Without a doubt, the best straightener I have ever used and well worth the money! I have been using the sedu for 2 years now, and it's still working as well as it did when I bought it. The best part is that it does not damage my hair the way other straighteners do. I used to have to cut my hair every 6 weeks because the ends were damaged, but now I can go 10 weeks and my hair looks as healthy as ever! I highly recommend this product!

i have such thick and coarse hair. people its pretty bad. i have a collection of hair irons and i always got tired of them cause it took forever too do like 2 whole hours. with the sedu im done in like 45 mins. its too good too be tru butt itss tru=) best iron everr. also my hair is soo much shinier, and it looks pin straight=] i get compliments about my hair saying its sooo pretty now. thank u folicia:}

This is the most amazing straightener I have ever used! I have really thick wavy frizzy hair and i cant just use a blow dryer and go... before buying the sedu i owned a couple different cheap straighteners from walmart but they never made my hair look as good as it does now!!!!
I went to Germany about a week or so ago and in the long travels my sedu broke! i was sooo upset i seriously could have cried!!!! i just bought a brand new one today and i cannot wait for it to get here!!! i have been lost without my sedu... and hair in ponytails everyday... not so cute!
if i just bought a 2nd, one you have to know it is a great product! i promise you will love it!!

I never take the time to write reviews about products, but I just had to take a minute and write one for this. I have to say my hair is so thick and unmanageable. I've tried several different flat irons and they were all horrible and it took me an hour to straighten my hair and even then it wasn't the way I wanted it. I used this the minute it came in and I was SO impressed. It took me 15 minutes to straighten my hair and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Of all the hair products I have bought, this is definitely the best money I have ever spent!

i bought a sedu about a week ago and got it four days later. the sedu is amazing and people said it worked better than the chi so i tried it. i was also thinking about the karmin which i heard was great too but this was #1 on all the sites i researched. the sedu made my hair shiny silky and less frizzy(i have really curly hair), i dont really have to go over really if i sleep in it, its smaller than i expected and is lighter than i thought too but i love it and i would buy another.doesnt look as high quality as it is but it works so im happy. so much better than the tigi bed head straightener i have. great product, im very happy:)

okay i do not own this straightener. i own FOUR different (sucky) kinds. none work and i live in georgia so when i straighten my hair and walk outside the second i walk out my hair turns curly again. it gets frizzy and dry and i have tonssss of split ends. i despise my ahir it is medium length curly and the ends and thin thin thin. and i was hoping that someone who has similar (or not) hair would email me and truthfully tell me what ALL is up with every straightener they have tried and tell me which is best. i have been saving for a while and i dont want to waste my money. please help me out. also if i straighten my hair at night and sleep on it, it isnt curly but like wavy-ish and harder to straighten in the morning...none of my friend have good hair straighteners and i got my hair dont yesterday and the lady straightened it with a chi which worked great for like 4 hours. and im hearing that this works for days. please please reply to

i've owned a couple flat irons .
the sedu really isn't anything special. it heats up really quick, but the outside part of the plate gets SO hot it's hard to touch it and do other hairstyles w/ it. it makes your hair pin straighttt and frizz free, but it leaves me with a LOT of split ends. i don't know if it's justtt my hair or if it damages other people's hair as well. after using my friend's infrashine a couple times i decided to buy one and i learned that the sedu really isn't as great as the infrashine is.
Works amazing. Just Doesnt hold humid great.

i just recieved the striaghtner and i was sooo excited. I tried it made my hair perfectly smooth and great. So i decided to put it to the test. I went walking and jogging around the block. Came back and hair was a lil poofy and look like a slight curl came back. But other then that this product is as amazing as it seems. This is written by a girl in Florida and u can only imagine the humid and heat here. The straightner itself seems pretty cheap with the plastic. But dont judge a book by its cover. It works wonders. Hope i helped!
Let alone i owned basically every cheap striaghtner and this one is by far the best.

I adore the Sedu! My hair is naturally fairly straight but it breaks very easily and I have little hairs framing my face the refuse to stay straight. I used to have to straighten four times a day to keep my hair looking straight. With the Sedu it stays for day and cause a lot less damage. It's expensive but it is worth it!

