Bought this along with the T3 tourmaline dryer for my 14 yo daughter. The combination of products had an unbelievable result on her hair. The best it has ever appeared. The iron has an incredibly long cord that does not tangle, heats immediately and has temperature control. The nicest thing is that it obviously very gentle on her hair and slides across the hair like butter. Her hair looks healthier and silkier with this iron. Her old iron sizzled on her hair and I think was damaging it.I highly recommend this iron.

I got a sedu for my birthday and i love it! it heats up so fast! You should defienantly get it! i thought about the solia but i got this and it is worth it!

Kudos to this straigtener and to this website. I bought this straightner and let my curly hair airdry and then just go over it with this product with no styling products whatsoever in my coarse hair. Then, I dropped this flat iron in the sink and it broke, I called Folica and they had me return the broken one for a replacement and they sent it promptly and made the whole transaction simple. I would buy the flat iron again, and would surely buy it here.

I love my Sedu iron. I ordered this because it had more reviews and a higher rating than the Chi. Everyone was right--it does an amazing job in straightening. I use a lower setting because my hair is colored and fine. I highly recommend it!

The only thing worst than waiting, is waiting for a long time. I ordered my sedu and couldn't afford to pay for next day delivery so I had to wait almost a whole week for it ... but it was so worth it! The only problem is that it DOES require time and patience, but if you have it and can do it, I would strongly suggest that you get the sedu flat iron and enjoy beautiful, straight, sleek, and shiny hair. I had tried cheap irons and I regret it. The damage to my hair was so I had to cut it, but it won't be the case w/ the sedu. Thanks to everybody who wrote their reviews which helped convince me to get it!

I wish I would have bought this alot sooner. Straightens my thick hair quickly and easily...even better than the salon where they have to really work at it. I love this straightener and Folica.com sent it really quickly...what a great deal. Even with the extreme humidity here..over 13 feet of rain annually my hair has remained straight.
I can't believe it worked!

First off I have to say I have the thickest, frizziest hair ever. I have never been able to straighten my own hair. Everytime I would go to the salon to have it done. The hair stylist would fight over who would do my hair. My hair was their biggest nightmare. Well the first time I used it I washed my hair and let it air dry. I brushed it out and with the first pass with my Sedu I couldn't believe my eyes. My hair was stick straight. It took me about an hour since It was my first time ever using a flat iron. But the second time I used it it only took me about 20 min. I went out to a club that night and even though It was so hot in the club my hair stayed sleek and straight. I love my Sedu. It's worth the money. All these years I've been paying someone to do my hair. Not any more! Best product I have ever purchased.

The Sedu iron is the greatest thing to ever happen to my hair! I'm Asian and have long hair that come down my butt. My hair is very fine and gets damaged really easily. It's not like I have a severe hair problem, but it's just wavy and gets frizzy when exposed to humidity. I've used the gold-plated iron by Hot Tools since junior high, but it always damaged my hair severely. And being in college, spending too much time on hair alone was out of the question.I really thought that investing in a good iron would be a good idea, and the Sedu was no doubt my first and last choice! It's SO great! It takes no time to do my hair, and my hair is so shiny and healthy (and may I add, NO FRIZZ!). My mom says that my hair looks like of those from Pantene commercials. I know that she's exaggerating, but the Sedu really does a good job straightening without damaging the hair. I'm so~ satisfied with my Sedu! I highly recommend using the Sedu with the Frizz Eaze Extra Strength Serum. You'll LOVE putting your fingers through your hair! :)

Well I gotta admit I was skeptic,but after spending 2 days reading over 2000 reviews on the sedu,i was convinced,
I used to have a wigo, I remeber i would start doing my hair at 7 pm at night and wouldnt be done till 1 am in the morning ,I didnt want to go through that ever again, When i got my straighner I didnt even blow dry it , all I did was brush and straighten it, I did my whole head under and hour!! yes! under an hour and it was bone straight almost too striaght but i loved it!! Oh and it stayed straight for the 4 days I didnt wash my hair,amazing.
Oh also I shgould say that they made ther sedu high quality,you will notice that,nice pakaging , and wow fast delivery service!! Got in in 2 days after I ordered it and i am in Canada!

I have had such a hard time finding a straightening iron that actually works. Babyliss, chi, and others got my hair straight but it would frizz later in the day. This is the first one that actually keeps my hair straight!!!!

I was extremely suprised at how wonderful this product is.. initially, I was skeptical but once using the straightener, I was completely happy with it. Not only does it heat up quickly, it really does curl the ends (like a curling iron). Also, it doesn't pull on strands of hair like my old straightener did. I totally recommend this product.

I have researched several brands of the ceramic flatirons and wish I could find one that does not fry the ends. I was so excited to receive my Sedu because of the great reviews. But when I used it with the Bio Silk my hair was silky, straight but the ends were so rough. I have tried the brands from Sallys jilbere and the sedu gave the same effect.
Best flat iron I've ever owned!

This flat iron is pricey but well worth it! It is so quick and easy to straighten my hair. My hair slides through the iron like aknife through a butter. No more hair getting pulled. I highly reccomend this product.

My hair is coarse but not thick. This is my first time using a product of this type. Normally, I get my hair done professionally. After following the instructions on the user manual, I tested the heat setting on the product on a small section of my hair behind the ear. I found that the setting at 360 degrees works the best for my hair type. I don't have anything else to compare it to other than my hair stylist. This product left my hair looking and feeling extremely close to what I pay my hair stylist to do for much less money. I am pleased with the price and results.

this flat iron is great! I have very thick hair and it has cut my styling time down a great deal. I can even use it with air dried hair and it still comes out looking great. I am so glad I found it.

I purchased it for my daughter inlaw & myself. She has used it on herself & others & says it's great! It's light, yet there is no need to have to use a lot of pressure. It's a great investment for us, quick & works wonderful.

i love this thing! i am a black woman with mixed heritage and i have extremely curly hair with texture between black and white hair and this iron makes my hair soooo silky smoothe, not only that, my hair stays straight for days now not just a night(and my hair always wants to curl)! I know everyone raves about the Chi and I don't have one; however, there cannot possibly be an iron much better--if at all--than this one!
Product wise: Chi does make a straight iron spray that I use along with Dudley's wax(usually only after my initial wash and blow dry). Chi smells really good and the two together make an excellent combination.

I'v used a ceramic flat iron with ok results. My hairdresser suggested a CHI, but after reading the reviews of this product, I decided to try. WOW what a difference with the SEDU. Not only is my hair perfectly straight after using this flat iron, but really really smooth and soft. I never felt that smoothness with the previous flat irons I've used. Definitely the Sedu is worth the extra bucks.
