I am so in love with my iron! It is the best one that i have ever used. I have super fine hair and when using other flat irons, I would hear my hair snap as I straightened it...NOT GOOD!
Last night I had fallen asleep with my hair wet and needed to have it flat ironed for work this morning. Not wanting to wake up early I decided to do it that night. I was so amazed that it only took me 20 minutes to do my whole head...and I was able to do larger sections and only move the iron over my hair one time to straighten it and then once if it needed more curl! Less heat, no pulling, less time, more shine! I love my Sedu!

This is the third flat iron I have purchased. My firt flat iron was a kenta, which worked well with the exception of returning it once due to a cord malfunction. I then preceded to buy a back-up iron which was a babyliss. This iron was a nightmare; it was too heavy and very large and akward. It also had the switch on the handle which I accidently kept turning off. Well, after 5 years my kenta finally died. I went on folica.com to do some research on flat irons. I was pleased to see all the excellent ratings on this product. It was a little pricey but if it lasts and performs well it will be worth the money. I even consulted my hairdresser and she told me it would be worth spending the extra money since I use my flat iron a lot ,especially in the cooler months. I have had my sedu about a month and so far it has worked great. It is smaller than my old iron but actually works better at getting closer to the root. I hope it continues to work just as well as it works today. I haven't seen any reviews where a customer has had their's more than a year. If I can say I've had my for years without malfunctions I will be completely satisfied.

I thought my solia was great until i bought the sedu flat iron. Wow- it's amazing.it works 3 times as fast on less heat. it makes your hair silky soft too.
( my hair type-long, thick, wavy, frizzy in summer)

This flat iron is the greatest! I've used several and this one is by far the best- straightens and smooths hair in no time and heats up the fastest! Folica shipped overnight with absolutely no problems. Thanks so much!!

I love this product I'm african-american and indian and I love this product it makes my out of control frizzy big thick hair smooth straight and sleek and that's what I love most about the straightner

I am Black and have thick coarse hair. I was not impressed by the flat irons. The ends of my hair were still frizzy after I used these irons. I expected more from the irons. My regular curlings irons did better. If you are a black female with thick coarse hair, I would advise you not to invest in sedu flat irons.

After hours of research, I decided to purchase the Sedu flat iron. Many reviews commented on how their hair seemed to be humidity proof which is what I wanted for my fine hair. I definitely got what I wanted for the best price on the internet.

I love the Sedu! It is fast and easy to use. It is awesome that it only takes about 20 seconds to heat up. After the first use, I now know how to do my hair in record time. Since I have started using the Sedu, no one can tell that I am growing my hair out. This is by far better than the chi but not as pricey.

It's a fabulous iron. I like it better the Chi Turbo and the Hai Convertible. It's extremely light and very easy to handle. It does an incredible job! I can't imagine anyone not liking this iron.

I love this product. I have Thick curly hair and this is by far the best iron. I have purchased 5 irons over the last two years and spent a small fortune trying to find one that would work, this one is it. I did a lot of research before ordering this one, in fact only discovered it after researching the best, most recomended, consumer ratings, professional hairstylists recomendations and web sites, etc... This iron was the most highly rated by all. I was at the point of not careing about the cost, I just wanted one that would work! It was nice to find this was not the MOST expensive iron on the market, but just the best! I am happy to report this is a dream come true for anyone with stubborn curls. My hair, besides being thick and curly has also been color treated so this iron not only controls the curl but makes my hair shiny and healthy, no kidding... it feels silky, they way those of us with curly hair have always thought "normal" healthy hair would feel like! I cant keep my fingers out of it!
One thing I've noticed, maybe its the ionic feature, but my hair doesnt fluff up like it used to when I used other irons, the humidity doesnt seem to affect my hair after using this iron. I cant say enough good things about it and regret not finding out about it until now. (The money and frustration I could have saved!)

