So i have curly, dry-looking, extremely frizzy hair. (that maybe because i live in north jersey and it was the worst water on earth)my hair's healthy because i dont have split ends and i dont style it and use many products too much. I bought this shampoo and conditioner and it didnt do much except make my hair feel a little softer and smoother. Notice i said it FELT smoother, it didnt look smoother and it didnt do anything with the frizz. i am going to try other products now....

This shampoo is the best ive ever used! There are very few shampoos that leave your hair soft and silky before even using conditioner. For everyone who says this stuff doesnt clean your hair your wrong. The reason your hair feels greasy when you use this shampoo is because it is distributing nourishing oils into your hair but your hair is still being cleaned.

i was not all that happy with this product i used the shampoo and conditioner. I have very curly hair, i straighten and color my hair a lot also. So my hair is in need of a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. But this product left my hair feeling greasy and not clean at all! i would not recommend this product to anyone. It works a couple of times. But even when i left my hair curly it still felt greasy in the same areas.

i absolutly love this product! i washed ad conditioned my hair with this product and then styled it (also with redken products). My hair was left shiny but not oily, very soft and ends were very soft as well. i was able to keep the hairstlye in all night for a wedding and also the very next day for another wedding. i would highly buy this product again

I love this shampoo i started using it a couple of days ago i can tell that my hair is alot heathier and smooth , It also smells great but the downside is that after a day my hair felt dirty.
Good but doesn't keep hair clean very long!

I love Redken products, especially the Smooth Down line, but the only downside to the Smooth Down shampoo and conditioner I've been noticing is that it doesn't keep my hair clean for very long. I have thick frizzy hair that I have to straighten after I shampoo and probably after 2 days, it looks slightly dirty and doesn't feel clean. I think I need to switch shampoo and conditioners again, :(

I love this shampoo but the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't keep my hair clean for very long. I love the smell and the shampoo makes my hair shiny, smoooth and smells yummy with a few fly aways but it seems like after 1 day, my hair doesn't smell and that it starts to feel dirty.

this shampoo rocks! first time i used it, i felt it working when it was in my hair! right when I rinsed it, my hair felt so smooth! I use the conditioner as well, and together i get great smelling hair that is frizz free!=]

This is a lovely shampoo if you have a head full of unruly frizzies, knots and yards of dryness! Your head and hair feels clean and it's a wonderful partner for the smooth down conditioner. I use to use costly Kerastase and this substitute is well worth the money.

I do like this product but it seem to leave my hair kind of dull but that could be because I process so much. I still think it's great though

I used to think that all shampoos were the same, and only conditioners were worth spending extra money on, but this prouduct has changed my mind!!! I have very thick, curly hair and this shampoo, along with the help of my blowdryer and flat iron ('cmon its a shampoo, not a miricle worker!) make my hair straight, shiny, and Beauuttifullll!!!!!!I love it! :)
