amazing cream - great for tattoos!

I figured I'd write a review for those looking for a great cream to use while healing from a tattoo, as well as those who suffer from skin conditions. I never heard of this cream before, and had gotten a tattoo in the summertime. I was given a little tiny tube of Rex Eme by the tattoo artist as part of my take-home care kit. They said to only use this cream, not just any lotion, while healing. They were right! I've had friends get tattoos as well, and they only used regular hand lotion over their healing skin and ended up scabbing, extremely itchy and taking longer to heal. My tattoo healed in half the time, I only peeled slightly and the skin is in wonderful condition. It helped with the itch too. I went to get more work done by a different place and they never heard of the cream. No pharmacy has either. What a shame because it is the best cream ever! I also used it on other parts of my body being it is now wintertime, and it definitely heals the skin.

This stuff is great for very dry and chapped skin. The only thing I can say is don't put on your face if you have sensitive skin and/or acne. The mineral oil can cause breakouts.

I have extremely dry skin. I have spent a great deal of money over the years to address the problem including prescription stuff from the dermatologist. I apply Rex Eme
daily to my legs and arms right after I shower in the morning. It smells a bit medicinal, a throw-back to the Noxema of my youth, but it is some of the best stuff I have ever used. With regular use My skin has improved. It is noticably softer,less dry and flaky throughout the day.

I'm a nurse in Alaska, the driest of most states. I work with my hands every day. Lots of washing, gloving up and the harsh dry winters leave my hands to the point of severe itching, deep cracks with bleeding, redness, raised skin, and swelling. Someone had this bottle on rehab unit, so I decided to try a little. Well a little goes a long way. I was thoroughly impressed by this product. By the end of my twelve-hour shift, my hands were softer, I had no pain, I could bend my fingers with no problem, some of the swelling went down, the redness went pink, and the menthol made my hands smell nice. I still have a lot of cracks on my hands, but it will take time for them to heal. It may have different effects on each person, but do read the label in case you have certain allergies. I would recommend this to anyone who has similar conditions as I have.
Great for healing acne!

I have moderate adult acne which leaves horrible red marks on my very fair complexion. It often take several weeks for my acne to start to heal and then 8 months or so for the red marks to dissipate. This cream is a miracle! While it does not get rid of my acne, it does reduce new occurences, heal current acne, and reduce my wait time on the red mark fading. My results have typically been very apparent in just a few days. For being a virtually unknown mom and pop product, this is certainly a must have. Forget all those expensive acne treatments. Buy this and you'll never spend money on over the counter acne stuff again - AND you'll be well moisturized.
It actually works.

I spent hundreds of dollars on doctors, specialists, prescription and over the counter creams and I could not find anything to clear up my hands. The were so dry the skin was literaaly peeling off in layers, cracking, bleeding, and absolutely nothing helped, I was in so much pain all the time. A friend gave me a tube of Rex Eme, I read the contents and laughed and said it will never work. I tried it anyway on hands that were red raw and I could feel the difference in hours,I couldn't believe it. It has been nearly two years of almost constant pain in my fingers and now finally some relief. I don't know why this cream worked when others did not, but I know it does work and I would highly recommend it.
