I love this freakin thing. I have had it for over a year and have had ZERO I repeat ZERO problems with it. (Knocks on wood) This flat iron is amazing if you don't buy it, you deserve frizzy, yucky, unruly hair. If you bought it. ARENT YOU GLAD YOU DID? Money well spent indeed.

wow this is the best thing i ever bought, it really works. i have really frizzy hair but with this Sedu flat iron i'm frizz free at last!!! i was happy with this product the i recommended it to my friend and family. they love it too.

I have probably the thickest, curliest hair. I have lot of it too, and this straightner is the only one that works. I recommend it to anyone.

I received my Sedu straightener yesterday and used it before going out last night. I got tons of compliments on my hair from people I had never met as well as those who have seen me through my worst hair trauma. It was a toss-up between buying the sedu or the chi since I used my roomates chi everyday and loved it. The Sedu was just as effective and if it lasts as long as they say, it was a wiser investment.
This straightner is just as good as my Revlon.

I do recommend this straightner..but it works just as well as my Professional Revlon straightner which cost $30 dollars. So I suggest you try the Revlon one first, and then try out this one if the Revlon straightner does not satisfy you.

I Purchased my sedu a little over a year ago. I thought it was great. But then something was screwed up with the internal wiring - I was a couple of weeks outside my warranty - and now I have a broken straightner, and that's it. They wont do anything for me. And it's a problem thats out of my hands, I was extremely careful with my straightner because I loved it.

So i bought the sedu bc it had such good ratings!! My hairs not even course I would say its average and the sedu doesnt do the greatest job! Ive tried the solia as well and its not that great either.. when i go to my hair dresser she uses the chi on my hair and i think thats the best!

I bought my Sedu in January and it stopped working in June. So it only lasted for five months, unacceptable for such an expensive product and one that many reviews claim last longer than a year. At least it is still under warranty but I had to pay for all the shipping costs. I am waiting for a new one. Other than having this mishap I do like how it leaves my hair super straight and shiny.

I am in love with my Sedu! I had for 3 years before it stopped working (pretty impressive after using it every single day), and I looked on here at the reviews of the other flat irons... due to the lower price and good reviews on the Solia, I purchased it and I really didn't like it. I sent it back and ordered the Sedu, and it's an amazing difference. I have really, really thick, long and wavy/curly hair, I can straighten my hair in 10-15 minutes. It also makes your hair shiny and smooth.. I love it!

I did an online comparison of the Sedu and the Chi. I chose the Sedu, due to the favorable reviews. I've used it for 2 1/2 months now and have loved it. It takes no time at all to straighten my hair and it looks beautiful. I've gotten many compliments. I straighten it about 3 times a week and it holds until I wash it (with touch ups after I get out of bed). I've had no problems with the straightener working properly. I think it was money well spent!

loooooooooove da product best ever i have extremely wavy hair n this flat iron worked wonderfully without much trouble. although it gets really hot one can quickly figure out how to handle it. must have! i dont no how i ever lived without it! n ma styling time has now cut in half. cant stop ravin abt da product!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this product about a month ago. My hair has never been this shiny and strong in all the 5 years I've been straightening it. Most hair straightners dry out and frizz your hair making you buy expensive hair products to even out the short comings. But not the Sedu straightner. I was amazed and at such an awesome price. Shipping was unbelievably fast. I am so grateful I found Folica.

so i have very very thick curly hair- ive looked online and in stores to find a good iron that can handle my thick curls- i odered this product and was very happy. altough it took a while to do, my hair did eventually get the way i wanted it to be- but unfortunatly a few months later the cord just complelety tore. i was going to order another one but i then came across an even better iron- infrashine- its amazing!!!!

I received the Sedu 1 ½” about two months ago and I use it 3-4 times a week. My hair stylist said that my hair looks better than it ever has. I love this product. It is definitely worth every penny.

I purchased this prodcut because i was told it was better than a CHI. so i was really exctied about getting it and using it. it didnt work as well as i wanted it to and it broke after only 5 months. i treated it like a baby so i did not break it. something happened to its electrical stuff. i dont know it just wouldnt turn on anymore. i would not recomend buying the sedu.

I must say that this is the best iron I've tried (although I hear good things about the Chi and haven't used it). I'm almost dependent on this thing. Unfortunately, it broke after about a year (funny that the first review I read said the same thing). I'm getting a new one b/c I use it every day, but Im bitter about it. Still, it does work well when it works.

It is worth the money. I had a chi before and the cord shorted out. I cannot tell any difference between the two except the wider plates and the temp adjustment knob. It's definitely better than the straightners you can buy at target and walmart.

Purchased this flatiron about 1 year ago. I loved it but it just stopped working. The beautician who recommended it told me her iron also just stopped working and so did the one she bought for her mothers. I feel that for the $125 cost that the item should last longer than this.
