I decided to try the Sedu Iron after I read all these great reviews and hearing so much about it from my friends and I have to say this iron is FANTASTIC! it took me some time to get use to working it, but once you do you will never want to stop using it! Whether you flip it or straighten it, the style stays all day! especially if you use it with Biosilk silk theropy, it really does work wonders on your hair.I have Black kinky hair and it leaves it with no friz, no dryness, just soft silky hair! I'm so glad I invested my money in this product!

After trying many products available on the market for both me and my unfortunate daughter who seems to have inheritated my hair type i had given up on the fact that we would ever have straight hair .
I had tried many different straighteners and thought we had found a good one which we both used for the past year so panic when the caoting began to come off and our hair began to suffer ...then came the search for what to buy next and i came across sedu ....what dilemma they were onlt available in USA and not in our home country good old england did we order or not all the reviews had been good and pictures showed hair we would only dream of ...imagine our delight when on revisiting the site i found they now made them for the uk. still anxious i put in my order and made a purchase and WOW am i glad i did .. This product made my daughters wild unruly red hair glisten and as straight as i could ever hope. not only that there was no tantrum that i was pulling her hair out at the roots or burning her , what would normally take me a good hour was over and done with in 15 mins ( no i am not kidding the irons just glided )and there was no fall outs or rows that i was useless
the final test was on my own hair which had just as good effect ...despite my reservations of expense with shipping costs trust me they were no more expensive than those that are made availiable in the uk if not cheaper all in all £80 approx all in and delivered in 4 days very impressive .
so come on you brits lets give them ago you wont regret it i know i will be back!! watch this space now as i tell my friends and colleagues it will be the british invasion and hope everyone will be as impressed as me and my daughter

I am kind of lukewarm about the Sedu iron. It did a great job of straightening my hair, but my hair doesn't look too much different than it does when I use my $20 Revlon straightening iron. I was hoping it would look at least a little different since it is about $100 more.
Having said that, the Sedu definitely did a good job - it didn't pull my hair at all, compared to my cheaper iron. It heats up super fast so it does save some time. It still takes me a long time because I have so much hair (and it's all curls!) Overall, I am happy but not ecstatic about the Sedu.

The day I found out about sedu was amazing,it was before I went to sleep and I literally couldnt go to bed,i was way to be excited! My mom was unsure about ordering it offline but I told her about 'veri-sign secure' and folica's amazing money-back guarentee. Thankfully, she gave in. I started running around the house when i found out the sedu was here,in 2 days of shipping!! Although reviews were amazing, i was scared it wouldnt be that great. haha i was most definally wrong,I LOVED IT<3 I have wavy,frizzy,thick hair and just 2 swipes of sedu on a piece of hair and I was done...I definally recommend it to anyone looking for a really good straightner,dont worry about the prize...it's worth it.

this was the best hair starightener ive ever bought. it took half the time for it to straightne my hair, and it made it soft. very good straihgtener. its well worth its price. i would recommend it to anyone.

i have the sedu and it heats up quik. before i got the sedu i had a cheap flat iron and it would take me about 2-3 hours to straighten my hair. now i spend a little over an hour on my hair. but after i straighten it it never stays straight all day. i've only had it for a week now and i'm still trying diffrent products and stuff though. but the sedu does get you'r hair straight... and i like it so far except that the top of my hair keeps curling back up. but beside that i like it.
My hair never looked better!

I am extremely happy with my Sedu flat iron and want to share my experience. I have coarse hair very difficult to handle and the humidity makes things worst, it gets really bad. But with Sedu, i finally can fix my hair very straight and it looks very nice no frizzy!

Bought this product for my teenage daughter, based on the ratings online. It worked so well for her (half Caucasian, half African American) hair that I tried it myself. My hair has a perm in it (about 4 months old) but the flatiron still worked great. My daughter and I shared it for a while, but I finally broke down and bought a second...

With so many rave reviews, I was expecting a miracle. I am happy with it, but...no miracles. I have light waves and I have to use almost the highest heat to straighten it, even then I still have lots of fly aways. Can't totally complain, I like it, I'm just not loving it!!!

I have had crazy, frizzy, kinky-curly hair almost my entire life. Wearing my hair curly made me look like a freak show. My nickname in school (behind my back, of course) was Medusa. So, needless to say, I've been stuggling with straigtening my hair for a very long time.
First I bought a Babyliss Ionic hair dryer, and it did make a bit of a difference with the way my hair would straighten, and I didn't have to use as many hair products. However, go out on a misty morning or down by the beach and my hair would still instantly "poof."
I decided it was time to take the flat iron plunge. My husband and I were at the mall and there was a kiosk with a flat iron demo going on. It was for the Corioliss Digital 1" iron. The gentleman there used it on half of my hair, and my husband went crazy for the look, and had me buy one on the spot. Now, being that I like to consider myself an "informed" consumer, I wanted to make sure that this was the iitem I needed. I read up online quite a few reviews and it seemed as though after a very shot time, sometimes only days after purchase, the Corioliss would stop working properly and that the customer service was anything but helpful. So I read up on the Sedu and decided to purchase it that night and return the Corioliss. One thing about the Corioliss... it didn't heat up to the proper temp in mere seconds like stated, rather it took at least 6 minutes to heat entirely.
The Sedu is fantastic. It heats up in a minute, and the 1.5" plates cut down on the time needed to straigten my hair. I can go out without an umbrella in the mist, and I can go to the beach in the evening with the wind coming off of the water, and my hair is still smooth, straight, and silky.
I did have a little bit of breakage around my face, but some of it was old damage that the Sedu seemed to highlight (I had cowlick bangs for a little while). I also have fine hair, and just lowering the temp a bit from the highest seems to have stopped any new damage.
I no longer have to use my blow dryer, which means less prep time in the morning. Sometimes I do use it a little, but only to speed up the drying so I can flat iron my hair. No more tugging and pulling with a round brush while I sweat like crazy under the heat.
I love my Sedu and would recommend it to anyone who is sick and tired of struggling to straigten their hair with a dryer for 20+ mintues, only to have it ruined at the first sign of humidity.

My hair is naturally curly and frizz prone when the humidity gets high. Living in Texas, nothing has worked, until I tried this flat iron. I cannot believe how straight my hair remains in 95% humidity. It knocks off 15 minutes from my morning routine because you only need to go over your hair once. The Sedu is easy to use and heats up in minutes. It is definitely worth the money and I would recommend this product to anyone.

This product sells itself. With the humid climate here, I can flat iron my thick long hair in 15 minutes and it comes out feeling like silk!

I brought the Sedu after using it at my sister in law's house. I was a disbeliever until she told me to try it. I was so pleasantly surprise. My hair look sooo good, I decided I to purchase one right away. I have use it four times and it is fantastic. It has already paid for itself. It is best if you wash your hair the night before, put protective hair product in your hair, and then use the Sedu!!!

I have curly hair and have been using the CHI ceramic straightener for years. However, this one is much better. It straightens faster and fights humidity better!
