I love this product, it doesn't pull your hair at all, its super flat design is awesome. It gets hot super quick, and it is way better than my 1"inch Chi. People tell me they can't believe my hair isn't naturally straight, when in fact it is curly/wavy/frizzy mess, i love this product!

I use my iron everyday- and it is by ar the best one I have ever had... the only problem is that both times, the iron has had electrical problems withing 10 months or so....but buying it at Folica helps because they give you a new one if it breaks before a year is up. HASSLE FREE!!!! If you're buying a hair iron- this is probably the best place to buy it!

This flat iron worked better than the HAI iron I previosly had. The life of this one was much shorter however. I have not even had it a year and it no longer works. The HAI iron lasted at least a year but did not straighten as well. Keep your receipt if you buy this one.

I bought this a month back and I just love it. I have really thick and wavy hair and used to take me almost an hour with the previous straightner to get to a satisfactory condition, although with this takes me abt 20 minutes!! Also hair does not snag.. Love it and would definetly buy this again.

I used to use a Hai 1" flat iron and this one beats it by far! It makes my hair more shiny and straight. The Sedu also keeps hair intact for more than just one day. It is great for anybody, but for those with thick unmanagable hair that you dont want to wash everyday, its perfect!

This is one of the best products I've ever purchased.!!! I'm an African American who has a full head Indian hair weave. My hair is about 25 inches long. The hair is naturally wave and resembles my hair texture if I had a perm. I was using the Hot Tool flat iron and I was satisfied with it, but desired something that could get my hair straighter. I saw the flat iron my hairdresser uses when she travels and got the idea to find a better flat iron for myself. I came across the Sedu, CHI and T3. I've researched all the flat irons and decided on the Sedu based on other users experiences. I am sooo happy with my purchase. The Sedu cut the time I spend straightening hair my more then half. I'm almost tempted to buy another to use when I travel.

This straightener is AMAZING!!!!! I have thick frizzy wavey out-of-control hair and was never able to get it straight until now. I don't even have to use any hair products and it still comes poker straight and stays that way even in the most humid and rainy weather. I can't tell you all of the compliments i've gotten. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT...IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!

I decided to get the Sedu since my sister already had the Solia flat iron and I wanted to get something different. I figured that maybe it was a little bit better since it cost a little more. Meh.. I'm not extremely impressed with it. Don't get me wrong, it's a good straightener but I kind of wish I had gotten the Solia instead.

my mom and i purchased this Sedu last february. i loved it at first, everything went well, my hair was silky and very soft.
after a year of having it, the wire began to loosen, and the light would flicker on and off. Sometimes it wouldnt even TURN ON!! after having malfunctions with the straightener, the wire suddenly burnt in half. i was shocked, i would think that when you purchase an expensive straightner, your money would go further, but it this case it didnt.
i loved it, but i would never buy it again.
works better than my last one, but now my hair is frizzier than before

My 1 1/2 " Sedu heats up very fast and I use it with the Sedu heat lotion to protect my hair from getting fried, but it doesn't. If I just dry my hair normally now without ironing it, it is very frizzy now because it has gotten fried from the iron and I haven't used it that much. I also bought CHI's heat protector spray and it didn't make that much of a difference either. My hair used to be normal to wavy, now it is just frizzy and fried looking until I calm it down with the iron and hot rollers. Then it looks great. But I seriously doubt that celebrities used this alone backstage for their hair. It's not THAT great.
You couldn't pay me to give my sedu up!

I probably tried every flat iron on the market and NOTHIN compares to a sedu. I've had it for probably three years now and it works just like the first time. Before buying my sedu I was just about to buy a chi but read the reviews and one review mentioned the sedu. I didn't want to pay over a hundred dollars for something that was going to break after a year so I checked out the sedu site. I bought the sedu because of the reviews- and I'm soooo grateful that I did!!! It cut down a 2 hour process into an less than an hour. And it's super straight that lasts. I tell everyone and when I go to the salon I bring my sedu. I LOVE my sedu!!!

wow, its amazing, have had it for like 2-3 months. it works wonders, and there are differnt heat settings which i find really useful. Sometiems when i get straight out of the shower then i use the highest setting, otherwise i use a lower setting, and heats up so quickly, and straightens even faster, what used to take me like 30-40 minutes now takes me 5-10 minutes. Great product. And love the website. I had it with like a day or too!! excellent buy, would buy from website again!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hair straightner. I thought Sedu is really good because of all the good reviews and pictures. I also brought it because it said it makes your hair shiny?... well it didn't work on me. When my Sedu arrived and i quickly turned it, the little light didn't even turn on when i put it on the lowest and second to lowest heat setting. This hair straightener is tooo over-rated. I use to have an old $30 vidal sassoon hair straigthener that worked a lot better this. Save you money and spend a little less....this straightener is the same as every other....

I have had the sedu for about 1 year. It worked great at first, then recently the green light would not come on unless I would jiggle the cord and the light would just flicker on and off. Seems as though the quality is poor as others have had similar problems--Hopefully folica will replace, since it seems it is a defect. Otherwise, I would not recommend unless you want to replace it regularly.

I debated between a Chi and Sedu and asked a couple of salon workers who both stated hands down the Sedu was better. I read review after review and finally decided to try it out. I LOVE IT. The price was good and the quality has been excellent. I have cut my time in half from using my normal cheap $20 flat iron. This one heats up in 30 seconds and you don't have let it reheat while doing your hair. I literally only take a couple of minutes to do my hair now. I highly suggest this product!

I purchased the Sedu 1 1/2" flat iron from folica.com last week. What a difference it makes using a 1 1'2 flat iron when you have longer hair vs. a 1" flat iron. So far, I love the product. I appreciate all the reviews on the folica.com website. They are the reason I purchased this particular product.

I've had a difficult time finding a flat iron that I was happy with since I began styling my hair straight about six months ago.
I have been pleased with the overall results of the Sedu and would highly recommend it to others.
