This is the best purchase I have ever made for myself. I had the "ugly" wave in my hair and my new flat iron takes it right out. I really can't believe how good this product works. I have bought other cheap ones and there is no comparison.

I love this iron! I had the iron that came with my Straight to the Maxx hair straightening solution. The solution was terrible but the iron, I thought, was really good. But it always took me 30 minutes or more to straighten my hair, which is very frizzy and wavy, especially when it's humid. And since I live near the beach in Mississippi, it's humid wayyy more than it isn't! But then I got this iron for Christmas and I'm in shock.... it only takes about 10 minutes to straighten my hair totally, but if I want a quick run through just to take out the frizz, I can do it in 5 minutes! I would definitely recommend this iron!

What a difference in the texture of my hair, as well as the speed in fixing it in the morning! My hair is softer, with NO frizz, and I can curl or straighten it with the Sedu 1" flat iron. It used to take about 45 minutes to curl my hair after drying it. Now I can dry and curl/straighten it in about 20 minutes. The Sedu is really lightweight and easy to manage also, and it heats up in less than a minute. Folica was very easy to order from, and I had my flat iron with in a week of ordering it. Terrific product and website.
Unlike any other hair straightener!

This hair straightener is awsome! It's light weight, heats up VERY fast, straightens really good and it's very easy to clean. My hair is at it's straightest now!

I found it did an excellent job! I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I found it left the hair soft and shiny. It is easy to reach the roots of the hair because it is lightweight and not bulky.
I've been using it instead of my marcel flat iron at least 95% of the time.

A fellow hairstylist recommended this flat iron to me, and I absolutely love it!! My clients always ask for this website so that they can order one for themselves because they are so happy with the results. It makes the hair very shiny without damaging it, and makes it really quick to straighten any kind of hair. I have naturally curly hair and I use it on myself. I am so impressed with how long the straightening lasts...literally days, and even if I am in a humid environment, it doesn't re-curl, it remains straight. Thank you so much!!

I don't usually spend this much money on hair stuff, but I figured it was wise if I'm going to continue straightening my hair as frequently as I do. I'm very happy with this product - quick to straighten, easy to use, no snagging (thank GOD my last one was torture). My hair is similar to Julia Robert's in Pretty Woman - like that thickness and curl - and I used the second to lowest setting with beautiful results. My hair is also rather long, about to the bottom of my shoulder blades, and I had no problem with the 1", so don't worry if you have hair like mine. Oooh... I feel so sleek ;)

Its a good straightner. I have black(African-American) hair and I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair. It definitely works better than the Revlon thing I was using before, but I think the plates are too smooth to really grip my hair the way I want. It straightens my hair, but it doesn't necessarily stay that way for a long period of time. My hair is pretty healthy and bouncy, but it hasn't been that way since I've used the Sedu. It tends to not move so much after I straighten it. I've had it for a month now and I've been thinking I want the Chi instead. Its a good, but not super great.
Frizz and flyaways be gone!!

I have the finest hair imaginable and I have naturally curly hair, that on rainy days (which here in Vancouver is typically 6 out of 7 days of the week)is absolutely out of control!! I prefer to style it straight so before my Sedu I was using a round brush. It wasn't cutting the mustard so I dug deep into my pockets and 'invested' in a Sedu. This was the best chunk of change I have spent on a beauty product EVER!! My usually frizzy and flyaway hair is now under control (and is quite sassy)although on really rainy days some of the wave returns but not in its typical Shirley Temple form. I really like the one inch size because you can get in close to your scalp to straighten as much of the hair as possible. It heats up incredibly fast and I love the length of the cord. I was skeptical on spending the money but I am so glad I did - well worth it!!! And speedy fast delivery too! Thanx Folica!

I was a bit hesitant to try the Sedu because I had spent a lot of money on my Chi flat iron which had broken. I read all the rave reviews and went ahead and ordered the Sedu. Within days I had my new flat iron and have been very pleased with the results. The iron is lightweight, heats up fast and is very effective. You can adjust the heat settings accordingly and best of all there is not the hair breakage that there was with the Chi iron. The Sedu glides over the hair and leaves a smooth and glossy finish. All in all two thumbs up for a remarkable product!

It used 2 take me 1-2 hours 2 straighten my hair now it only takes me 10 minutes! And it stays straight all day even when theres high humidity! Its awesome! I have naturally wavy hair and this straightener is by far the best out of any ive use before! I would definitely recommend this straightener 2 anyone who doesnt want to spend hours straightening their hair and wants it to last all day!

I did extensive research on the internet before buying a hair straightener since I was not satisfied with the conair brand. After using it several time, I must say that this is the best. I have thick wavy hair and my hair gets very straight, smooth and stays until I shampoo next! I highly recommend this product and if you are considering a purchase, please buy it. It is well worth the money and a very good investment. I am very happy with this product.

I really like this Sedu. It takes less than 30 seconds to heat up, and less than 15 minutes to straighten my hair. I straighten it every day. My hair is naturally frizzy and curly/wavy. The Sedu makes it smooth and soft. After I use this straightener, I can easily run a really small toothed comb through my hair--no problem! I Hope this review helps!

I spent a great deal of time searching for the best flat iron and decided on the Sedu based on it's rave reviews. I found that the product did not meet these high expectations. It did cause some snagging especially on my hair ends and I also kept pinching my fingers (at various times) during the smoothing process. One problem is that the Sedu doesn't have any grooves and this causes some pinching after you squeeze the handle together. I don't think that the Sedu flat iron is worth the money and I've decided to send my Sedu back!

this straightener is awesome. I didn't want a chi because all of my friends had their hair fried, but i always liked when people said i had shiny hair. Not only does this straightener keep my hair shiny it works so fast. I have wavy frizy hair and it straightens even my hair in less than 10 minutes. It's a great product!

This was the best thing that has ever happened to my head! I have more comfidence, now that my hair is not a frizzy mess. And it got this way not by magic, but by the sedu! I swear that it's worth the money. Because when you see the pictures, it seems as if it really were magic!
