We have owned several flat irons in the past, even ones purchased through hair salons. This flat is the best by far. My daughter has this course curly hair and it used to take hours to straighten it. With the Sedu it takes minutes and it is silky smooth. All her friends want to borrow it of course. Highly recommended only wished we had one years ago. Go for it - you won't regret purchasing this.

I read the reviews and decided to take the plunge. I was amazed with the result. For once, I did not have to blow dry my hair before flat ironing to get my hair straight.

The Sedu Hair Straightener works even better than you can imagine!! I have long, thick, very cury hair and the straightner does not pull my hair and straightens my hair faster than any other straightener! My hair is finally super soft! I absolutely Love the Sedu straighener! I threw out my other hair straigheners. I purchased the Sedu straightener after my hair dresser had to cut off 2 inches of damaged hair from using my other straightener. I did not want to spend alot of money on a straightener before, but you really get what you pay for with the Sedu straightener! It is worth the price you pay for beautiful, straight, soft hair! I LOVE IT!!!! Thank you!

I have tried several of the flat irons on the market and can honestly say this one is, as advertised, the best. I have wavy, frizzy/fuzzy hair, and this condition is getting worse as I become grayer! The Sedu flat iron does a great job eliminating most of the fuzzies (not all right at the crown, but that would be a miracle) and does not leave hair full of static. I recently went to England, and purchased a "UK" version. An expense, but worth it, as using my blow dryer there with an adaptor made the dryer's motor run extremely hot and dried out my hair terribly, makiing the frizzies even worse. The UK Sedu helped me feel polished and not self-conscious about the state of my hair, even in damp-ish weather.

Reading all the past reviews makes you wonder if this product works that well. Well it does. The other day, someone at work did not recognize me due to my great straight hair. Sorry, though, I don't have recent pics...but trust me, it's true.

if you have been looking for a flatiron that you can use on naturally curly hair...THIS IS IT! I have had a Chi for two years, but my hair was still dull and startign to get fried at the ends of my layers from trying to use it withour blowdrying straight first. The SEDU is a MIRACLE WORKER...You can use it on your hair without having to blowdry stright first to get full effect!!!! I love it. I can wear my hair curly one day, then wake up the next and strighten it in about 7 minutes for a whole new day and a whole new look! My hair is silky and feels soft too...no more crackling and frying my ends trying to hold the iron there for too long to get the right effect! Got to get this one!! I even took it into my hairstylist to show it off and he GOT ONE TOO!!!!

I bought this hot iron for my daughter and I. We were very impressed by this particular hot iron. I have purchased previous irons in the past and it has taken me forever to straighten our hair. With this hot iron, it takes me less time to straighten and works so fast! I love the different temperature settings and the iron heats up so quickly. My daughter her thick course flyaway hair, with this iron it comes out straight, shiny and manageable, she loves it. My hair is very curly, I just press my hair one time through and it's straight! I believe the price for this iron is a steal!! Thanks Folica

i didnt relize how bad my old stightner was untill i got the Sedu.... it makes my hair stight so fast and it really last no matter how much humity there is my hair stays stight! i love it if your thinking about buying this strightner you deffintly should!!!

I love this iron and I have had many! Its small, light and does a great job! It also cuts down on straightening time.
I have only used it for about a month- i hope it keeps up for awhile.

I am extremely happy with the flat iron. For the first time in my life I actually like my hair. I get compliments every day. It is fairly easy - takes 15 - 20 minutes for my thick frizzy hair to become smooth and shiny. Thanks!

I have bought several flat irons and was never happy. The Sedu flat iron does a wonderful job on my very thick, course hair. After straightning my hair it will last until I wash it with only a touch up here and there depending on the humidity. I am very satisfied with it and would definitly recommend it this iron to anybody!

I Love it! I did so much research on Irons before buying a new one. The CHI was all over magazines but people told me bad things and the reviews weren't great so I decided to try this. I am SOOO Thrilled with the performance, heats up in seconds, and easy to use. Recommend!!!!

Okee ppl, this is the BEST straighter EVER!!!! .. I got mine today, I was soo nervous about using it, b/c I was afraid it wouldn't work well, and I'd be one of the few ppl with something bad to say about the Sedu.. but I have Nothing bad to say about it!! .. It works amazing, It straightened my hair pin straight, in a matter of minutes. My hair is a little wavy and medium in thinkness. All I can say to all you straightener lookers, if you want salon straight hair, this straightener is the WAY TO GO!!!! .. and thanx to folica, they were soo fast zoom zoom!! . Cheers for sedu!!!

Well, let me start off saying, i'm a male, and i'm 15.
unlike many men with long hair (med of my back), i take very good care of it, and it looks great.
i've been wanting a flatiron for some time now. and never one to go the cheap rout, i got my sedu a few weeks ago and i love it. it takes out every bit of frizz, and makes my hair look very shiny. very easy to use, goes through the hair very easy, no pulling at all. my hair was kinda wavy before, now, its flat as a board :P
and to add to the 1000+ reviews, i give it five stars, i'm very happy.
theres something to be said when you have better hair then any girlfriend you've ever had :P

I bought the Sedu not having great expectations. I have thin wavy hair, that is usually completely horrible. I have tried nearly every shampoo that my stylist recommends, and I have similarly bought all manner of irons, blow-dryers, etc. thinking that the 'next' thing would fix it. Well, the Sedu did it...The moment I received it today I went to work, and 5 minutes (and I'm not exaggerating here!) I had super-model gorgeous hair. I really can't believe it. And my hair actually feels heathier, looks shinier, and I swear I even have more body. I recommed this iron to anyone- if it can make MY hair look this good, then imagine what it can do for yours!
Research pays off and I love the look!

I fell upon this website by mistake looking for a CHI. Seeing all of the positive reviews for the Sedu, I decided to try it out. I have naturally curly hair that I wear straight and living in Houston with very high humidity, I was forever fighting with my hair trying to keep the wave down. I couldn't go outside during the summer without my hair turning into an frizz ball. Drying my hair would take forever b/c I had to dry it in sections using a huge round brush. Using the Sedu, I can dry my hair without even using a brush and then straighten it with the Sedu. My hair will stay straight and frizz free until I decide to wash it. I brought it to my hairdresser to use on me and now he is going to order one!!! I would pay twice as much for this iron. I know now that I cannot live without it.
