Awesome product, you will not regret purchasing...Previously owned a Chi, it stopped working after one year. Very disappointing as it cost 3X as much as the Sedu. I strongly recommend the Sedu. No hair pulling, works fast and easy.

This straightner completely changed the texture of my hair, in the best way possible. When I blow out my shoulder-length hair, it is puffy and frizzy. But after just 30 minutes with the Sedu, I have smooth, sleek hair that lasts for days, even through humidity. Why didn't I get this sooner!? Now I have the best of both worlds, curly hair that holds any style, and with the help of the Sedu, I have the pin-straight, sleek hair I've always dreamed of. I just wish it had an automatic shut-off, I've come home twice now to discover I left it on all day...oops!

I bought the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Flat Iron for my daughter for Christmas. There were so many great reviews about it, so I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. My daughter loves it. She said it heats up very quickly and only takes her a few minutes to straighten her hair now. It also leaves her hair smooth and shiney.

I ordered this and got it within 3 business days. I love the results this flat iron gave. I originally switched because I bought a Conair Infiniti. I was HIGHLY dissatisfied with that product because everytime it would snag my hair. The Sedu hardly snags my hair at all, and it glides down the hair much smoother than other straighteners. The results are fantastic. Virtually no frizz, and no damage. Thanks Folica!

I, like everyone else love this product, but I have had it just over a year and now the power goes on and off as it pleases. I noticed another person with the same problem. So, beware...it does work really well, just not for a really long time. My husband had to solder it, which took away the cord swivel. Sedu should try to fix the design to prevent this, especially since it's a great product. It keeps your hair straight in all weather!
Better than a Chi!

I bought this flat iron because of all the rave reviews that I read and it was definately worth it. My sister has a Chi, so I've tried both. While the Chi is a good iron it doesn't have the smooth plates of the Sedu that stop your hair from being pinched and broken off between the plates. I have thick very curly ethnic hair that is unrelaxed and I get compliments like crazy every time I use my Sedu. I would definately recommend it!!

This is such a great product. It tames my wavy hair even in humid conditions! It heats up in 30 seconds & I can straighten all my hair in as little as 10 minutes. (I have A LOT of hair!!) BIG time saver! My only regret is that I didn't order one sooner!

From what I read, this product got great reviews. So I made the purchase, I thought it was a great deal from folica.com as the price was reduced and you also get the travel pouch/mat free. I bought the 1" flat iron because I have short/medium hair. I am really impressed with this product, it's light in weight and it works really great. It heats up in seconds, and straightens in little time. When I do a portion of my hair, I don't have to redo it over and over, like the conair flat iron that I used, I thought that was good enough, but I always had to redo my hair over and over to get it straight, the way I wanted it. The Sedu flat iron also left my hair looking shiny! and I never got that result with the conair flat iron.
Even though I love this flat iron,I gave it 4 stars, because it gets really hot on the outer part of the plates. So you can't touch it while straightening you hair. I did burn my neck a couple of times, when I first started using it, but now I'm more careful.
Other than that, it's a great product, it works fantastic, you'll get great results, shiny straight hair, and if you don't mind it getting really hot on the outer part, you should get it. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I wanted a decent straightener for christmas. So i was browsing the internet and this straightener seemed to have better reviews than the CHI which most of my friends have.. I got the straightener in about a week. I LOVE IT.. it has a nice smooth ceramic surface which glides on your hair without breaking it. It also heats up pretty fast and is great to curl your hair too. I would recomend this to everyone. I have thick curly/wavy hair. and this straightener makes my hair sliky straight and shinny. i love love love it.

Great ceramic flat iron. Leaves my hair smoother than the Chi. I live in an exremely humid climate, so I feel I've put it to the ultimate test. I've recommended it to my clients that use the Chi. Try it, you'll be pleased.

I really like this flat iron because it runs so smoothly through your hair and makes your hair look healthy-but it is harder to curl your hair with this flat iron than with the chi. I also have gotten some hairspray on it and cannot seem to get it off- even with the Sedu cleaner i bought; so it no longer goes through my hair as smoothly.

Very good flat iron! I had previously used a Wigo...this one is much better! I'd like to buy a 2nd one for a friend, but am waiting for the price to drop...not sure if it ever will ($75). All in all, I really love it...I recommend!

This iron is fantastic. It heats up in seconds and glides through the hair smoothly. Adjustable temperature makes it ideal for all hair types. Would definitely recommend this.

I am no pro and just used a cheapo straightener before, but I really like the Sedu and purchased it after reading these reviews. It heats up quickly and straightens smoothly. I really like the iro holder that I received with it.

My fiance bought this for me as a christmas gift. I had been needing a good flat iron for a long time, but was skeptical about them all after reading the reviews (faulty wiring on this one, snagging on that one...). I've used several other brands before and none of them compare to the Sedu. My hair looks so healthy and shiny and only one pass with this iron and it straightens beautifully. It also flips the ends nicely too. I've cut my styling time in half. I never get snags either like with other irons I've tried. You should try this iron. I highly recommend it.

I caught this item on sale but I was prepared to pay full price. I heard about the Sedu flat irons but I was skeptical. I am thrilled at how well it works. It straightens my hair and leaves it shiny. I am certain that the ceramic plates help my hair stay healthy. I love, love this item. If you can find it on sale for less than $100 buy it! It worth the money but if you can get it minus the expense that is better.
