I have a 14 year old and an 11 year old. They love it. I love it. They both have alot of thick but dry frizzy-prone hair. The Sedu smooths the hair out great and even adds a nice curl. It doesnt leave their hair dry either. Even when this one stops working, I would buy another.

This straightner is wonderful my daughter has very curly hair and it used to take her over an hour to straighten her hair with Sedu it takes no more than 15 minutes! Thank you Sedu and thank you Folica!!!!!!!!

I have had several flat irons in the past few years and this is well worth the money! It heats up fast makes your hair shine and feels so smooth. I would recommend it to anyone!!

works good. makes my hair really shiny. my hair doesn't get caught in it which is good. wish it got hotter than it does. overall works like the chi.

This iron rocks! It is by far the best iron I have ever used (and I have used many...from drugstore brands to profesional).
I have thick, coarse, wavy, frizzy hair and it is difficult to style. This iron is lightweight, the temperature control isn't compromised during styling, it literally glides through my hair without any tugging or pulling. One pass through my hair is enought to get the job done without causing any damage or breakage. I love, love, love this iron. Well worth every penny!

I ordered a Chi...and it arrived not even working! I was quite annoyed, b/c I thought Chi was really good. I returned it and opted for this Sedu...I have not been disappointed! It works so awesome I am definitely glad I bought this. I was happy it comes w/ a two year warranty, unlike the Chi which came w/ none. Overall this straightener is amazing!

I always said I couldn't see paying over $20-30 for an iron. Then the thermostat blew on my cheap little Conair and I burned my hair. My head smelled like burnt hair for a couple days and the damage is still growing out. I picked up a cheapie Revlon to replace it, and that thing snagged random hairs out of my head the first time I used it. After all that, I was willing to look at higher end models.
Anyway, I read reviews until my eyes hurt and finally decided on this Sedu. It's worth every penny - well, unless it quits on me in short order. I can set the exact temperature I want, it doesn't pull my hair ever, and it makes my hair sleek and classy looking. Already recommended it to my stylist.

This straightener got my hair smooth and shiny in a fast and effecient way. I didnt even have to put it on the top heat, which is super good since my hair breaks like crazy. Highly recommended.

I love Sedu! It is one of the few products out that actually does what it says it can and will do! It works quickly, and it straightens really well.

This is my 2nd Sedu. I bought the first one and traveled so often with it that the casing around the outlet broke. Also, if the chord wasn't positioned just right, the flat iron wouldn't heat up without jiggling the chord. I was pleased with the first Sedu so I bought another one just like it after having the original one for 2 years. I'm once again pleased with my replacement product and the chord no longer rotates so hopefully it will not have the same issue as the first one.

I bought the sedu after reading all the reviews. I am a professional stylist and have tried many diffrent flat irons for myself and my clients. This is one pretty good but I found it didn't really smooth the ends very well. It kinda left them feeling burnt and rough instead of smooth and silky. I also found you need the hair slips out of place while trying to straighten. I've also tried this on many diffrent hair types, again it's a good basic flat iron but definitly not the best out there for getting super smooth silky results.

i am black and have somewhat thicker hair and i was excited to get the iorn after reading all the good reviews but when i got it it didnt do anything my $20 drug store flat iorn couldnt do. i had to go over it with a hot comb! i was skeptical because of how much it cost but i decided to "treat myself" wrong idea! there is no clamp at the end to hold on to to keep it tight as ur straightnin ur hair and it gets hot to the poit where u cant touch it with out burning ur finger tips so u have to flat iron with one hand. and to cost so much it just felt cheap. i would recomend it to some one with thin hair that is not that hard to straghtin. If ur black and have thick hair its not for u! cuz my hair isnt even super thick and it does not work magic like they make it seem! i got a $50 tourmaline by jilbere de paris from sallys and that works good! go for that.

it is too good to be true. EVERY GIRL MUST BUY THIS. I have the worst hair every, dry rebellious. All my life I thought there is no hope for my hair and used to always have it in a ponytail. Finally at age 25 this miracle which I call Sedu came into my life. ( it really is that good) As I move it down the hair shaft I can see it transforming before my eyes, It is so awesome. Love it so much my fiance is getting jealous.
