I don't know about you but I am obsessed with my hair being perfectly straight. I have very wavy frizzy hair. At first I thought the straightener worked perfectly but then It started to frizz in the afternoon and even get wavy again. im currently looking for a better that will get my hair stick straight :) but this straightener DOES work fast... it just doest last until your next shower.

I just dont get all these great reviews and just wonder if all this is a scam!
I bought mine about 3 months ago. I am mixed race with very thick curly ringlety hair. Its not afro but curly and past my shoulders. Ive allways had trouble straightening my hair and thought these would be great because if all the wonderfull reviews. The first time I used them after I got them I thought no wa I must be doining somthing wrongbut after my 4 attempt wth no imporvement Ive decided to put them on ebay.
I was having to go over each 1 inch section 4 times. and when it was finally done it frizzed out within 2 hours... I was gutted.
I am from the UK and spent about £150 ($300) to get these over to the uk but there crap and Im really dissapointed.
II think I'll just give up trying to straighten my hair. Iys too much hassle..
is da bomb!!

i have thick curly/wavy/puffy/long spanish hair... I have had my sedu for a year, and it still works the same as the day i bought it... with me dropping it a few times. my hair is perfectly strait after done using it. just be careful with the heat it gets very hot. use heat protectant products so your hair stays healthy. get it now... don't hesitate... it is way worth the buy!! i loooovvvvveeeeeeee my sedu!!!!

i received my sedu 2 days after i ordered it online (i am in toronto, canada). the free gift that came with it is kind of ugly. lol. but the heat proof pouch is definetly great. i used it on my friend first whos hair is naturally curly and she was absolutely amazed at how quick it straightened her hair. shes always used the crappy ones from walmart or shoppers and she said shed always have to go over her hair at least 3 times. with the sedu, only once and it pretty much straightened her hair. when i tried it on my hair, which is a little wavy and poofy thanks to wearing my hair in a bun for over 5 yrs, it straightened my hair. the hair protectant i used BEYOND THE ZONE (from sally beauty supply) made my hair feel dry like hay after i used the flat iron. unfortunately the sedu hair protectant on this site is sold out so i was unable to purchase it when i ordered the sedu. i hope this straightener lasts since ive been doing my research on the CHI (which straightens my hair amazingly) and have read about the flat iron crapping out in less than a year and the ceramic plates falling off. i will be back to write a review once the sedu stops working just to see how long it does last. mind you, i dont plan on using it on myself more than once a week cause i do not want to ruin my hair. any suggestions on a good hair protectant?

I have super thick hair that looks like a pom pom after I blow dry it. This flat iron has changed my world! I looooove it. I'll never buy another brand.

this is iron works reallly well.. i got it like on dec. 3 and i got it for $125 but apparently the price has changed two times. before it was $119 and now its $99 so i would suggest getting it right away while the price is still pretty low
but it works really well.. i have supa thick hair thats REALLY curly and i can get is pin straight in 30 minutes.. it is still kind of thick but it works excellent.
the day after i straighten it, my natural hair oils come back and my hair is like wayy thinner and it looks ah-ma-zing!! this is probably the best flat iron you will every find. and it works perfect on stubborn hair like mine.

I bought this iron after using my friend's Chi's and my hair salon uses a Superstar (which is excellent too) if I ever have to buy another, it would probably be the superstar) .....The sedu is excellent though. The ceramic plates are so smooth and leaves my hair so incredibly smooth and straight. I do have to say though that it gets extremely HOT and almost makes me break a sweat! but it gets the job done, I just hope it doesn't ruin my hair! But I do have to say, if youre making the choice between the sedu and the chi....GO WITH SEDU! and right now they're cheap cheap! I bought mine before it reduced in price and I am still satisfied!

FOR BEST RESULTS BLOW-DRY FIRST. This product is a one of a kind appliance. Sometimes when i use hair straiteners my hair feels still and brittle. As i run my finges through my hair it says in awkward posicons!!!!! not with this product!!! I LOVE IT however, be careful with streightening when ur hair is wet u can get terrible split ends!....enjoy

So i recently bought a Sedu, well recently actually about 2 months ago. I am more than happy with it. I can't really say that it makes my hair shinier but it cuts my straightening time in half, and i've noticed significantly less damage to my ends. Not to mention that I straighten my hair in 5 minutes and curl it in about 10. Before it would take me an hour with a curling iron and by the time i'd be done with one side the other side would already be down. Plus it would usually only be the ends that curled. With the sedu, I curl in 10 minutes and it lasts all night (No exaggeration). One time i curled my hair around 6 pm lets say, and after a night of going out, when i woke up the next morning, i went to the salon to get a trim and the girl working there thought i had done it before i got there. The sedu works wonders on stubborn hair :)

i ordered this straightner about 2 weeks ago & couldnt wait to get it in so i could try it... this is by far the WORST straightner i have ever used.. My $30 wal mart straightner worked better. dont get me wrong, it gets the job done and looks great. Until you leave the house. Twenty minutes later you are pretty much right back where you started. I am very disappointed and i will definately be sending it back in exchange for the chi.

I just received my Sedu last week and just tried it today. I have to say that I am a believer. This works so fast. I also have thick curley hair and when I get done blowdrying it, I look like cousin IT. I use Thermal Str8 from Rusk and it helps with straighting. I love folica for the sale that I got. I love this iron and would NEVER go back to any other iron EVER!! Thank YOU SEDU.
If you are debating on buying one, dont, just buy it

I used it at my friends house and i was like wow... I have some really expensive straighteners and this is so good.... It feels like ur barely straightening ur hair with it but u barely squeeze it and it goes perfect.... I have such poofy and unmanageable hair i only had to go over my hair twice tops... : ) i luvs it... Best hair STRAIGHTENER EVER!!! I used to have the forever straightener and this is mucho better :)

I HAVE VERY THICK COARSE HAIR. I HAVE USED FOUR OTHER PROFESSIONAL BRAND STRAIGHT IRONS. THIS SEDU, SO FAR WORKS VERY WELL! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS BUT AS I SAID, I HAVE VERY THICK HAIS, SO I DO HAVE TO GO OVER PARTS OF MY HAIR TWICE.BUT, IT STAYS STRAIGHT FOR THREE DAYS W/ A LITE TOUCH UP. MY PROBLEM IS I USE MY FLAT IRONS SO MUCH THEY NEVER LAST FOR A FULL YEAR! I AM HOPING MY SEDU IRON WILL OUT LAST THE OTHERS. WITH THE FREE TRAVEL-POUCH, I KEEP IT IN THE POUCH WHEN NOT IN USE. I WOULD DEFINALLY TELL ANYONE SO FAR SO GOOD!! GETS VERY HOT.....VERY QUICKLY.. IN SECONDS IT IS READY TO USE!!!

I have used other flat irons before and nothing gives me the best results then the Sedu. My hair stylist used the Sedu on my hair and I loved it. When she told me the price I was like no way.. too much. Then i said I was going to treat myself for losing some weight and so i went and bought the Sedu and it was worth every penny.. LOVE IT! It doesn't give me fly aways and it make my hair feel so soft, and light not heavy and it looks healthy even If I can't get my hair cut every 6 weeks.

I purchased the sedu flat iron for my daughters 16th birthday,She absolutly loves it and cant live without it.I just purchased another one for my sons girlfriend for christmas.I will say so far it is worth the money that I had to pay, and it is the best flat iron that we have ever purchased.
