This is quickly becoming my new favorite shampoo. I have used All Soft for quite a while, but I find the smell of Real Control a bit less intense and it seems like it may do more to repair damage. Will definitely be buying this in liter size when it's on sale!

So I have incredibly abused/over-bleached hair, I constantly change the color about every 2-3 months. I have Poppy Red(crayon red)& Plum(purple) hair from Punky Colour originally bleached out from black and I have to say that this shampoo keeps it from fading even though color washes out with the semi-permanent dyes..This is the ONLY shampoo that has made any difference in the color not fading..as for the texture of my hair I really can't say it helps tremendously but it doesn't damage it or dry it out,I've been using it for about 8months but I do recommend changing shampoos every once in a while so they will keep working but I always come back to this one because IT WORKS.

This isn't Redken's best, their best has to be the Smooth Down line. The real control made my hair limp and lifeless, the smell is ok, it's more of a candy smell. And after a few days my hair seemed oily and wouldn't style easily. I still have half a bottle left of the shampoo and conditioner, I currently am between using Bumble and Bumble and Frederic Fekkai Protein RX(which I LOVE :))
