This this terrible! when you try curl your hair the clamp doesnt fall into place and it goes half-on half-off on top of the iron! the straighter is o.k. it straightens pretty well but it tugs at your hair when you staighten it. dont buy this you can find something better...

Horrible Flat Iron

I received this iron as a birthday gift several years ago. I only used it once or twice before one of the plastic hinges broke. Unfortunately, I never used it as a curling iron, so I can't say how that worked. But I did use it as a flat iron, and from what I remember it didn't work all that well. Worst of all, the clamp for the curling iron would pull my hair really bad! Please don't waste your money on this product.

i hate this thing:( it can not straighten, it pulls your hair and hurts. and the flat iron part will not get close enough to do any thing:( it curls OK but it is not worth it!!!

I turned it on at the highest heat and kept it heating up for 5 minutes. I used it and it actually straightened my hair!!!! It is the worst curlig iron i have ever used!!!!

This thing isn't even worth 1 star rating, it is that bad. This was my first straightener, and was not worth $30... at all! It doesn't get hot in "60 seconds". More like five minutes, and even then, it doesn't get hot enough to work on my hair, which is fine, thick, and curly. The little plastic thing that keeps it locked or whatever broke... After straightening my hair with a different iron, I tried the curler on this thing to see if I could at least keep it for that but my hair got caught and it pulled it. Ouch! It doesn't even curl! Save your money and don't buy this product! I'm off to get a Solia soon...
