This is a really good straightener. What I like most about it is that it doesn't pull on my hair. It works best if you use it slowly and straighten your hair in sections. First I tie the top into a bun and do the bottom half then I tie the bottom half and split the top into two sections and do them one at a time. I have thick medium-length hair and it takes me about 15-20 min for my hair to come out shiny, bouncy and smooth!

I've used a straightening iron for years on my hair and this is the first one that doesn't damage it due to the heat. I have thick but fine blonde hair that has a little wave to it if dried naturally (not a pretty wave). The Sedu iron gets my hair completely straight like I like it all the way around and I don't as much shine sprays as I used to. I debated between this one and a Chi for a few months, but after reading the reviews about the Sedu, decided to go ahead and get it and it's totally worth it. I would recommend getting Sedu to anyone looking for a new iron.

Hands down this is the best, I am a hair stylist and have used many different ones. I love it!!!!!!!! Better than Chi, Better than GHD (by far)
P.S. do not buy GHD it snags the hair, I personally do not like and I have heard the same from other hairstylists.

This particular Sedu is one of the best Flat Irons I have used to this date.I am on my second one now unfortunately they only last about 2 years (with proper care) but they do such a great job I find it worth it myself.I would reccomend this to anyone wanting a very smooth straight look with ease.Takes me about 10 minutes or less and I have long hair that is pretty thick.If they lasted longer then 2 years I would rate 5 stars but since I have to purchase a new one every 2 years I rate 4 stars.

Awesome! Fasr delivery, excellent service and a wonderful product. The pouch really comes in handly. I've had it for almost a year now. THis flat iron cuts my time in ahlf. I'm an african american female with natural curly hair. After washing I simply use a thrmo protectant (sedu), blow dry my hair, and flat iron. I'm very satisfied.

All the good things said about this flat iron is true! I do not have extremely curly hair, but it's very stubborn and a bit wavy and frizzy. My old Hot Tools flat iron did absolutely nothing to my hair, I eventually stopped using it. It led me to believe all flat irons worked that way! One day, I went to the salon and my hair stylist used a flat iron on my hair. For the first time, my hair was perfectly straight, smooth, and amazing, I wanted my hair to always look like this without going to the stylist everyday! I just got my Sedu flat iron today and the first thing I did was straighten my hairand it took me about 5 minutes. In the condition that my hair was in, it would probably have taken about 20 minutes to get it the way that it does now. This is by far the best flat iron I have ever used in my life. For the quality, it's very reasonable on the price too. I'm definitely going to recommend this flat iron to anybody who is looking for one.

This is the most amazing flat iron. I can straighten my thick, frizzy, long hair in less than ten minutes! It's an absolute miracle!

So I got this iron about a year ago, and it worked great, I love it. After a few times using it, I had to press the reset button everytime I wanted to use it. I probably iron my hair about 3 times a week. About 8 months after using it, it stopped heating up right away, it would take a while... then a few weeks later, it only heated, if i held it upright! So, I had to stand there holding it upright for about 3 minutes before I was able to start.. I know 3 min doesnt sound like alot, but for someone whose hair is semi -straight ( mine), and only needs 10-15 minutes to iron it...an extra 3 minutes in the morning standing there holding it upright is anoying... and the I dropped it recently and the reset button fell off... so now I can't even use it at all... Now im looking into a global beauty (heard great things about that, and used it a few times), Solia, or Hai, or Fhi

My 19 year old daughter has very long, thick, banana curl type curls. She has tried other flat irons and after reading the reviews I bought this one for her for Hanukkah last year. Being this is 7 months later I have to say, she still TOTALLY LOVES this product and her friends are jealous.

I got this product around a year ago and I've been using it around once to twice a week since then. It was basically the first straightening iron I bought so I was scared to spend so much but, I would recommend the product to any one. I have many friends that have expensive straighteners like the chi one but they get split ends in less than a month after their hair cut but I was able to last 6 months or more with out a hair cut. Even my hair stylist told me that my hair was really healthy and that I didn't even need a hair cut.
I am really satisfied with the product, it has left me with nothing less than shiny and soft hair.

Though I'd try an expensive straightener.... Glad I did. It works soooo great. Smooth and silky finish like never before. I even tried cheep shampoo and got great results. Worth the money.

I love my straightener. I have very kinky, curly hair and it makes it pin straight. My friends always comment on how shiny and soft it is. Although, my straightenr broke early on, they replaced it right away, no charge and I am still using it today!

This iron heats up very fast. My hair never gets caught in between the plates, which was a problem for me with my other flat irons. My hair straightens in one or two passes, and requires no added force. Its soooooo worth every dollar. Try it out, you can always return it, but I doubt you will want to.

This flat iron works miracles, although on really coarse hair, I have to flat iron over and over to get it silky straight. But overall, on permed hair it works wonders

I had a chi as many others have said before. I had mine for 2 1/2 years before it broke. I went online and did alot of research and came across this one. I decided I would no if I liked to loved it within 30 days. I LOVE ME NEW IRON!!!! As seen in the pictures from others you can really go from super curly to staight, without doing the whole blowdrying with the round brush til almost straight. I also have much straighter hair that does last for 2 days!! I love my new Sedu I will never go back to Chi!

So...i LITERALLY tried them ALL!!! i've had revlon, hot tools, ones from walmart, ones from sally, and other online stores...i've probably tried..at least a dozen in the last 5 years... i've NEVER gotten the look i wanted, til' now! I always had frizz, damage, and it wouldn't even be straight!! ntil now, i've had bad hair days everyday!! well thats all different. i've had my sedu for about a week now, and i've fallen in LOVE!!! It really does make your hair sO soft, silky, and straight! i never thought i'd have the straight hair i have now!! the free stuff is just a plus...it is kinda pricey, but if you really want perfect hair, then its So worth it! Wish i would have bought it in the first place..Would you like perfect, soft, and silky hair instead of big poofy frizz ball??
