You guys will love this straightner. I was skeptical about spending that much money but it's really worth it. It heats up really fast and takes a lot less time to straighen long wavy hair like mine. It saves so much time and I love it. The only setback is that it gets really hot and so you can burn yourself on your hair if you are just putting your fingers through it. That just means be more careful. Its a great buy I love it.

I have tried so many different Straightners. I've tried the Expensive Ceramic ones from Beverly Hills salon and i've tried Maxiglide , i've tried some other well known Straightners but nothing compares to this SEDU straightner!!!NOthing!!!I mean this is such a great straightner it takes me 30min to strighten my hair and with the others it will take me 1hr. I love this machine its GREAT!!!Everyone that has from Curly to Nappy(me) hair is going to LOVE this Straightner, my friend told me about it and now i love her for it! Its just a great product and so light it feels like nothing.YOU GOTTA BUY THIS ONE!!!i guarantee it!!

My hair is thick, curly and extremely course - a couple of hours was the normal time spent trying to get my hair somewhat straight. Now, with the Sedu Ceramic Straightener, in half the time my hair is straight, shinny and soft to the touch. I am still able to wear my hair down after workouts at the gym. The Sedu Ceramic Straightener is one of the best investments I have ever made!

I bought this flatiron to replace the Solia one I bought last year - the Solia was a great, but it started malfunctioning. However, the Sedu is by far more superior. The wider plates and the fact you do not need to add additional pressure to make your hair straight. I love the fact its easier on my wrist! I'm very particular about my hair being perfectly straight, I'm definitely not sloppy about it. If you are too, then this is the flat iron for you.
I highly recommend the Sedu if you plan to use it on a daily basis and can afford it.

I was really hoping to go to the next level in straightening irons without paying lots and lots of money. This iron is a bit expensive, but worth every penny. My hair is a mix of black and portugese, so its pretty curly, but not the toughest. It was easy to straighten, and remained straight easily 4 a few days.
I would recommed this to any and all parties :)

I've japanesed my hair twice due to the fact that I have thick wavy hair. I had a Solano sapphire hair iron and I thought that was a good iron. But once I used the sedu I was hooked. I could let my hair dry naturally and just use the iron for 25 min and my hair looks like it was done professionally. No one believes that an iron did that to my hair. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

When I was looking for a flat iron, my hairdresser told me to buy one from CHI, but after reading the reviews about those products on your site and other sites, I decided to buy the Sedu instead. WOW, was I impressed with how well it performs! It worked 100 times better than the CHI irons that I've used in the past and all the others! I have fine, naturally curly hair that tends to frizz up even after straightening it by blow drying and then using a flat iron. When I used the Sedu, I couldn't believe how straight, soft, silky and fabulous my hair looked. Even after sleeping on it, it still looked great, not one bit of frizz! So the next step was to try it on my 12 year old daughter....that was definitely going to put this tool to the test. Her hair is super curly and very thick so I just crossed my fingers and went to work. When I was done we were both so thrilled with the results. Her hair was soft, shiny, and as straight as could be. I was able to flip the ends out and under giving it a really nice shape instead of pin straight. She looked amazing! Combining the shine therapy Heat protector by Sedu seemed to make it even silkier and she didn't get one bit of frizz or waves, even after 3 days. This is the best straightening tool I have ever used and I've had alot of them over the years. It heats up super fast and really does do what you say it can do. The price was high but it was well worth every penny! The only problem that I have is how do I prevent burning my hand on the hot hair? :) I wanted to send in photos but I didn't take any yet. the next time I do my daughters hair I'm going to send some in because the transformation has to be seen to be believed. Thank you for saving my daughter and I from a lifetime of frizzy, unruly hair!!!

i have VERY curly hair, and always looks dull and dry after i straighten it, even with serum and other shine products.. i tried the sedu and i dont even need hair products anymore! makes hair SHINY, smooth and doesnt make your hair smell burnt. My hair even stayed straight while it was raining, no frizz at all. I also like how very light weight it is. I would recommend this straightener to ANYONE! Its a little pricey for skeptical people, but trust me, if you want shiny smooth hair BUY THIS PRODUCT.

First of all the Sedu flat iron is outstanding! I have naturally curly hari and struggle to straighten it everyday. This iron makes it as easy as 1, 2, 3! Also, Folica has been wonderful to work with. I had a problem with my iron right after I purchased it. I called customer service and they immediately sent me another one and Is sent the old one back. My new one has been perfect! I love it and would buy another one!

I have had a few flat irons and one being 300.00 professional, but this one is the best I have ever had. I have very wavy thick course hair and this iron makes my hair straight thin and shiny. I love it, best investment I have ever made.

I absolutely love it! Just like many customers I wasn’t sure about spending so much on a flat iron, but it was worth it! My hair is thin, so other irons left it very dry and took the shine away. This one doesn’t do that. My hair stays straight all day and it is still shiny! And the best part - it takes me literally 5 min! LOVE IT!!!

I read all of the great reviews about this flat iron and bought it right away. It heats up really really fast which is nice, but doesn't leave my hair shiny and still takes a while to get it flat (take out those awful waves I have). It also gets very hot on the outside of the ceramic panels whereas my previous flat irons didn't. Basically the flat iron is average. Not sure if its worth $120.

Love it. It works great. It's very quick and does not damage my hair the way other irons have. But beware, the Sedu just might stop working after about a year. Mine lasted about 14 months and then stopped working. Of course, I loved it so much I bought another one.

This product made my hair look like I had spent hundreds in the salon having a blowout. My hair looks healthy and silky. I find it easy to get out the door quick, and it straightens great even if I do not blowdry it straight first. I am happy with this purchase, and realized that spending a little extra money, made a huge difference.

I hadn't done a thing with my hair for 20+ years because everytime I went to a hair dresser and had it straightened it was a nightmare. I've got pretty thin hair and it can be horribly frizzy and curls like I got a gerry curl perm.
I searched through lots of products before deciding to try this one and I can't say enough good things about it! I finally found something that makes my hair look fabulous!

The Sedu 1.5 flat iron works great....BUT it is made out of such cheap material that it falls apart within 6 months. They need to make this product more durable. Most people wouldn't want to pay over one-hundred dollars for something that doesn't even last a year :(
