I bought this because of all the great reviews... I have tried so many different kinds of straighteners, between conair and Chi... This one is absolutely the best... It doesn't pull your hair out like other ones and your hair looks extreamly healthy and shiney. I've gotten nothing but compliments about my hair since I bought this. Highly Recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like my Sedu. My sister has a Chi, and she suggested I get one too. I did some research before buying, and it seemed like the Sedu was just as good or better. I have been very pleased with my Sedu. I have very thick hair, and I can flat iron my hair in 10 minutes with the Sedu. I also live in Houston, where it's hot and very humid--the Sedu is a lifesaver for people in humid climates. It is an expensive investment, but it's worth it because you save time and the health of your hair. I have been using my Sedu for two months every other day, and my hair is still healthy (be sure to use a protective product though).

Easy to use, heat up qucikly, don't break my hair and leave it looking shiny. I like the different heat settings and you can tell the difference between them. Their carrying case is useful too as they take a while to cool so if you need to leave quickly afterwards with them you know they won't trash your clothes in a suitcase. Good long wire. Great for med/long hair. You can get close to the roots. I am from the UK and I have some UK GHD's that wouldn't work in the US - I didn't think I could find a better straightner but overall these are at least equal to be beloved GHD's!!!

When I lives in Korea, I got a Japanese straight perm, which was a dream for my thick, frizzy hair. All of a sudden, I could just wash it and it would dry straight and silky.
Growing it out has been terrible. My wavy roots make me look like a lion, and my cheap hair straightener takes forever to get them flat, and they always frizz up again anyway, while the rest of my hair is poker-straight.
The Sedu is a miracle-- worth every penny. It easily and quickly straightens my roots without pulling, and because of the smooth plates, it's easy to flip the ends of my hair so they look softer. This is the best beauty purchase I have ever made-- ten times better than the last $200 I spent on a Japanese straight perm (which lasts 6 months, but growing it out takes forever).

I am Black with Natural curly hair. I felt helpless without going to the hair dresser every other week for a press & curl! Now I am totally in control of my roots, I am not dying for the hair dresser by day 9 or 10...AND I can even wash and press my own hair! I JUST LOVE IT!

I am very pleased with how well this iron works. Heats up quickly and the varying temps are wonderful. I use different temps to do different things. The only regret I have is that I ordered the wide iron instead of the narrow one. I have cut my hair shorter and the wide iron is difficult to use now. I will order the same iron in narrow in the near future. Highly recommend.

I cannot believe how awesome this thing is!! With the Chi, it takes about 45 minutes to do my hair. The Chi also breaks and dries my hair out really bad. But the Sedu seems to make my hair tremendously shiny and smooth! It takes me just 25 minutes to do my hair now. Just one time over my hair and it is straight. I love, love, love the Sedu!!

iron is awesome and at a more affordable price. my hair looks perfectly straight and shiny. only issue i have ever had is with the cord. after prolonged use (everyday for years) 2 of my sedus finally went out because some wiring in the cord malfunctioned. apparently it is common with the sedu but i believe there is a 2 year replacement rule if this does happen. i recommend the sedu to everyone.

This is my second Sedu. The first one broke and I replaced it with a CHI. I was not happy at all with the CHI. When Folica offered a special deal on the Sedu I jumped on it. My hair is processed with high & low lights, not to mention very unruly waves. The Sedu makes it look absolutely smoothe & beautiful in no time. It is worth every penny- remember you get what you pay for.

Straightens hair much better than any cheap straightener. Somewhat pricey, but will last so long that it is worth it.
Good quality made, light, and doesn't damage your hair as much as any other straightener I have used.

This is the first time I have used a Sedu product. my first straightener believe it or not was a curling iron! hahaha Then I went from Hot Tools to Artizen and now my Sedu! By far the Sedu is the bes I have onwed! I highly recommend this product!

I have the sedu ionic Tourmaline 1 1/2 inch now for a couple of months and I'm very happy with it works better then any other flat iron I have owned and used I haven't noticed any damage at all with the sedu I also have the 1 inch sedu flat iron but my hair is past my back so it's easier to use the 1 1/2 inch due to the length of my hair I'm very happy with the sedu and thank you folica for such excellent customer service
