So ok, ive been using flat irons almost like 5 years and i'm a stickler with having perfect hair. so i bought the hot tools ceramic straightener and ive been using that for like 3 years, i mean it wasnt HORRIBLE, it was just ANNOYING how it pulled my hair! and i have wavy/curly hair so it was frusterating. so anyways, i work at a salon and i saw somene using CHI and i thought omgosh that works real nice! so i went on folica and checked it out. turns out that SEDU was even better.. so i saved up my money and ordered it. and it just arrived today, I like it A LOT. it doesnt pull my hair AT ALL and it leaves smoothe. i love the results and very happy with the product. hopefully it lasts more then 3 months! but yes, i highly recommend you get one if your a stickler for straight hair!!

I had a Chi turbo which broke in the process of my move from apartment to apartment. I am a college student in Florida and although I didn't want to have to buy a new hair straightener I was willing to buy another chi. well I saw the add for this straitener and after reading review after review i opted not to buy the chi and buy the sedu instead! Florida is VERY humid and when my hair is straight if i venture outside it gets really fluffy. With this straightener, even without hairspray my hair is soft and straight as can be. I love this more than I did my chi, and let me tell you that thing went everywhere with me. if you are searching for the perfect hair straightener and are looking into the chi or sedu, if you have hair that gets fluffy in humidity this the the product for you! I LOVE IT!

I think this is a great product. We've used it 3 times since receiving it and I'm amazed how it works. I've used it on my 10 year old daughter with waist length wavy thick hair. And it takes no time to go through it all and her hair looks oooohhhh so pretty. Not that its not to begin with. But its nice to do something different. I'll give it a A+.

I bought this hair straightener for my step daughter. We have purchased ever one under the sun from Hot Tools then HAI (the power cord went out) then the one from Saphora ($175). We have searched the internet forever and finally this one really does work great her hair is so straight and it stayed that way all day. Finally something that really works great just like everyone says.
The Sedu works great!

Wow! I can't believe how well this product really works! My hair is very curly and it takes FOREVER to straighten, but using this straightner doesn't make it as bad. Also, by the time I am done doing my hair it feels so soft and silky. The Sedu is definately a good investment especially if you straighten your hair almost everyday...I would definately recommend purchasing one.

I bought both the sedu and the paul mitchell flat iron. The sedu is definitely better. I returned the paul mitchell iron right away. The only complaint I have of the sedu is that the plates don't seem to touch, so if you have just a small amount of hair, it can slip through the plates. Other than that, it straightens great. I highly recommend it.

I absolutly adore my new flat iron...I have such thick curly hair and I can straighten it in under 25 minutes! It looks amazing and there is very minimal damage which has occured. I have not found a better product!

I had just bought another iron at the mall where i live and was extremely disappointed with it. When I tried to return it I was told there was no REFUNDS!!Well needless to say I talked the manager into giving me my $150 back because it sucked.Then I went on the internet and even though I was skeptical I figured I would try this new iron.2 my surprise it has been the best iron ever. Even better than the CHI!! I tried it as soon as I received it and I am so grateful 2 have it. Whoever does not believe this, u need 2 buy it 2 try it & I am 110% positive that u will LOVE it.

First, I want to thank Folica for having such an amazing price on this iron. I also was very excited to have it in my hand less than 24hours after I ordered it, using their free shipping. I looked at their map with the zones on it, but didn't think I would really receive it the next day.
I had washed my hair and let it air dry that morning. My hair is thick, wavy and hits past my buttocks. I've tried cheap straigtheners, but my arms got tired, and my hair became kinky and frizzy.
I wanted to order the Chi, but after reading reviews here it seemed the Sedu was the way to go.
Sectioned off my hair, and in about twenty minutes, I had straight shiny smooth hair. I wanted to dance with joy.
But wait!! IT gets better, my hair stayed that way for four days. It would have stayed longer, but I needed to wash it.
My hair no longer tangles when I wear it down. My comb glides thru easily after straightening.
Very impressed with the Sedu. It heats quickly. Has adjustable temperature control. Is lightweight. Very easy to use and does what it says.
Does it get any better than that?

I like the iron- it works great. I do recommend using a product to protect your hair, however. I just got my Sedu so I've been using it a lot. I was hoping my hair would be "silkier" though. Either way, it is the best flat iron I have ever owned and seems very durable (unlike the other leading iron I read about).

I was skeptical about spending the money to purchase this flat iron. I have thick, coarse hair that is frizzy(especially in the humid temperatures). I received the flat iron in the mail on Monday and immediately pulled it out of the box to test it out. I am amazed at how light weight this flat iron really is, and was thrilled at how my hair felt (very soft) after straightening my hair. I've tried several different flat irons and I have to say none of them compare to the Sedu. Thanks Folica for providing customer feedback/reviews on your web site - it definitely helped me in making a decision on product selection and purchase. this iron is great. it makes my hair shine and it works very fast. I chose it over the CHI iron b/c it was a bit cheaper and I don't regret it for a second.

not that the chi is bad but i am a student at pivot point in chicago. every student that tried it, every instructor that tried it, every client that i used it on (so far) has loved it. people with CHI are switching to this iron. now i am not saying CHI is bad, cos it isn't, but this iron (since i have used both) is better for me. i love it and will purchase another once this one goes...

I have only used a ceramin flat iron from Revlon before. I thought it worked quite alright but now I see the difference between a flat iron and a very good flat iron. Reading the reviews here made me decide to buy a Sedu for myself and I am glad that I did. This flat iron is very light weight and it heats up faster than I would ever ask for. My hair is usually corase, wavy and frizzy, but now it looks like it's been professionally done everyday.
The Revlon flat iron I bought costs 1/8 of the Sedu one so the key question is whether Sedu is worth the price??? From the bottom of my heart-YES!!
I start everyday with so much more confidence -Priceless.

Excellent product ... I recommend everyone to spend a little extra money to buy this product. My daughter and I both have a Sedu flat iron and we will never purchase any other brand. You will not be disappointed with this product.

this is a terrific tool! it straightens my hair quickly and without pulling! it is smaller than i expected, but with much better results than my old flat iron that was much bigger! i think you'll love this flat iron and what it does for your hair.

I got the straightner two days after I ordered it. I can straighten my hair everyday now and it only takes a few minutes. I love this sedu and would recommend it to anyone.

It's really a snap to get my hair absolutely straight -- something I could never do with a blow dryer alone. My hairdresser knows I don't have much patience with styling, but this goes really quickly!
