this is a great iron if you have shoulder length to short hair... but my hair is really long and folica was out of the 1 and a half inch irons so i decided to try the 1 inch to see if i even liked it... im sending it back for a different one.. my friend has a solano and it works for me so... this is a big investment for me so im a little discouraged.

I don't know how I lived without this flat iron before I received it. It is the best flat iron that I have ever tried, even better than the one at the hair salon I go to. I have very fine hair, and it works perfectly. It is also a great size for handling and travel.

I just received this straightener 2 days ago and already I know I can't live without it!!! It is absolutely amazing. It looks even better than when my hairdresser straightens it!! My sister and I both have long, naturally curly hair and this is the answer to our prayers. It used to take me over an hour to blow it out with a hair dryer and brush, and then I'd still have to go over with the junky straightener that we paid $40 for, and it still didn't look great. The Sedu glides through my hair so smoothly, it doesn't pull or snag like the other flat irons do. It absolutely transforms your frizzy, poofy hair into a straight, sleek, shiny masterpiece in a very little amount of time!! It's definitely worth the money, I'd even pay double for it. I have used many other irons and this one certainly has saved me the most time. It heats up quickly and more importantly, I only need 10-15 minutes and my hair is shiny and smooth. I have had so many people comment on how nice and healthy my hair looks now. I think it is worth every penny.

I read the great reviews & decided this product was my best choice based on the reviews. It works fine, but I did not notice any significant difference over any other flat iron I have tried before...I am a little disappointed.

I have owned way too many flat irons! I had the CHI, which I didn't like because it didn't have heat settings (my hair is color treated and damaged, so I don't want to further fry it!). I got the CHI Turbo next (with heat settings). First of all WAAAAYYYY too expensive considering the great alternatives, not to mention it shorted out just over a year after I bought it! I then (at a hairdresser's recommendation) bought the Babyliss Pro. I hated that one and had to take it back because it pulled out & broke so much of my hair. So, in my search for a new QUALITY flat iron I purchased the Sedu. I LOVE IT. It works perfectly. Straight, shiny hair for days. Heat settings too I don't have to OVER-DO it. I highly recommend it.

I had a wigo and the ceramic melted off, and would leave my hair feeling dry. This iron leaves it shiny and soft, works super fast, and lets you get stick straight ends or have some curl. Definitely worth the $$.

We have never used a flat iron before, and have been very pleased with the results.
My 2 daughters and I all have different hair types--fine texture but thick and wavy, fine texture, fairly straight and thick but with flyaways, and coarse texture, thick, straight but with flyaways. This iron smooths and gives a polished finish to all of our hair types. And best of all we are able to change the heat setting since we need different ones.
We have not owned it long, so we hope it lasts a long time!

This is the best and easiest flat iron I've used. I read most of the reviews and waited about 2 weeks before ordering. I should have ordered sooner. This iron is well worth the money. Works awesome.

Spend an extra few dollars and get a Chi. My roommate has had a Chi Turbo for over Four years and it works fine. I read here a few people had problems with Chi's breaking after a few month's so both my mom and I got the Sedu instead. Big Mistake. After only TWO WEEKS, YES TWO WEEKS, the cheap plastic part that holds together the spring broke, and the spring wouldn't stay in place making the iron completely worthless. The just three weeks after that, my mothers hair iron just stopped heating entirely. I will never get this product again and take my chances getting a Chi.

I have thick, coarse, very curly, and frizzy long hair. I have tried other straightening irons, but none of them worked well. The Sedu Ionic Ceramic Flat Iron not only made my hair perfectly straight but also left it feeling soft, smooth, and silky. When I look in the mirror, I cannot believe this is my hair. I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with problem hair like mine.

After using my roomate's Chi iron to straighten my hair and realizing the difference it made in my hair, I decided to invest in a high quality, expensive flat iron. I went to this website and saw all of the negative reviews for the durabilty or the Chi iron and checked out the reviews for the Sedu. I liked what I saw and decided to take a chance, even though I had never used a Sedu before. I love it! It used to take me an hour to straighten my hair with my old straightener and I was never completely confident with the way it looked. With a Sedu, it takes 15-20 minutes for perfection, the same time as with a Chi. I am completely satisfied with my investment in the Sedu flat iron and highly recommend it.

I am really into hair, I really like to be on the up and up about the latest products around. I was informed that ceramic flat iorns are good, I purchased a pair. I later found about Sedu ionic ceramic flat irons and saw the great reviews it got. I decided to order. I was so impressed that I gave my other flat irons away! These are really wonderful, especially for ethnic hair. It does wonders and make your hair have moisture. I hope they make some great quality hair blow dryer in the future. I'm sure I will purchase that as well.

Its been a few months since I had my Sedu 1" iron so it was time to write a review... I have medium wavy, frizzy hair...I have had a Revlon, Conair and a Hot Tools ceramic. The Sedu is by far the most excellent...less time heating up, less time on my hair..my hair is straight and the frizz is gone. I have had no damage from this iron unlike the others. The 1" lets me turn the ends under too. It's just wonderful!!!!, made a great difference in my appearance. I was alittle apprehensive on the cost, but this iron is definetly worth it!!!!!!

My Sedu is the best. When I first went to go straighten my hair I relized how fast it took to heat up it was great! Then I straightened my hair and when Iwas done it was super straight! The nexxt day my hair was still staight!
