The Reviews Don't Lie!

After alot of researching and debating about which new flat iron I wanted, I finally made my decision and ordered the Sedu about a week ago. My current straightener, the MaxiGlide, has been very good but I have had it for about 2 years now and I wanted to try a new one. So, I read ALOT of the reviews for the Sedu and it just didn't seem like I could go wrong with it. The pictures that people post are amazing and there were hardly any negative reviews. So for the first time since I got it I used it today and I am soo impressed. I have ridiculously thick, wavy, annoying, unruly hair and the Sedu handled it with no problem. It really does cut down straightening time alot and does an awesome job. I love this thing! And for $125 you really can't go wrong. If it can work this well for my kind of hair, and I didn't even have it on the highest heat setting, then I'm sure it can probably create great results for anyones hair type. I'm very happy with it and hopefully it will last me a long time. Also, it is sooo light it doesn't even feel like you are holding anything so there is no arm cramps from holding a heavy straightener. I definitely recommend the Sedu. The biggest challenge will be to see how my straight hair holds up to different types of weather conditions but I have faith in it considering how straight and silky smooth my hair came out today.

This is my 3rd straightener, and it's awesome, best one by far! I was considering either a CHI or a Sedu. But after reading the reviews, i decided on the Sedu - why? Sedu is better built, has tourmaline plates (makes hair shinnier and smoother than just ceramic), adjustable heat setting (good for thin to thick hair) and has barely no bad customer reviews! If you were like me, opt for the sedu. Spend a little more and you will definately not regret it!

I purchased this ceramic flat iron recently and have obtained fabulous results. It heats up in seconds and straightens curly hair the first time (I don't have to go over the same strand twice). I highly recommend this item, which is a great bargain.

I purchased the 1 1/2" straigntener and decided that the plate was larger than I wanted. I returned it and purchased the 1/2" which works better for me. My hair is straight but a little "puffy" so my purpose is to use it for flattening, styling and for the shine. The 1/2" is easier to use if you want to "style" your hair - curl the ends up and/or down. It is also nice that you can control the heat setting so you don't burn your hair but get it hot enough to straighten. Folica has excellent customer service ! I had no problems returning the 1 1/2" and ordering the 1/2".

This Sedu flat iron is wonderful! It cut my time in half. It leaves your hair smooth without frizz! I use the Sedu volumizing heat protection boost before blow drying and before using the flat iron. My hair is shiny and healthy and I get a lot of compliments!

I love this one but it didn't last very long. I had it right at 1 year and it quit working. I'm still using my first flat iron....which is a Chi! I wish it had lasted longer because it worked better than the Chi on my hair...but too expensive to quit working so soon!
I like it very, very much

This iron stood up to Florida August humidity...I was shocked. I have relatively fine hair that is not straight nor curly. This gives a polished look. After I use it, I follow it up with Biosilk (the clear liquid). I am very pleased with my purchase!

Better Than T3, The Sedu Rules!

My last flat iron was a T3, which I convinced myself was the best flat iron ever, simply because of the price I paid for it and all the hype. I kept it for about three years, but it really started to give out on me. Perhaps it was my imagination, but it did not seem to get as hot as it used to. That's when I found the Sedu. I read many of your reviews, saw the great photos and took a chance on a flat iron I'd never heard of. It is a very simply, smoothly designed iron, light weight, a real delight to use. The results are excellent. My hair is silky after two passes, shiney like never before, frizz free and remains straight, even in less than ideal situations. This is more than I can say for the T3, which never left my hair as straight as the Sedu and as of late, spongey minutes after I finished. I'm getting tons of compliments on my hair now with the Sedu and I am extremely happy! I might have to buy the European version for a trip to France next year.

I decided to try a different flat iron after I lost my Chi a few months ago. I had read a ton of reviews about the SEDU and saw that it was consistenly ranked as a top straightner. It really is the best flat iron I have ever used...far superior to my chi. With my chi,I would have to go over and over each piece/chunk of hair, with the SEDU, I literally run it through one time and it is straight as a board and takes all the frizz away and I live in one of the most humid parts of the country. Also it doesn't catch the ends like the CHI does (how it grabs the hair), the SEDU is much smoother and glides through your hair really nicely. Have I convinced you yet! It's really a great product and no I do not work for the company.

I have long, thick, hair and it took forever to flat iron it. this prodct was faster and didn't dry out my hair. I also used it on my friends, who have curly hair, and it warked very well with their hair too.

Have very thick curly hair. Other straighteners never did such a wonderful job and in less time. Have two teenage daughters who just love this straightener. Plan to purchase one for each of them for Christmas. Deliver and service have also been great.
AWESOME!

This straightener works greats on my extremely thick hair. It gets very hot. I wouldn't recommend using it on a daily basis. I don't want to damage my hair so I only use it when I really want to get all dolled up.
Pretty Good Iron

The Sedu iron is pretty good. For some reason, the very next day after using the iron (I put my hair up at night & sleep w/ a satin scarf on my head) my hair was flatter & softer. I'm African American w/ thick, bra-strap length hair. I love the smooth construction of the iron & seems pretty sturdy.
I haven't used an iron in over ten years (don't remember the other brand's name), but this one is pretty good & it didn't burn my hair. The iron in conjunction with great hair maintenance(good shampoo for your hair type, deep conditioning, & trimming) will provide you w/ great hair.

Dear Shopper,
I love this straightener. I had a 20$ Conair from Wal-mart before and it destroyed my hair, even with all the conditioners and serums I put into it. But with one try of the Sedu, I could feel the difference-my hair was straight, sleek, and shiny, with no damage at all. I am an asian girl, so my hair should be straight...but it's not. It has all these weird kinks and waves. The Sedu straightened those with ONE stroke. If you are hesitating because of the price, don't. A head full of beautiful, sleek hair is totally worth a hundred bucks.
I LOVE my SEDU!!!
-Love, Yan
(P.S. Way better than my friend's CHI!)
Great purchase
