I have had a Babyliss Pro with metal plate for 5 years, and it was not doing the job. I wanted to get a ceramic iron for a while now, but was hesitating as to which one to buy. I had heard a lot about the CHI, but then I landed up here and discovered the Sedu. I was amazed at all the reviews and thought it was too good to be true.
Well, it's not. It's, by far, the best iron I've tried, even better than the one my hairstylist uses. What used to take me up to 90 minutes now only takes 30, blow drying included. Plus, it leaves my hair shiny and looking healthy. What's more, my hair is still straight when I get up the next morning, touch ups are not even necessary.
All I can say is WOW! Do not hesitate to buy the Sedu, it's well worth every penny.

I got this today, and wow what a disapointment, and no I don't have hard toanage hair or curly coarse hair, I have nornal straight hair with a little wave. My Remington wet to straight is a heck of a lot better than this thing is. This is made so flimsy. I am so upset about being sucked in with these reviews. I am going to see if I can RETURN IT. lIKE I said my other falt iron is $ better than this and I think it was at target.

i like it cuz it heats fast, and it doesn't pull my hair. plus my hair doesn't feel dry afterwards, and it looks shiny and it feels soft and healthy.

I used to blow dry my hair, which would take up to 30 mins to do, now I use the Sedu straightener, and it takes less than 10 minutes and looks so much better. It makes my hair so smooth and doesn't dry it out at all.

I wonder why I waited so long to purchase my Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener. The price is well worth it. I used to pay $20 from time to time to have my hair blown out straight, but now I have my Sedu. I have used it for overall straightening but sometimes I blow it out quickly and then just use it to touch-up when the weather gets humid. It is gentle on the hair - I use a few times a week.

it works best when your hair is totally dry. it works pretty good. But, it seems to take me longer to flatten my hair then my last iron. but, maybe i haven't gotten use to this one yet. I've only used it a couple times so far. I notice with the adjustable temp. on the flat irons they sometimes don't work as well. This one works well, but even on the highest temp it seems to take a little while longer. I'm not sure why. I'll have to write a better review after using it more.

this flat iron is so awesome. i just got it tonight and could not wait to try it out. i was debating between the chi turbo that my friends use, and the sedu. i am so glad i chose the sedu, its so much better and even cost less. it leaves your hair so silky and soft. i have naturally wavy, frizzy hair thats really thick. out of all the flat irons that ive used in the past, this one by far leaves my hair the thinnest looking. if youre looking for a flat iron, look no further. this is the best choice.

i just got the Sedu flat iron yesturday. It is so great. It took me 20 to straiten my hair rather than 45. Its great for thick because it goes up to 410 degrees and its really light .Hopfully it will last a long time. If your looking for a flat iron get the sedu

I bought this hot iron because my old one was just not working as well as when I bought it. I have very thick curly hair and it takes a lot to straighten it. The very first time I used the Sedu hot iron I noticed that it got hot within seconds, and not only straightened my hair but gave it a shine. I love it and would of spent double to get these results. Great product, I highly recommend trying it!

Bought the Sedu after reading the reviews on Folica.com. Got it because on of my daughters has very unruly, kinky hair. We tried other straightening irons, the cheap ones just did not work. Bought the Sedu and it is worth every cent! Her hair looks gorgeous and healthy. Her shoulder lenght hair needs to be set on the highest temp but with only one swipe of the Sedu it's smooth and shiny. It is truly a miracle appliance. Easy to use, nice long cord and produces excellent results. Both of my daughters and I love it.

I purchased the sedu flat iron and I can't say enough good things about it. It makes my hair soft, shiny, healthy and straight. It is SO effortless too. One pass and that section is straight to perfection! It's fast and easy to use and I would highly recommend this flat iron to anyone!

This is a wonderful flat iron!! I would spend long hours at the salon to get my coarse curly hair looking good. But now I've said good bye to the long hours at the salon because I can get my hair looking even better with the sedu flat iron on my own. This flat iron leaves my hair shiny, straight and soft!! Love it!!

I had bought both of my daughters Sedu irons and one has had hers for almost two years, the other one quit after less than five months but Folica replaced it within a week no questions asked and she loves it, the quality is great.

My cousin had this straightener and when I borrowed it I knew I had to have one. Your Hair is so smooth and silky after use. The BEST straightener out there!
