Shampoo normally makes my hair dry, this does the exact opposite. Highly Recommended I have naturally curly hair, that is frizzy.I decided I'm gonna give my cheap (unhealhty) drugstore mousse, shampoo and conditioner a rest and try something more expensive, cause the say: You pay for what you get, the more expensive the better.My hairdresser recommended the redken smooth down line.So I bought, the Shampoo, conditioner and detangling cream. Since the line is called smooth down,...thought I might give it a try and see if it really smooths down my frizz. WEll,.....it DIDN'T!!!! My curls turned into even frizzier waves. it just stopped curling the way it usually does. I'm still using it, because I paid allot for it, so I'm using it untill I run out. But If it weren't with major help of my cheap mousse( I wanted to stop using mousse because a day after washing it and using mousse my hair would dry out big time),....I don't think I'd dare step out of the house. I dunno maybe this product is usefull for someone with straight hair, that has a little frizz, and blowdries and flatirons their hair. But this product definitly cant handle the frizz in naturally curly hair! Bottomline: If you have curly frizzy hair, this line wont help tame your frizz!Try a line especially formulated for curls. If you don't have curly hair, maybe you could give Soothdown a try. So i have curly, dry-looking, extremely frizzy hair. (that maybe because i live in north jersey and it was the worst water on earth)my hair's healthy because i dont have split ends and i dont style it and use many products too much. I bought this shampoo and conditioner and it didnt do much except make my hair feel a little softer and smoother. Notice i said it FELT smoother, it didnt look smoother and it didnt do anything with the frizz. i am going to try other products now.... This shampoo is the best ive ever used! There are very few shampoos that leave your hair soft and silky before even using conditioner. For everyone who says this stuff doesnt clean your hair your wrong. The reason your hair feels greasy when you use this shampoo is because it is distributing nourishing oils into your hair but your hair is still being cleaned. i was not all that happy with this product i used the shampoo and conditioner. I have very curly hair, i straighten and color my hair a lot also. So my hair is in need of a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. But this product left my hair feeling greasy and not clean at all! i would not recommend this product to anyone. It works a couple of times.
