This product is amazing. A couple of months back I lend my hair to experiment for her beauty school techniques, after that my hair was really frizzy and I hated the way it looked after I washes it I looked like a poodle. Anyway I bought the product and I LOVE IT leaves my hair sleek straight and silky smooth. My hair so far has not experience any split ends, and I truly recommend this hair iron.

This straightener has changed how I feel about my hair! It takes my curly mess and turns it into the sleek bob that I've always wanted. I've had it for a month with no problems and nothing short of amazement from other people. It is fabulous!

i was unsure whether or not to buy this at first since it was online... and i was also skeptical about which straightener would work best since this is more expensive than any other straightener i've ever had. for the past 3 years i'd been using a jilbere de paris ceramic straightener and it would get the job done... but my ends were fried.
luckily i was convinced by the 3000+ other reviews on here and bought the sedu. it is AMAZING! my hair feels soft and its shiny... and i notice a lot less damage! my hair is frizzy curly due to my dad's side and thick due to my mom's filipina heritage. you would never know it after using this product--- my hair is STICK STRAIGHT.

I'm very satisfied with my Sedu straightner. I always get complimented on the texture of my hair, people often want to touch it- so soft and smooth. I love it!

I was skeptical, even though I saw pictures of African American women in the reviews because our hair has such diverse textures. I happen to have 2 different textures of hair on my own head. I thought the Sedu Flat Iron was great!!!! Although it took me an hour to do my hair, it was well worth the time and it was still less time than when using a pressing comb. It took a couple of times just for the back of my head (more kinky) to get adjusted, but when it was on, it ws on. I would probably buy the 1 inch next time.
Works Well, Easy to Store (Good/Safe pouch is very important)

I was introduced to a straightener by my hair stylist about 1 year before I purchased this one. It provides the ability to change one's look simply and quickly. It seems to improve the integrity of the hair as well. This product resulted in a very nice and unexpected surprise.

THIS PRODUCT IS FABULOUS....FOR 3 REASONS....
NUMBER ONE.....IT DOES NOT CATCH MY VERY LONG HAIR...MEANING I AM NOT HAVING TO LITERALLY PULL MY OWN HAIR OUT JUST TO MAKE MY HAIR FLAT.....MY PRIOR IRON WAS ALSO EXPENSIVE BUT AFTER LIKE 1 MONTH IT STARTED TO CATCH MY HAIR WHENEVER I USED IT...AND I HATED THAT...THIS IRON DOES NOT CATCH YOUR HAIR AT ALL...YAY...
NUMBER TWO...I HAVE VERY THICK HAIR THAT TENDS TO RUN TO THE SAD LITTLE WAVE SIDE WHEN BLOWN DRY OR LEFT TO ITS OWN AIR DRYING DEVICES....WITH THIS PRODUCT I AM ABLE TO TAKE COPIOUS [aka LARGE] OF HAIR....AND IN ONE SWOOP MAKE HUGE SECTIONS OF HAIR STRAIGHT.....THE OVERALL EFFECT HAS BEEN THAT THE TIME SPENT ON MY HAIR HAS BEEN....LITERALLY...CUT IN HALF.....AND YES THIS IS ONE OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS....BUT IF TIME IS MONEY...AND FOR ME IT IS.....THEN....THIS PRODUCT WAS WORTH EVERY DIME....
NUMBER THREE... I HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS AND IT HAS NOT BROKEN DOWN OR BEEN LESS HEAT INTENSIVE IN ANY WAY......NOR HAS IT EVER CAUGHT AND/OR PULLED MY HAIR OUT....LOVE IT
I RECOMMEND THE LARGER IRON SIZE...LIKE THE ONE I HAVE...IF YOU HAVE LONG HAIR....

i haven't had my hair straightend in quite awhile,but i was surprised how well my hair responded.i'm using it now to "blow out" my 'fro until the weather gets cooler,but i really like this flat iron.heats up fast too

I've owned many straight irons and paid pretty pennies for them as well and by far, this is the best one I've ever owned. I love that it has a temperature gauge so you can choose how hot you need the iron to be and it heats up so quickly there's hardly any wait time. The ionic iron makes my hair straight and super shiney. I highly recommend this product!!!

I love this straightener!! It is ultra smooth on your hair and does not pull or tug at all. It heats up super quick - no waiting! The price at first seemed a bit steep to me, but after using it I realize that you get what you pay for. The cheap straighteners just do not compare to this one - it is totally worth the money!

I had this product for a year and the cord stopped working hence the iron stopped heating. I was NOT impressed. But Folica was good about it and I purchased an extended warranty and was able to get a new one for a price.

I used this Iron and found it didn't staighten my hair very well. I have medium length, thick, frizzy, curly hair. After months of using it and getting so so results, I decided to try the CHI. It is amazing. I highly recommend it. Worth the money.

do NOT buy this straightener!! i am 14 and spent over half my money on this piece of junk and it doesnt even work well at all! i have extremely thick hair and it took me 2 hours to straighten my hair (the same amount of time it takes me to do it with my old $20 walmart straightener) and after about a week my hair was permanently damaged. i havent used it for months and my hair is still fryed. i read all of these other reviews and they all claim that this is a "miracle straightener" and so i listened to that crap and bought it. dont waste your money on this!! please! im writing this for your sake! i would recommend buying a Corioliss Pro straightener because theyre approximately the same price and a million times better.

The iron has smaller plates than my maxiglide but i suppose its better since its ceramic and has tourmaline technology (smthg i was looking for). B/c the plates are smaller, it takes longer to straighten than my maxiglide b/c my hair is thick, but i guess its a healtier alternative. All in all - I FEEL like i'm going something better for my hair but the straightening power is average.