I received my Sedu two days ago and have gotten so many positive comments on my hair that it is just unbelievable. A coworker followed me around yesterday asking me to tell her my secret -- finally I told her. I also purchased the Wigo ceramic curling iron it also works quite well. I have "BAD" ethnic hair. It was hard, unruly and badly damaged from years of giving myself chemical relaxers (NEVER A GOOD IDEA). I also do my own micro extensions and cuts. My big problem (although no one else would have noticed it) was that my own hair was so badly damaged on the ends (from years of relaxers and using the conventional styling tools) that I could see a big difference between the ends of my own hair and that of the extensions. It drove me crazy everyday. I decided that I was no longer going to use chemical relaxers and that I was going to give my hair a badly needed rest so I started to research my options. I came across so much hub bub about this Sedu Flat Iron and the reviews seemed so good I thought I'd give it a try. Well -- my hair has a whole new life. We all know how it feels to make purchases because we fall for the hype and then the products don't do what they say they'll do -- this is not the case with the Sedu. It really works. It works so well that I can hardly believe it and even with the hot humid weather that we're having in NYC right now my hair has not reverted yet (and I am overdue for a relaxer touch up). Truly, I am amazed. This product has made my daily life so much easier. Now I have never tried any other flat irons so I cannot make any comparison. I only know that this product has changed my life in a great way and more importantly, it really does what they say it will do for your hair. Ditto with the Wigo. If you can afford to make this purchase and you have problem hair, I would personally recommend it.

I have ridiculously curly hair and have always used a so-so flat iron. My friend bought the Chi Turbo and after I tried it, I fell in love with it! After reading reviews about the Chi and finding out that it breaks more often than not (my friend has had problems with hers), I went for the Sedu. It works JUST as well and hopefully it won't break any time soon. It's worth the money and just as good as a Chi.

I have very fine highlighted hair cut in a bob with a few layers. The Sedu 1-inch flat iron was perfect for my hair type. I can control the heat so I don't damage my fine hair and still get a very smooth result. As a former curling iron user, this flat iron was so much more effective for my hair style.

LOVE IT! I am not the most patient person when it comes to "primping" in the morning, but this is EASY and FAST. The finish makes my hair look and feel healthier than just blowing dry.

I love my new flat iron. I've used it many times since I got it and what I like is it heats up very quickly, is very light and does a very good job on my hair. I love straight hair and this is what I get when I use my flat iron.

I have gone through many straighteners in the last 5 years and i have never had one that works as well as this one. It is so fast and easy.It works perfectly. I am 100 % saticfied and recomend it to everyone.

I received the iron while my step girls where in town. They have been using a flat iron for years. As teenagers they buy the inexpensive ones from the local retailers. They were quite impressed with the sedu. NOw they want one. I can't believe how easy it is to use. I am not one to spend a lot of time in the bathroom doing my hair and with the suda I don't have to. 15 minutes and it is done. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a flat iron. There is a big difference from the inexpensive ones you buy, I had used my step girls and it took twice as long. I just recently moved to SC and the humdity will ruin anyone hair do within minutes of stepping out the door. but with the suda I do not have that problem. My hair stays smooth all day long.

You have to pick the right iron for the type of hair you have. I purchased a Solia first. It was OK, but I have wavy frizzy hair and like one of the reviews said, the moving plates may not grip well on certain hair types. I exchanged it for the Sedu. It works really well, even in the humitdity. It worked best after my hair was blow dried. Letting my hair air dry over night and using the Sedu in the morning did not give me the best results. If you have alot of wavy, frizzy, puffy hair pick the Sedu!

I have really curly hair that is a chore to straighten. Honestly, this flat iron is even better than the one used by the salon I go to.....which translates to me doing a better job at getting the curls out. If you do small sections at a time this item is unbeatable.

I went to get a haircut and my stylist always managed to make my baby fine frizzy hair look so smooth with the SEDU. I was tired of trying to mimic the look with the hairdryer and a brush, so I splurged on the SEDU and I have never gone back. I am completely addicted and it is so worth it to see my hair look salon slick and perfectly straight in mere minutes. This product has saved me so much time and heartbreak with my hair. I absolutely love it!
