Rec'd. approx. 12/21/06 and so far am quite pleased. It was time to upgrade my old flat iron, which was ceramic, but not tourmaline. I wanted to jump on the newer technology and am glad that I did. At first it was a bit awkward to use since I previously used a smaller flat iron, but it didn't take long to get used to a wider flat iron and I do like the results. People compliment me on my "shiney" hair and it does tame the "frizz". I have fine hair, but lots of it and plenty of frizz to go along w/it. This was a great choice and I'm happy w/my purchase of almost three weeks. Great price and I like the pouch to place the hot iron on and of course, for storage. Oh and the ceramic round brush was a nice "free" surprise! Thank you! Overall, I rate this product as EXCELLENT and worth the money. I hope it lives up to this review over the long haul as I use it just about every day.

This flat iron doesn't burn or pull my hair, nor does it leave my hair feeling dry and crispy/crunchy like others have. Hair is silky smooth and perfectly straight much more quickly than other flat irons I've tried. As far as my experience goes, this flat iron has worked perfectly and speeds up my prep time too.

For years I have been using a cheap flat iron and finally decided to take the plung and purchase a good one. I am so happy that I did this. The Sedu is AWESOME! It straigtens my hair in half the time that it used to and also doesn't tear my hair out! I love it!

I had just been to the salon and when I left my hair looked like glass. I really wanted to be able to do this myself. I started researching flat irons and read all of the reviews of the Sedu. I ordered it right away and couldn't wait for it to arrive. It took about 6 days from when I placed my order. When it arrived I washed, blew dry and flat ironed my hair. I was very satisfied with this product being that my hair was as flat and shiny as it was when I had come from the salon. Thanks for all of the pictures and reviews for this product. It really helped me make my decision.

This is the 2nd time I am buying this. I just purchased this straightner for my older daughter after having used it myself. I gave it to my 17 yr old for Christmas last year. Great product! No comparison to others. The others pull. This one just glides!

We have 6 daughters and bought this for Christmas for the youngest, 14 year old twins. Two other daughters were visiting and all tried this straightener. After throwing out at least 6 broken straighteners in the last 2 years, all the girls were thrilled with the performance of this quote AWESOME SEDU.Their hair really looks shiny and healthy after its use, not dried out and strawlike.And truly straight!I even was motivated to try it and I love my curly hair!THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH THE MONEY!!! This is the all in one straightening iron! THIS IRON IS A MIRACLE! I used to own a maxiglide which worked great the 1st year and then oh my gosh it wore out so fast, would snag my hair, the plates started peeling off, and it still leaves my hair straight but with no shine so I needed a new iron! WOW sedu leaves my hair SO SHINY ITS BLINDING and so straight! I love it I finally feel sexy like one of those victoria secret models lol. I still don't believe that a this small iron leaves my naturally wavy frizzy hair so freakin pin straight shiny! My mother was shocked when after I did my hair the first time, she was like "whoa, isn't that too straight?" Awesome iron! Plus it slips through your hair with no effort and the cord is convenient too.
If you don't want super sleek shiny hair, this iron is not for you.

My hair is curly, not neccesarily the curliest, but the thing about it is that it is EXTREMELY dry. Before I ordered my Sedu, I did a ton of research, and decided that this was the best hair straightner out there. Now I recieved it today and was so excited to open it and straighten my hair. I don't know what I was expecting, but I wanted my course dry hair to turn silky. The sedu did a very nice job of straightening my hair, and got it to lay nicely (which it never does). It wasn't exactly what I had been hoping for though, but I am still very thrilled that I ordered this product. If your hair allready looks good curly (mine doesn't) then DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY!!!! Sorry this was so long, but I really hope this helped! My comps down, but I'll put pictures on later!

This flat iron is really good but not the best thing in the world. It makes your hair really shiny and straight, almost to the point where it looks greasy. I do have to go over the hair a couple times so it could be better.

I have owned many different brands of flat irons, straighteners and this is far superior. I am very happy with my purchase, it instantly takes my thick, coarse, unruly hair to smooth, straight, and shiny. Well worth the money spent..

We have had the SEDU for a month now and I was hestitate at first, because it was for my 15 year old daughter and wasn't sure it it would work on her hair. I would take her to the beautician every 4months to get it relaxed, so it wouldn't frizz as much. But, by the second month, it lost it's touch and went back to being frizzy and THICK. She's an athlete and would always wear her hair in a bun, because she didn't want to hassle with putting in gel or anything to keep all frizz down.
Now that we have the SEDU, her hair life is so much easier. She uses it every three days and it has also relaxed her hair as well. Again, I didn't think it would work on her THICK THICK FRIZZY hair, but it has done wonders. Now we dont go to the hair dresser anymore, so I save money.
It also works on my hair, which is THICK, but not frizzy, and my sister's hair too, which is frizzy, but a lot thinner.

I am really enjoying my new flat iron. This is the first Sedu I have owned and it really gets hot. It is light weight and is easier to use than my CHI.

I live in Hawaii and the humidity over here makes it very difficult for my hair to straighen. With this flat iron, straightening my hair became so easy and fast as well! It also has heat settings so you can adjust the heat to use on differnt types of hair. Straightening is also easy due to the Sedu's light weight, and it heats up instantly. I've tried the Chi and many others as well but this flat iron is by far the best.

This is by far THE BEST flat iron in the industry. I have curly, frizzy hair. I can't live without this flat iron. I own both the 1" and 1.5" because my hair is so long. Highly recommend it!

I actually received this straightener in the mail while I was in the middle of doing my hair with my old cheap straight iron. I immediately opened the box, plugged it in, and from the very first pass, I noticed a HUGE difference! It literally took me half the amount of time to do my hair AND it looked so much better than it ever had before. Instead of dry, dead-looking ends, my hair had a nice shine to it. I couldn't believe that the quality of the iron made such a difference. This iron is well worth the money.

This is greatest flat iron ever. I use to get broken and frizzy ends from my other drug store one. This one never does this and my hair is striaght and shinny and stays that way all day. It also only takes me half the time to do my hair. The product is worth the price!!
