This is the best flat iron I have ever used. I would recommend it with 10 stars. My daughter who has the thickest hair on earth ends with hair that I could compare to Lisa Ling. I will enjoy this flat iron for years to come.
The matter of delievery time was exceptional and I also enjoy the mat that came with it.
It is just Ok

I was very dissatisfied with the product. I did not notice anything excellent about the sedu. the with is too wide, and the irons did not do any thing special that no other ceramic iron doesn't do. My personal pick would be the 1" Chi Iron. I am a professional hair Stylist, and I will try anything that have to do with hair once. So if you are looking for a good iron pick the CHI IRON.

I have had my 1" Sedu for two weeks now it is the best straightener I have ever had, my hair is very curly and frizzy but just ten minutes with the Sedu and no sign of frizz. My hair seems to stay straight for much longer even in damp weather, and living in the UK we get quite a lot of that. I received my Sedu in only a couple of days after ordering, which is great as some products from the U.S. take a couple of weeks. The free pouch is great no worrying about putting the iron down on furniture etc. If your thinking its just the same as any other straightener dont IT'S THE BEST go ahead and order one you will not be dissapointed.

i used to use the chi flat iron until i dropped it and broke. i then decided to read some reviews about the sedu iron and purchased it. it doesn't work as good as the chi iron. i am dissapointed with the sedu.

Would recommend to anyone that has curly, frizzy hair. It leaves the hair smooth and silky and so far hasn't affected the condition of my hair.

I absolutely love this flat iron. I have naturally wavy and frizzy hair. After wasting money on others, I finally broke down and spent a bit more on this one, and it has been worth every penny. I love it!!

o my gosh! I LOVE IT!! i had a CHI and the plates melted off the first time i used it, so i got a SEDU and it works great!

I received my sedu recently and am very impressed. I am a big skeptic of reviews and advertisements but I have to say that for once I am impressed. What I liked most about it is that my hair was still very straight the next day when I woke up. With other flat irons, the second day my hair would have a slight wave and would need a touch up. Not so with sedu.

I had been using my daughters Chi flat iron and thought about getting myself one. I was reading reviews from other customers on all the flat irons out there and decided on the Sedu. I picked the right one!!! I especially love the adjustable temp.

Hi, I am an African American women. My hair was washed, blowed dryed and flat iron. This iron is wonderful..I would advise everyone to purchase this sedu. I love it!!! My hair is thick, and course. My hair is now manageable without having to really set it. It heats up fast and everything. I'm amazed because my hair looks fresh everyday like I just came from the salon. Some people may be skeptical about paying so much for one hair tool. However, just imagine how much money it will save you from having to go to the salon. It gives a very professional look, and it doesn't dry or break my hair like other curling irons. It is a great investment for me and I will be purchasing another one. I bought the 1" and want the 11/2" now. Oh, Folica was excellent!! I received my sedu in 2 days.

I have been buying straighteners since they started manufacturing them. I began with some of the cheaper versions with minimal success. I moved to a HAI which I liked but it broke down in the first 6 mths. I then bought a CHI, it's pretty good. I still use it, for a back up I decided to get the Sedu. It is by far the best. I still use my CHI but I love the Sedu. I have ultra fine curly hair - not anymore :-)
I got the free pouch mat for it - I luv it too.

I had a hot tools straightener before this and it was horrible, it worked good at first but the coating on the plates would get hot and basically peel or burn off from the heat and then the surface wasnt smooth anymore so it would really damage my hair. This straightener though has nice smooth plates and leaves my hair feeling really soft. When i first used it my hair was really smooth and shiny, since ive been using it i noticed my hairs been a little less smooth with some flyaways which i can fix with product but im sure thats just due to the use and heat damage im getting from using the straightener.. I definately recommend this straightener.

A fantastic buy! Don't miss out on buying this. It will straighten your hair in no time! I loved using the European one while in Europe so much that I just had to buy the American one when returning to the US.

I have medium thick wavy hair and I had tried several other flat irons and found various things not to my liking. The Sedu was recommended by a Folica employee, and I can't believe how fabulous it is. First of all it is very well designed, very ergonomic, easy to hold, heats up in a snap. It moves through my hair smoothly. I absolutely recommend it for hair like mine.

I bought this product for my teenage daughter, and she has been extremely satisfied with it. Her hair is noticeably softer, shinier, and she indicated it styles much quicker!

Im a guy and had always wanted to try longer hairstyles but since my hair gets frizzy Id look like a clown. Tried everything, str8enrs, balms, etc. And I dont have the patience to blow dry, so I stuck w crewcuts. Decided to grow it out a bit and try this thing - WOW its like a magic wand or something, very impressed. My hair is stick straight and without any chemicals. Just make sure your hair is dry before bu use it and u wont be dissapointed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because of its construction. So far so good, but the quality of the plastic its made of and the on/off switch, etc. seems kind of flimsy in my opinion, esp. 4 the price. Get one, its awsome!

I have colored & highlighted, very long, extremely fine and curly hair and have used numerous flat irons. The Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener is by far the best and easiest to use. It heats up or can change temperature in 20 seconds, is very light weight, has a vast temperature range and leaves my hair feeling very silky. Well worth the money.

I have naturally curly hair that will not be straightened by flat irons bought at department or drug stores. The first time I tried the Sedu I was sold and my experience has only gotten better as I have learned how to handle the unit. I love my curly hair but when I want a change it's nice to know the Sedu will give me the desired results. I highly recommend this flat iron.

i really like this SEDU Ionic hair straightener, my hair was done in minutes. Before i have to get up really early to start my hair after shower it takes me about 45 minutes w/ a regular store straightener. but the SEDU Ionic, it was so fast. And the result was really nice.everybody noticed my new hair style. i really liked it.

I bought my Sedu in Aug last year and put off writing a review to gauge the performance. It didnt really cut down my ironing time. Took me 45mins to iron my crown to perfection.Sedu is an excellent tool to have because it works for me untill recently while ironing, there were sparks on the cord! I grew scared and OFF it immediately for fear tat it will catch fire.I am in Singapore and the courier charges applicable to send it back to Folica really burnt a hole in my pocket. (i bought it for SGD251 in local currency and now anther SGD120 just to have it replaced).Perhaps im just one of the unlucky customers to have this happening to me. Ive sent back my SEDU and now waiting for its return. I hope that it wont happened again. Despite the misfortune, i grew dependant on my Sedu.
