I have tried manny MANY straightners and this is is the best, BY FAR. My other one's (Hot Tools, Wigo, Conair, Revlon, etc.) gave me frizzies and dried out my hair. They also had a tendency to break and the plates, without fail, would always crack.
I just got the Sedu in the mail yesterday-- it is a godsend. It straightned my hair in less than 10 minutes and, 24 hours later, IT IS STILL STRAIGHT. No frizzies or flyaways.
TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!

I was you a few couple days ago. Today is Wednesday and on Monday night I sat on the web searching which flat iron to buy. I've blown out my hair with a round brush for 15 years but it doesn't turn out that funky, stick straight style that I want. More Barbie, curl-ends. After reading all the great reviews the Sedu got, I was convinced and now I'm here to write my own. I've used other flat irons that had my hair curling on one side by the time I was finishing up the other. My hair is now stick straight (my Sedu arrived about 2 hours ago!) and I can tell it's going to stay like this. I have fine but curly hair. I've even had some hair stylists tell me that my hair will never be totally straight even with flat ironing (didn't go back there!) I can't believe the results. I had to ship to Canada and almost died when I saw how much my VISA was charged but now that I see the results, it was beyond worth it!! Your search stops here!!!

Love, love, love this product. Quick and easy to use. Heats up instantly which is a huge plus in this busy world. Straightens my hair in next to no time!

This Flat iron is so great and it does it's job!! All other flat irons I have had were bad and did not do their job. This iron is great and recommend it to everyone!!

After owning several staighteners, this is absolutely the VERY BEST !! I have very thin hair, and finding an iron that does not damage my hair was no small task. I am absolutely thrilled with this product!!!!

I've tried so many hair straighteners and this one is definitely the best. It made my hair SOOOO soft and stick straight. I was a little hesitant to spend that much money on a straightener, but it's better than going through 30 dollar one after 40 dollar one... I will only use the sedu now, nothing less.

I ordered this straightener when my Chi broke, mostly based on the reviews on this site. I was happy with my Chi. This straightener blows away my previous Chi. I have coarse, thick, wavy hair & would have to run each small strand thru the Chi several times. With the Sedu I usually only have to do it once & it is so much smoother than the Chi was with less pulling on my hair. I also like the fact that I can adjust the heat. A great buy!

I purchased the Sedu flat iron and ultrasilent blow dryer gift set. I placed my order on a Tuesday and received it on Friday and that was standard shipping! I am African American with thick, shoulder length hair and these products are amazing to me. I didn't see a lot of my hair on the floor as with past products and the time it takes to wash, blow dry, & style my hair was cut drastically. On top of that my hair turned out like Salon results, very bouncy and shiny. I regret not having photos to share but take my word for it! Wonderful products! I highly recommend both the Sedu flat iron and the ultrasilent blow dryer! I also use Biosilk products.

My hair looks and feels its best. It is so shiny and healthy. I recommend the Sedu hair straightener 100% because it is easy to use, fast and lightweight. I have previously owned another brand of hair sraightener, which was not half as practical because it was so heavy and those pins rip at the hair and break the shaft, and it is NOT ionic.

My daughters and I share the Sedu Ionic Flat Iron, and we love it. It straightens the hair well, and its size and weight is make it easier to use. It is worth its value.

It does straighten hair easily and fast. It makes your hair look shiny and it stays straight until you wash your hair. This iron is the second one I bought because the first one was from another brand and it didn't even straighten my hair even though I paid the same price for both of them. I have 3B/3C hair and I'm pretty sure that it will work well for all the curlies out there!

I love my new Sedu straightening iron! I originally purchased a different brand over 2 years ago, but didn't use it very often because it wrecked my hair. So I have been diligently searching and reading every review on every straightening iron to make sure that I didn't buy one like that again! I was a little skeptical to purchase this one because of the price, but after reading everyone's rave reviews I decided to take the plunge and I am glad I did. If you are like me, and a little hesitant to purchase this one because of the price, don't be!! It is well worth the money! I use it 2-3 times a week and haven't seen one split end yet! Great job Sedu...another satisfied customer!!

The Sedu ionic ceramic tourmaline straightener is the best hot iron out there. If you want straight smooth friz free hair this is the straightener for you. Easy and fast,with great results,even in the hot humidity of summer. Before getting
straightner my hair was wavy and frizz, but not any more. Will not be disappointed.

I have thick coarse hair and I trying to decide if I wanted to buy a Chi or a Sedu and after reading the high reviews on the Sedu, I decided to go with it. I have had it over a month now and I didn't think my hair could ever get as straight as the Sedu has made it. It does not tangle, it heats really fast and you are done in about 5-10 minutes. Please get this Sedu Iron, it REALLY WORKS AND IS GREAT ON THICK COARSE DAMAGED HAIR!!!!

i'm so glad i invested my money in this. i flat ironed my hair in 7 min. it took me 20 before and it still was completly stright. it just takes 1 slide per section of hair. i was recomend this to anyone!! :)

this is the best hair straightner i have ever had the previlige to use! it heats up in less than 30 seconds and it doesn't snag your hair at all! it doesn't steam up or leave your hair stiff. it is sooooo worth the money...i mean look at all of these reviews of everyone talking about how awesome it is! I think a lot of times people don't really know how to use a straigtener properly and that's why they don't get the results they want.
you have to make sure your hair has enough moisture in it by deep conditioning a lot and i like to put serum in my hair while it's wet(john frida super skinny serum) it makes the blow drying faster but if i have time to let it air dry i do, my hair is kinda puffy after i'm done drying it but i put two thirds of my hair up in a pony tail and keep it out of the way with a clip and the sedu does the rest of the work. make sure you're not trying to straigten too much hair at the same time and pull it through fairly quickly, pulling it through slowly doesn't make it any better...it fact it will probably make it look horrible. don't be afraid to go over the same spot a few times it you need to. and make sure you are setting it to the appropriate heat setting for your type of hair, just because it's hotter doesn't mean it will nessicarily straigten your hair better. i would recommend this product to anyone and everyone! i absolutely love it!

Im a hair stylist from Loreal Paris and normally noooo starightners are good but this one is the best!!!! I LUV IT AND I USE IT EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE....WONDER Y??????

I purchased the SEDU after reading all of the glowing reviews on this site.
I decided to wait until I had my next hair appointment to use it. I took it to my stylist to see if it met his approval and he said he would try it out on me. Well not long after he ironed the first few strands, he was raving about it, saying it was better than the one he had in the salon!
He even asked the manager about ordering them for all the stylists. She was equally impressed with the results.

My friend has had the sedu for like a year and three months and it still works great. I've even dropped it like five times but it still works. I will definitely buy it later because it works so good and her hair is really shiny. For any of you who haven't bought it yet, you're missing out. BUY THE SEDU ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I've written a review before but i thought i'd let people know that it rocks (from my friends personal experience)
