I had this staighten for exactly one year then it just stopped working. It just died. All of a sudden, no heat, didn't even turn on. I don't even use it every day. Maybe twice a week. Interesting that it cacked one week after the warranty expired. Not impessed since it wasn't that cheap.

This straightener works very good. the only thing is that I can't grab the small hair that's around my face because the straightener is bulky. I guess for this type of job I would need a very thin straightener. I also found that you need to take time and separate your hair in sections to get the best results otherwise your hair will look sort of puffy instead of obtaining a natural straight look.

wow, lets just say the sedu hair streightner does the trick. my hair is wavy and just annoying to deal with but the sedu hair straightner turned my hair from being frizzy,wavy,and always notted into being shiney really straight and smooth within like 5 minutes. Believe me if your going to purchasse any straightner the sedu should be you first and only choise

This Sedu Ionic Ceramic pro Flat Iron is FANTABULOUS!!! After reading all the reviews, I had to have one and searched for a local salon who carried it. I was there in an hour and got home and immediately tried this product. WOW! The reviews are all correct ladies. It really works on my very course, thick and frizzy hair. I cut my hair straitening time to about 5 minutes and I have shoulder length hair. The only bad thing is I have to buy another one to use when I travel to Europe but at least they make one for Europe and UK. I won't leave home without it. Really OUTSTANDING product. It REALLY WORKS! Thank you Sedu!

ive had about four cheap flat irons before. this is the first one over $100 that ive owned. i did my research before buying this one but it seemed to have the best reviews. i must say that it cut about ten minutes off the time it used to take me. but you have to flat iron really well if you want it to last overnight. it keeps your hair shiny, but it damages it. i suggest buying a product to protect from the heat or laying off the flat iron every once in a while. im in love with this and if it ever breaks, ill be pretty pissed. its def. better than the ones at target. eww.

I am a very busy person. I do not routinely fuss with my appearance. I get up early quickly shower, put on minimal make up if any and quickly blow dry my wavy hair. I decided to purchase a ceramic flat iron for special occasions when I have more than 15 minutes to get ready. This Sedu flat iron I purchased is so easy to use. It heats up in an instant. It requires a minimal of one sweep per handful of hair to quickly straighten. It is so easy and effective I have been finding myself straightening my hair on not so special occasions. I would only say it is okay. I recently had the yuko system done on my hair and I prefer using my kresso iron instead of the sedu. If I had too I wouldnt buy it again.

I had previoously bought a chi and i hated it. It ripped out my hair and fried my ends. i have very unruly curly hair and have been straightening for about 6 or 7 years now, needless to say it suffers from severe heat damage. The sedu minimizes damage and dosnt pull out my hair. I LOVE IT!

By reading the reviews I thought this flat iron would work wonders, but it doesent. The iron works fine, I would suggest a skinner one for short hair. So far so good. Service is excellent!

The Sedu flat iron definitely exceeded my expectations, as I have tried several hair appliances over the years that couldn't handle my very thick, wavy hair. Even after reading all the reviews I was still somewhat sceptical! This product is so easy to use, and drastically cuts down on the time I spend on my hair. Folica's customer service/delivery (to Canada) also exceeded my expectations!

I would like to say that I have experience with many flat irons, but honestly I don't. Reason being I bought a Solano Sapphire Iron 6 years ago and it changed my life. I have HUGE hair. One stylist has said "enough hair for 4 people's heads. So the 2 1/2 inch Iron was great for 6 years until it recently started cooling off. So...after extensive research on this site I chose the Sedu. Its good. Good for people with thin to medium thickness. With my thick hair (3 inches below my shoulders), it takes about an hour. Way too much time. Next time I will buy a thicker iron and save myself at least a half hours worth of sweaty/hot work.

the sedu flat iron is amazing!!! it makes my hair shine and my hair stays straight hours longer then my hair did with my last iron. I would recommend this iron to everyone. All of my friends tat have used m iron always say that my iron is amazing and they want one of their own.

First, let me say that I had a less expensive version of a flat iron that really didn't work. My hair dresser told me that the real "key" is to have one that heats quickly! Thus, in researching it, I've found that having a ceramic flat iron is the best way to go. It heats quickly and holds the heat! The "Sedu" flat iron makes hair straightening quick and easy! I love this flat iron! I'm so glad I made this investment!

I have been cursed with being in the middle of the road between straight and curly hair...wavy. My hair is not as bad as some days but it definitely has a poof to it even when it is blow-dried with a round brush. This iron has got to be the best out there. Not only does it straighten your hair it makes it feel silky smooth. I don't know if I am the only one with this problem but I can't wash my hair every day because it strips all of the natural oils and makes my hair really dry but when I use the Sedu it seems like the oils come out into my hair but without a greasy feeling and it makes it look healthy and shiny.
IT'S BETTER THAN ANY OTHER BRANDS!

So far I'm finding the Sedu far superior to the CHI or Solano. Its significantly lighter (better to travel with!) and gets my hair smoother in 1/2 the time. I would definitely recommend it...at least to people with fine hair like mine. My hair seems more resistant to humidity as well - which a nice benefit.
