I had the Kenta flat iron and i thought that was great but i find that the Sedu is the Best by FAR!!

I can get my hair done in no time now. I can even let it air dry and get great results with this flat iron. The best money I ever spent on a hair product.

It certainly did help that I read others review of this product. I normally never take the time to write reviews however this is the exception. I guess you can say it gave me more consumer confidence and I wanted to provide any skeptics out there there is hope. When I got my straight iron it sat in the box for a few days. I was scared to be dissappointed if this didn't meet my expectations. Without further delay I tried it out looking for that aww shucks factor I've had with other irons. THIS was AAAAAmazing. With just 2-3 swipes of the iron in the sectioned area of hair it was smoothe as silk. ( I do have curly curly hair, not kinky but fine and curly. Anyhow I was thrilled with the results. to the degree that I somehow misconstrude the length to represent I was due for a trim that very day.
The stylist thought that my hair was in great shape. I told her I had just straighten it out. She was perplex as to why my hair didn't have the familar scent of chemicles ususally from the straight perm process. When I assured her it was ok to wet in order to get an accurate account for the trim, and I didn't have the striaghten perm process done she too was amazed. Going further she proceeded to wet my hair to trim off the ends. What is even more terrific is while spritzing my hair itdin't even start to wave? Much less curl up. How can this be? All in all a terrific product, I'll be logging in miles on this iron.

Well, I got my Sedu in the mail a few weeks ago and I honestly love it! I used on my wavy hair and it straightened it out and made it super sleek and shiny! I was doubtful of it's "powers" at first because I have used many other irons with out good results. But, the Sedu Iron rocks! I live in Florida and the humidity here is insane. I went outside for several hours after I used the Sedu and had NO FRIZZ! Hard to believe...but true! Another plus...my finace' was wide-eyed when he saw my straight and not frizzy hair! Only BAD thing is that it makes my hair smell a little wierd.

The product is everything I wanted in a flat iron. It accomodates my fairly thick, shoulder length hair. My niece introduced me to flat irons, but the one she had did not have variable temperature settings - the Sedu does and I really like this feature. Works great - take s that frizz off just blow dried hair.

It works.I love it!!This straightner is really good.I recommend you to buy it.It's expensive but it's worth it.My hair is naturally curly and it was a mess.Now I can have smooth and sleek hair in just 20-30 minutes.It just depends on how good I want it to look.If you need a good straightner for curly thick hair try this one. It worked me and I'm sure it will work for you.It also dosen't pull your hair and your hair will still hold moisture even after the use of the iron.

i had recently bought a straightening iron from sallys beauty supply on reccomendation of a friend. her hair is short and trimmed regularly so it isnt damaged like mine... i paid $100 for it and it was alot better than walmart kinds, but it had no temp control. so i was very concerned that i was damaging my hair worse. it also snagged and pulled sometimes when i used it. SO, i came here and read all the reviews about the sedu, and was very cautious about trying yet another very expensive flat iron. but after recieving it and trying it out, i really dont know how i ever lived without it! it is amazing.... i use it along with the spray in biosilk smoothing therapy solution, and it is just perfect. my hair is long and i keep it bleached, so i dont use it on full heat. it works great and now after using it over a month i can say i dont think it is damaging my hair, it is only making it look better. i get compliments on it alot now. feels great!! try it, u wont be sorry!

This hair straightner cut my straightening time in half and now everyone is noticing how healthy my hair looks. I was skeptical when I first got it because it was so light weight but after the first time of useing it I was in love!!! Anyone who truly wants smooth silky hair needs this. Its pricey but seems like its made to last and works the best!

You definitely get what you pay for! I had a $39 hair iron for about one year. Although it served its purpose and never broke it pales in comparison to the Sedu. I've only had it a couple of weeks but so far so good. The results are amazing and it takes me about half the time it used to take me with the other iron.

I just got my Sedu yesterday and right away I tried it. I wanted to see if all the reviews were true. I went home right after work and washed my hair. I let it air dry completely. I started by sectioning out my hair and on each strand I sprayed some VO5 Heat Defense. It took me about an hour (I have long hair) and really curly, but it was worth it!!! I'm sure once I get more practice I'll be able to do it faster. I came to work today and everybody noticed. My hair came out pencil straight!!! It is awesome. I love it. I am glad I paid the money for it. My hairdresser wont see me around for a while now since I can do this at home. I recommend it to everybody. My hair is straight, shiny and super soft. Did I say I love it??? I love it.

My daughter loves the straightener! It had been recommended to us so we ordered online. Although we did not get free shipping for it since we live in Hawaii, the price was still good and mailing was quick. My daughter has always hated her wavy hair but loves it now. I may even try it myself!

After reading all the reviews I was hooked and decided to fork over a hefty sum for this flat iron. Well it works fine and perhaps a little better than your run-of-the-mill brand. BUT it still damages your hair. I used it at less than half power for only a week (all the while using heavy conditioners) but it still damaged my hair and I've got significant split ends. My advice is if you have the money to spend and want to use this on an infrequent basis, go for it. Otherwise, you may want to think twice.

wow you guys. the Sedu hair straighener is the absolute best flat iron i have ever owned. I used to have a cheap one from wal mart that only killed my hair, but the Sedu is the best thing since sliced bread! I straightened my hair perfectly in 5 mins. Anyone who is contemplating whether to buy it or not, DO IT! It's definately worth the money. I <3 the Sedu!!
