I did order a SEDU last friday and I did got it on tuesday
morning!I was really impressed because I live in Canada! but nothing can impress me more than the SEDU it is THE BEST OF THE BEST! I have not enough words to express how wonderful; amaizing and like a miracle this flat iron is! I have tried so many other ones including the SOLIA and nothing can't be compare to MY SEDU! my hair is thick, curly and frizzi and when I tryed the SEDU my jaw dropped to the floor my hair was like a shine glass, extremely soft and silky; but the best of all is that is been raining and drizzling for the past two days here in ontario and my hair is pin straigh still! worth every single penny! OH by the way I did return the SOLIA if you are goin to invest your money buy the SEDU.

Since I was a little girl, i have battled with frizz. I have curley hair. Once I hit freshman year of college, Hot Tools hair iron was introduced to me, and ive used it for 5 years, but got tired of my hair smelling like burn and looking dead. I read about the Sedu and even though it is pricy, i tried it and was amazed. My hair is healthy, straight, and beautiful. Definetly buy this instead of spending dollars every year to replace your not working hot tools.

I debated between Solano and Sedu, bought them both and returned them both. I disliked the Sedu more than the Solano, but neither seemed worthy of the price tag.
If you have never used flat irons before, you might be impressed with the results, but I have been ironing my hair for 5+ years and did not notice any quality difference. My hair is naturally very thick, wavy, slightly curly and a bit frizzy, but I do chemical straightening once per year (the Bioionic system), so I generally don't have that much frizz , except for where the untreated hair has grown in. (in case you're wondering, chemical straightening for me did not kill the curls, just the frizz, which is fine by me, it also helped me to reduce drying and ironing time).
The reason I didn't like the Sedu (or Solano) is that my hair needs to be clamped down hard, and the Sedu is just too delicate. I am sure it's fine for thinner hair, but it didn't work for me. I get better results with my much cheaper hot tools ceramic iron. I don't know what else to say, other than a $125 iron should perform much better than a $40 iron, but this was just not the case (for me).

Searching for the right flat iron was no easy task! I have tried several, but was skeptical about making such an investment. Once I decided on the Sedu (especially at a discount price), I waited it's arrival with anticipation. I immediately took it out of the box, plugged it in with appropriate settings on, waited no more than twenty seconds, removed the hair tie that had been in since I washed my hair the previous evening (leaving a nice big crease), and watched the transformation begin. Voila`, perfectly silky-smooth straight hair!!! I am delighted with the results!!!

I purchased a sedu and was thrilled as did wonders for my very wavy unruly hair. I was not thrilled however when after just a few months my sedu started turning off on its own in mid use, shortly after it stopped working altoghether.I sent it back (all the way from canada shipping is not cheap!!) the folica people said they were sending a brand new replacement. the replacement came and was working great then 2 months later it starts shutting itself again. it does this all on its afer only minutes of use.I did not mishandle this product in any way yet 2 diff. sedu irons did not work well after only 2 or 3 months.my friends who bought them with me are also having the same problem with their sedu. I am very dissappointed with this product.folica may have good service and a good warranty but what good will it do when the product does not work?

I was very eager to get a ceramic iron and after days of "deliberation", I decided to get a SEDU. I am an African-American with rather coarse hair and although it did a great job, I found that the H2PRO (that I borrowed from a friend) did a better job and it was cheaper. The SEDU made my hair straight, but a little puffy, in comparison to the H2PRO, which made my hair straight and slick. Don't get me wrong, the SEDU is very good, but I found something that worked a little better for me and it is CHEAPER.

I shower at night, so by morning, my hair is dry. All it takes is 3 minutes to straighten my hair in the morning.
I consider this one of the best time saver I ever bought. It takes only 2 runs to straighten the hair, end first, and then all the way from root.
I finally have straight hair!

I have very curly, dry, broken and coarse hair. My hair is so bad, that whenever I go to the hair dressers (i've tried many) to get it straightened and cut, they get very frustrated because they can't do it. When I leave the hair dresssers, my hair is still frizzy! I usually come home and try to iron it and blow dry it to get rid of the frizz. Sound Familiar! Well, today, I used the iron, my hair straight and nolonger frizzy and dry. I went to the hair dressers and told them to ONLY CUT MY HAIR! It cost me 15$ in comparison to 70$ and the results are AMAZING!. If this sounds familiar, get the iron and end your troubles!!! its worth it! :)

I am a black female with very long naturally curly hair. My whole life I have tried every flat iron that was known to man and was not really satisfied with the results. I have really good hair, but always wanted the straight and slender look that's seen in the celebrity magazines. Before purchasing the Sedu I owned a flat iron called FHI, which was very similar to the CHI iron made by Farouk. It straightned my hair but it really didn't get the roots well and it would take an hour or more to get the look that I desired. It would also leave my hair with a burnt smell. However once I read the reviews about the Sedu, purchased the product and tried it for myself I was extremely amazed at the results. My hair was so straight and it only took me 30 minutes to do it. I was able to straighten larger sections at a time without having the burnt smell. I would recommend this product to anyone. It is definitely worth the investment and the time. As long as this product is around perms are definitely not needed!!

My naturally wavy hair is unruly and coarse after washing and drying it. My hair is miraculously transformed after using the Sedu flat iron. It feels smooth, silky and way less bulky. I highly recommend this product.

I am very satisfied with the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron because it gives me that hair salon style hair at home. I'm really fussy when it comes to purchasing hair products, but I definitely made the right choice by selecting this flat iron that makes my thick, curly, and wavy hair incredibly straight.

My hair is thin and typically limp. A few passes with this iron, and my hair behaves all day. Smooth and shiny! It heats up FAST and doesn't snag the hair as you pull it through. Definitely a great iron!

I finally found a product that worked on my coarse, wiry, curly hair. I can straighten my entire "do" in about 15 minutes. Normally it takes me about 30 minutes to blow it straight, so this is fantastic! I'd recommend this to anyone with a lot of hair and/or wavy+ hair.

The Sedu is amazing! I was using the Salano sapphire and then the CHI turbo before I bought this straightener and there is absolutely no comparison. The Sedu made my hair pin straight even after being up all day in a ponytail. It only took 10 minutes instead of the usual 25 and left no marks from the ponytail. This straightener really does leave you hair perfectly straight, incredibly soft and in half the time. I would recommend it to everyone!!
