I have curly, frizzy hair that's fluffy not thick. I love how silky my hair is after using the SEDU flat iron. I use the 1 inch because it's easy to manuver. It's light too. I tried the Solia and it's heavy and doesn't glide as easily thru hair. I returned it and kept the SEDU. I also purchased the silk therapy. And it's like the cherry on the hot fudge sundae. It's makes the resulting shine sparkle!

Okay so I may not be qualified to make that claim just yet BUT, I got this iron yesterday and was very impressed with the quality. I used this iron today and absolutely love it! I didn't beleive the claim on the box that says it cuts your ironing time in half, it may not literally be in half, but it definitely was faster, smoother and better than other irons I have used, even my hair stylist's iron isn't this smooth. I'm going to take it with me next time so she can use it. I'm finding that in like, it's true that you do get what you pay for!

I was a little worried because this SEDU only heats up to 200 degrees and I was used to my HAI that heats up to over 400 degrees, but it actually works better! It really does make your hair silky smooth like all the reviews say. It heats up super fast and it smooths each section super fast too, I used to have to hold my HAI over each section for a long time and at such a high temperature it was very damaging. Thats why SEDU hair straightener is so great; it has a lower temperature setting which is better for your hair and it even works better too. The 1" is the best size because you dont get any kinks in your hair (trust me I have long hair and I have tried big straighteners, but this size is the best). I love this SEDU and strongly recommend it.

This straightener really works! I have been using the HAI straightener for a few years now and it heats up to over 400 degrees, this SEDU straightener only heats up to 200 degress but it worked better! I was a little worried about the low heat setting but after reading the reviews I decided to try it and it really is fantastic. It heats up fast and smooths your hair fast and it feels much silkier than when I used my HAI. I also used to have to hold by HAI straightener over each section for much longer than with the SEDU.So it is better for your hair because the heat isn't as hot but it works better! now that's the best for your hair and time. The 1" is also the best size because you don't get any kinks in your hair (trust me I have long hair and I've tried the big ones but this size is the best). I have dry hair and this SEDU makes my hair feel like silk and is so much thinner than the normal poof my hair looks like. I strongly recommend this product because I love it!

This product works great. A hairdresser friend let me use her flat iron but I didn't really like it. The Sedu is easy to use and my hair looks great.

I love this flat iron... Its really worth what you pay for it. Ive been through 2 wigo flatirons in one year they always loose there heat. But this home it still as hot as the day i first used it. I get my hair done in like 15 minuntes now with the wigo it took me like 45 minutes... This really is perfect

i purchased the sedu and the solia hair irons.The sedu is great.I loved it.It is worth the price difference.My hair is curly and with the sedu i just go over it one time, two on stubborn waves.It gets the job done quick.NO frizz.The solia on the other hand,works good but is more like a regular ceramic iron.It works like my old hairart iron.It takes longer to straighten.It works good but the sedu is way better.My husband noticed the differnce.Also,If you like to flip your hair out,this is the iron to get,it makes it so easy.

this iron is amazing! it takes me only 10 minutes ( I timed it) to completely straighten my long/thick/wavy hair! I tried the 1.5" plate Sedu but the 1" plates make it easier to straighten the top of my hair, and it can be used on shorter hair. My hair stays straight all day and people always ask me about it! I definetly recommend it!

I have extremely curly/kinky/frizzy hair (mixed black and white) and straightening my hair is never fun nor easy. the sedu took less time and straightened my hair a lot easier! because I am still getting used to using it well, when the wind blew my hair stayed in the wind blown position, but for what it's worth, it is SOOO much better than my old one (conair)!!! very very wonderful straightener!!

I've recently received my sedu flat iron and so far i'm impressed with the results. I have used other flat irons in the past, but they either dont keep my hair straight for very long, or the humidity messes up my hair. Not only does this flat iron withstand Florida humidity, it actually keeps my hair african-american hair straight! I am so impressed with the results that I recommend this flat iron to anyone, regardless of hair type.

The Sedu Flat Iron was easy to use and completely straightened my thick, curly, hair. If I take my time to straighten my hair, about twenty minutes, I can go at least three days before I need to straighten my hair again. In between, I just take 5 minutes to touch it up. I would definitely recommend this flat iron. The cheaper ones just do not work near as well.

I have been through many flat irons and this is the best ever!!! My hair is really curly and when it's humid outside my hair goes crazy and turns back to curly/frizzy. When I used the Sedu, even when it was humid outside, my hair still stayed pretty straight. It's fabulous!

Up until 1 month ago I survived on the 1" Chi Turbo flat iron. It is absolutely wonderful but one day decided to stop working (as many people have reported). I decided to switch brands in the hopes for better qulaity and purchased the 1" Sedu but it is incomparable. It does not leave my hair as shiny as the Chi and does not protect against humidity as well. I am now looking to exchange this product for the lesser quality but better performing Chi Turbo.

I was VERY skeptical about any flat iron because I've never had one that works well. All I'd ever get is FRIZZZZ and it took so long because I'd have to go over the same piece of hair over and over. So I researched for hours on this site one day and decided to invest in the Sedu 1" flat iron. I have naturally curly hair and would go to the salon just to have them wash and straighten my hair. But now I straighten my own! It works SO WELL and FAST! My husband LOVES the results too! I'd HIGHLY recommend it!

I have to say I am pretty impressed with this flat iron. It does not pull the hair out like my old one, which was a Conair. It heats up in seconds and only takes 1-2 strokes to straighten my hair. I have very thick and curly/wavy hair that is also colored and has bleach chunks in it. It works great on my damaged hair.
I was so happy with how healthy my hair looked after using this iron. It looked shiny, felt soft, and had fewer broken hairs sticking up. It also stayed straight all night and had I not slept on the same spot all night with my hair up, it would still be completely strait.
Definatly worth the money! I will not go back to those cheap-o brands again!

This straitener is very good as long as you keep it at a lower temp around 150 to 170 for my hair. If i put it higher it makes it smell gross almost burnt. But otherwise it makes my hair strait and silky. Although i dont need as high of a temp as other people because my hair isnt curly, just more wavy at the ends. Good Luck

alot of ppl are comparing it to the CHI but i don't think there is a comparison. i used my friends CHI and it was excelent compared to my 20 dollar one so i decided to get one i saw this one and heard all the good reveiws so i bought it and it works so much better then hers. The CHI does nothing when it comes to humidity...o and if u think it gets to only 200 degrees your wrong, thats in ºC, so it gets to about 410ºF

I bought this flat iron about 3 months ago and really didn't use it due to the fact I cut all of my hair off. My hair grew a lot since then and I've been using it alot more. My hair is completely damanged beyond belief from dying it and bleaching it so much. This by far is the best flat iron I've usesd, and I've used a lot. I turn it up to the highest heat setting (although they say not to), and I dont like my hair has ever been straigher even with humidity my hair doesnt frizz. It makes my hair extremely soft and manageable, I get a lot of compliments from my friends, and I have even used it on them. They love it as well. Everyone that is giving a bad revoew must be doing something wrong, because I have no problems at all. I put a little biosilk in my hair afterwards which makes it even softer. I would recommend this straightner to anyone.

Just recently I went out of the country and my chi straightener short circuited. When i came back, I decided to look at some reviews of other straighteners before purchasing a new one. I decided to go with the Sedu even though I was happy with the chi before it broke. I used my Sedu for the first time last week and was extremely happy with it. It's even better than the chi!! It makes your hair even straighter than the chi and stays that way until your next wash. So for everyone who is deciding between the chi and the sedu, go with the sedu. I couldn't be happier with my choice!
