This is the best hair straightener I have ever used, including ones that have been used on my hair at salons. It's worth every penny - I have extremely thick, curly hair that is stick straight after using this iron. My hair has not been damaged at all despite the heat - it's amazing!

I can straighten my hair in 15 min. And it will stay straight all day even in humid conditions. I can even go with out washing my hair the next day if I don'y use too much product (looks a little greasy the second day if I use too much smoothing gel) I love it. Have had it about 3 weeks and it is awsome!

I can't stress enough how amazing the Sedu is. I used to spend an hour with other straighteners with less than stellar results. The Sedu is a miracle product for those of us with crazy, frizzy hair. Well worth the money!

I was a little skeptical with this iron at first, but after reading all the testimonials and doing research online, I decided to try it out...I have thick, long hair, and I was absolutely surprised when I didn't even need to pass through the iron on my hair more than once to get it to straighten up. PRETTY DAMN SWELL I TELL YOU! It made my hair straight and shiny, as if I had just gotten out of the salon. Worth the price, and I'm very satisfied with it as well. Props to Folica.com also for such a good service - I live in Canada, and I was amazed with the speedy delivery of my item!!

I loved the ease of using the flat iron instead of using a brush and a hair dryer. I set it at 280 degrees since I have fine hair (full head of hair, but thin), instead of the recommended 350 degrees. I love the fact I can adjust the heat. Once finished, I realized it took me almost the same time as a blower (maybe because I had to go over same strand 2-3 times because of lower setting)- 40 minutes vs. 50 min.-1 hr with blower).

I bought my Sedu about a month ago and decided to use it for a bit before posting a review so that I really knew how it worked.
I really like it. It does a good job straightening your hair while leaving it very soft, silky and smooth. I get my hair highlighted and when I went in last week to my hair dresser, I asked if I had any damage from doing this every day. She said NO! I love that it has a temperature control. I had mine set at 320 but recently turned it up to about 350 since I have very thick hair.
My only complaint is the craftsmanship used to set the ceramic plates in place. On my second use, the cord didn't swivel right and it flipped out of my hand. It landed on my bathroom sink, chipping the little PLASTIC tips that hold the plates in place and straight. I was so upset by this because I had JUST bought it and paid over a $100 for it. I ended up crazy glueing the pieces back in place and now it seems as good as new. But, this should not have happened. There should be a better way to mount the ceramic heating plates to the body.
Overall, I like my Sedu. It was a good purchase for my first professional straightener.

I can honestly say that this is THE BEST flat iron ever. I have purchased less expensive ones in the past. But Sedu is most definitely worth the extra cash. I have fine, frizzy, super curly, unmanageable hair. With Sedu it takes me 10 minutes to get my hair bone straight. I love this miracle product. Thank you for changing my hair forever.

The first flat iron I purchased was the Solia, having been disapointed w/the results I exchanged the Solia for the Sedu. I was so amazed w/the difference between the two. In no time my hair was shiny, straight and healthy looking. By far the Sedu is a better flat iron.

This product is by far the best I've ever used and at a reasonable price for the quality. I owned the original Chi and used it for the past 4 years. It recently began having wiring issues so I was in the market looking. I had bought a brand (Metropolis) a beauty salon for $170 - took it back it didn't do anything promised. You can't go wrong with the Sedu - I've gotten lots of compliments on how shiny and silky my hair looks after only using it two days.

I read tons of reviews to decide which straightener to buy. My hair dresser recommended the Chi, but I read a lot of reviews that said it broke after two weeks and girls were forever having to get it fixed. Anyway, based on my "research" I decided to buy the Sedu. I've had it for about a month. I use it about 4 times a week, and I love it! It only takes about 15 minutes to do all my hair (which is VERY thick and course) and after, my hair feels amazing. Even my guy friend said my hair looks healthy. It's pretty solid and I don't think it'll be breaking any time soon. Plus it heats in less than 30 seconds!!! No waiting!

I am thrilled with this product! Arrived promptly to Canada without any delays or extra costs. The product itself is very efficient, heats up within seconds and is gentle on your hair. I will save so much money visiting the hairdressers...the only drawback is the voltage cannot be converted to the UK so I will miss it much on my European trip! Thanks Folica for a brilliant service!

The sedu flat iron is amazing! My hair is very curly and dry, and no matter what state it's in, this flat iron always makes my hair look fantastic. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants pin straight hair. It's also very fast. It takes me 5-10 min., while blow drying takes me 20.

I just brought this SEDU last week and started using it on Friday, and yes, this iron is so fabulous. If anyone out there wants to get a flat iron. I would recommend this SEDU. I know it a little pricey but it work like a genius and remember "what you pay is what you get" so don't hesitate about this SEDU, buy it and you will see what it can do to your hairs. Trust me. Again, thanks SEDU for making such a great product.............

This flat iron works well, but I think it is way to expensive. I know someone who owns the next lower priced flat iron listed and it works just a good as this one. Good product, but a little pricey.

OMG I love Sedu Ionic Straightener! I have thick and wavy hair, and it makes my hair look so soft,silky and straight..my hair feels so smooth. Sedu also doesnt pull at your hair like other straighteners do.I feel like I just came out of a salon because my hair looks so great!!

Oh I aslutley love it. This is my third flat iron. I gave Sedu a ashot due to all the reviews and because I was not satisfied with my older irons. But since I got Sedu, I dont even blow dry my hair. I let it dry naturally and then use Sedu. The best part is the results are quick and Sedu leaves my hair really silky.
I'm in love w/this flat iron.

Seriously. I've owned almost every dang flat iron out there. I've tried traditional flat irons, sapphire flat irons, ceramic flat irons, and none of them has come even close to the Sedu. This is my second time around w/the Sedu because my original Sedu broke after years of useage. I've done every possible thing you can do to a single woman's hair. I've permed it, colored it, straightened it, highlighted it, and after I use the Sedu it looks even shiner than it did before. I highly recommend this flat iron. I'll never use anything else.
