Use With Other Products?
Does anyone apply a mousse or gel BEFORE applying this product? It seems like people just use this and perhaps hairspray after wards.I have just below the shoulder fine straight hair . . .TIA!

I have never had to use any gel, mousse or hairspray before or after and I have long straight hair. It is wonderful!!!!!!! |
How do I use it on DRY hair?!?!?
I tried using this on my dry hair but it didn't help at all. What am I doing wrong? How could I make it wavey and volumey with this spray on my DRY hair?I can't use it on wet hair because my hair is naturally with tight frizzy curls so I flat iron my hair and then a day later I'd like to use this product to make my hair slightly wavey. So if I used it on my wet hair it wouldn't make it wavy, it would just make my curls stronger. Which I don't want.I tried using this on my dry hair but it didn't help at all. What am I doing wrong? How could I make it wavey and volumey with this spray on my DRY hair?Please help me out here and if you could tell me how, that would be great. Thank you so much!

Is this as good as Beach blonde
I have quite dry, slightly wavy hair - prone to frizz!John frieda Beach blonde sea spray was perfect for myhair, and I haven't found anything so far to match it.If another company comes up with the formula, they'll make lots of women happy and make themselves some money!Is this Sedu sea salt spray similar? I find most I have tried too drying - I hate crunchy hair!!

I can't get it to wrok
I tried this product because I have straight brown hair. I read your reviews and everyone seems to get it to work. What am I doing wrong???

I have thick, stick straight hair. Towel dry when you get out of the shower, shake your hair out (DONT BRUSH or COMB) and then spray this stuff on your hair starting from the tips to the top. I try and keep it away from the top of my head or my natural oils make it too oily too fast. Scrunch with your hands and periodically scrunch throughout the day and it should stay just fine. Lightly mist with a soft hold hair spray. |
How does it work with dark hair?
I am not a blonde, will it effect my natural color?

heavy straight hair
Does this product work well on heavy, straight hair? I always think my hair is thin, but every time I get it cut people say "wow, you have alot of hair!" until someone just said, "...its because your hair is heavy..." alot of the styles I like dont seem to work well in my hair.

Does this product work with VERY thick hair?
I have very thick and a little bit wavy hair. I can't find anyway to control it and if I want to straighten it to make it a little less poofy from thickness it takes up to 2 hours!! I really need to know if this works and if it will control my hair and make it look good in the process?!? Thanks

Oh my Goodness, YES...! I haven't been to this site- so, i hope you receive this response... your hair describes mine... there will be months I will go without this productd... then I absolutely must return to it... my hair is soooo easy with it... it curls it quite a bit- but it is free and 'beachy'- and can easily be dressed up to whatever occasion... with clips- later... not sure how long your hair is- mine is 3/4 down my back and VERY thick- it has always done me well :) best to you- jodi |

My hair is extremely thick and curly... and I use this product daily.
After washing my hair I put John Frieda's Frizz-Ease serum on my hair (extra strength for thick hair) which illiminates the frizz...
And then spritz my hair with the spray... it really define the curls without weighing them down or making my hair feel hard and sticky... |

I use it when my hair is wet or dry. When it is wet, I spray it liberally and scrunch. If I want it really wavy, I use a diffuser on my blowdryer. On dry hair, if it is a little frizzy I just spray it on and scrunch. I really love this stuff and wish that they would put it back in the stores. I am a hairdresser and when I use it in my hair all my clients think I got a perm! It is too cool!! |