I was a little skeptical at first because people said that they had really curly frizzy hair. But when i saw their pictures their hair was nothing compared to mine. Finally, I just decided to buy it, and it was an awesome decision. If it worked on my huge wild hair, it can work on anyones. I am obsessed with straightened hair, if it is not perfectly flat and straight with a little volume, then the straightener is not good enough. This straightener is perfect, so buy it.

Theres really nothing special about Sedu.
It does heat up fast..and thats abt it.
I've used Hot Tools & CHI before.
Sedu reminds me of CHI...
BUT the best thing abt Sedu is ( i have the 1 1/2 inch) that it glides thru hair sooo easily.. I've had it for about 1 month and even if my hair is tangled..it just goes thru veryy smooth.
but as far if its the best?...im not convinced or satisfied. I wish the tourmaline one came in 1 1/2 or 2 inches.

At first I was hesitant about purchasing this because of the price, but after reading the reviews, I decided to take the chance and buy it and I'm happy that I did. I have thick curly medium length hair that used to take about 40 minutes to straighten. Now, with this straightener, it takes about 10 minutes and my hair stays straight throughout the day. This product is well worth the money and I recommend it to everyone I know.

I am very impressed with the result using Sedu flat iron. It makes my hair less frizzy as compared to other flat iron on the market.
The only disappointment is the cheap material it is made off. The picture looks more hight quality than the real one.

Back to Sedu, I love this flat iron! I have long and thick asian hair with a bit of a wave through it. I have always wanted straight hair but with my old mid range flat iron, it took me 20 - 25 minutes to straighten my hair and it still wouldn't be as straight as I liked it to be. Finally, I was sick of waking up 20 minutes earlier every day to straighten my hair and decided to take the plunge to purchase the Sedu due to all the customer reviews plus it had the Best of Folica stamp. I am so happy that I did because it cut my time to 5 minutes and left my hair straight, smooth and silky! It is def the best flat iron on the market!

Just got it and it works great, I really love it. It doesn't give me breakage and it doesn't dry out my hair. i would reccommemd a product with heat protection, cause thats what i use. but otherwise lovely!

I finally broke down after several years and purchased the Sedu about 2 weeks ago. I just didn't want to spend the money, but when I think about how much I have spent on other wasted irons, I could kick myself. I purchased the Sedu along with FHI Hot Sauce, Redken Smooth Down and CHI shine infusion. I don't know if it is because of the 3 hair products used with the Sedu, but I am amazed with how my hair looks, even my husband is commenting. The iron glided through my hair with no pulling or breaking. I have only used in on 370-380. I have dry, weak hair that frizzes as soon as you walk out the door. I have gone through rain, heat and even today I spent 7 hours outside helping to build a Kaboom playground in 100% humidity and 99 degrees on the Gulf Coast and my hair stayed straight. Even my 7 year old daughter, who has extremely dry, brittle and coarse hair that keeps breaking. Her self-esteem has increased greatly, she loves her hair now

This is the best flat iron in the world, it would be a mistake for you not to buy this styling tool.
I am latin american and I have wild rebelious, dificult frizzy hair. I have tried a bunch of different irons this is by far the number one. This iron has been the only one to tame my hair.
I have used Chi, GHD, and the T3 and none of them hold a candle to the SEDU! Best investment.
Only draw back, is that it gets too hot on the out side. I'm sure on a lower setting this won't happen.
BUY IT!

Love this iron! My hair is thick,wavy, and course. With the heat and humidity in my area, my hair gets out of contro(it doesn't matter what I put on it or do with it)! With my old iron (Chi), my hair was straight (with much effort and snagging of my hair) that is until I went into the heat! So far with the Sedu 1 1/2 flat iron my hair has actually stayed straight and smooth, and these past few days have been the most hot and humid days of the summer. No snagging of my hair, and my hair is the softest and smoothest it's ever been. I love this iron!! I must also add how fast Folica was in getting the iron to me. I received the iron, on my door step the following day!!! I was shocked that I received it so quickly and for free!!

I could never get my hair to stay straight with cheap irons. It would always frizz. This iron is made with something that just makes your hair so smooth feeling. I would have never thought I could have the hair I wanted just by switching my flat iron.
