recommend this product.

I didn't think that there was anything special about this product. My hair is in good condition, I was looking for something to give it a little more protection blow drying and using flat iron. Using it with the blow dryer, I would say did nothing. I was not impressed

I gave this product a try at my neighbors house before straightening my hair and saw such a noticeable difference in the way the heat effected my hair that i asked to use it again when i went over her house the next day. The results were the same! I really want to buy this before i cut my hair to ensure heat protection with my sedu iron i got for christmas.... too bad its been out of stock for MONTHS =(

I think I have tried every heat protectant on the market and without question the Sedu Moisture Boost is the best one available. The inventor of this product should be given a BIG GOLD STAR!!!!

This product just did not work as a heat protectant. it actually left my hair feeling greasy and oily. What i find works as a heat protectant is aussie dual spray heat prtectant and leave in conditioner. You can use it multiple times in between washes and it doesnt leave residue in your hair. Use it on wet hair uless you have a wet hair flat iron

I agree with the others who rate this product excellent. I've used several heat protection products. Sedu Moisture Boost is the best so far. My hair is abused frequently with heat. This product actually does make it healthy looking and silky feeling and it last until the next time I wash it.I hope they never stop making it. I bought it with a Sedu Flat Iron which I didn't like at all (I;ve have since returned it for a CHI which is much better). If I hadn't bought the Sedu iron I never would have tried it.

I highly recommend this product. It lives up to its claim of providing moisture to hair that is subjected to heat styling. It is reasonably priced too.

This Moisturizing Boost is just 'OK', I've used better. The smell was ok- neither good nor bad. It worked great the first two days when I used in my hair before using my flat iron, but then left my hair feeling heavily weighed down. I didn't seem to do anything if I wasn't using it every day. I returned it after 28 days. I talked to my stylist and she said that over moisturized hair feels the same way as under moisturized hair- dry, dull, brittle, and weighed down. I have long, wavy, bi-racial hair that I only need to wash twice a week (and flat iron every day with either my Sedu or Solia). I do not have a problem with split ends. I use IntraKera Deep Penetrating Leave-In Conditioning and the Bumble and bumble line after the shower and have consistently had great results. I alternate between the Bb Prep (smells good), Bb billiantine (more of a cream, a small amount goes along way), and number 3 of the Bb treatment line (a little pricey but worth it). My recommendation would be for everyone to talk to their stylist about which product would be best for them. Having used Aveda, Paul Mitchell, etc. product lines, it can be pricey to figure things out on your own. Someone on here recommended FHI’s Heat Hot Sauce, so I’ll be giving that a try too (stay tuned for a review).

My hair is in good condition, no split end, never dyed. I thought it would make my hair softer, smoother, shinier..... I got this product for protection purpose from flat/curl iron. But my hair feels dry and rough when I apply it. I don't know why is that,just simply very disappointed!

I have been using this heat protectant for about a month now along with my flat iron.
It is just your average heat protectant spray, but it DOES leave my hair more moisturized than average heat protectants.
If you're looking for a really good heat protector, try FHI hot sauce!

I bought this product with Sedu flat iron. The iron is the best, thats NOT a joke and this product I use just a small spray at the ends of my hair when using the iron, which is after I wash it. I do not need to use it every day and this spray makes my hair as if it were naturally straight. Unheard of for me and my 52 years. I highly suggest using this product, at least for the ends of your hair in combination with Sedu flat iron. You will not believe the difference!
My hair is naturally curly and NOTHING has ever helped. I use to dread having to wash my hair, for the time it would take afterwards to make it look decent, but not anymore. 52 years of hair day dread is now over, thanks to Sedu and these 2 great products. Sedu Moisturizing and the Flat iron I ordered at the same time. Thanks again for the greatest products I have ever used.

I have wavy hair that frizzes in the humidity and also bulks up. This product gives me smooth, shiny hair when used with the Sedu flat iron and it lasts through the most humid weather. What a find! I love this product.
