I am traveling to France and need a 220-240 V flat iron. Any suggestions. I am quite certain that the voltage of this iron is correct, but that I need a differnet plug type (not C). Does anyone know where I can find plug converters and, if so, will this iron work if I find a plug converter? Question posted by alp Sat Jan 19 2008 Submit your answer | Reply by customer service

My 2 daughters used the sedu in both New Zealand (with a plug only - not a transformer)and in France without a plug and they lent it to friends who were travelling to Australia and Prague. They all felt it worked as good at the chi. I am purchasing a second one. | Curly hair.
I have very, very, natural, curly hair. It's not just wavy, it's spiral curls. All natural. I'd like to try it, but I don't want to get it and be disapointed. My striaghtener now is good, but a friend told me that the Sedu was great. Just please let me know. Thanks :] Question posted by Hollie Submit your answer Newzealand???

HI PRIYA,
I have that same question, will this product work in India. I took my sedu (US version) to India and I used it with voltage converter. It literally burned my hair, however this product is the best in the US. I used hot tools with voltage converter and that worked but still not as great as sedu in US. It will be very helpful if anybody took this euro edition to India and tried it there. | can this be used in Rome, Italty?
I will be traveling to Rome. Will this flat iron work there? Do I need any type of convertor? Do I need the two pin or three pin plug? Question posted by Pat Browning Mon Jul 24 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by Ana

For Rome you need flat irons that handle 220-240V, Plug Type C (sedu has 2 models) | Root of the hair, natural hair.
Can you get right to the root of the hair with the Sedu without burning your scalp? I've never actually used a flat iron at all and I've always wondered if this was possible. Also, how well does this product work on african hair (natural, not relaxaed)? Question posted by A Mon Mar 26 2006 Submit your answer Is Euro Edition for Scandinavia
