This shampoo is GREAT, especially if your hair is lifeless and could use a pick-me-up!! I love this shampoo because its thick and smells yummy. Rinses clean and improves spit ends!
Damaged Hair from Perms or Color?

Redken Extreme Shampoo is for you! I'm a hair stylist and know better, but I overworked my hair and some of it broke off. My hair is much stronger and looks healthier by the consistant use of this shampoo, coupled with Redken's Extreme Conditioner. I have used many shampoo's including after market, just to see if there is something better. There isn't. I no longer perm my hair, but every 5 weeks I have it colored and/or highlighted. This is the best!

this is the only shampoo i used that actually worked to fix my damaged hair. (i highlighted twice, flat ironed everyday. had to cut hair to my sholders. =[ )
i tried everything from alterna to mane and tail from matirx to herbal essence. and this was the shampoo that worked.
i had to wait about a month or so to see the difference but now my hair looks like it never got damaged.
i would reccomend this to anyone.
(make sure you use the whole line its wonderful!)
My Hair came back to life

After the loss of a family member along with using a flat iron everyday, I started to see breakage(stress). I finally went to my hairdresser and in order to get my hair back in shape I had to follow all her suggestions. First, I had to cut all the bad breakage off and there was a lot. Second, I had to use the entire Redken Extreme line plus give a deep protien treatment once a week for 6 weeks. Than and only than after 6 weeks she would decide if I could relax and color my hair. I also made the decision to only use the flat iron after I washed my hair. Being a African American woman we don't wash our hair every day because our hair dries out.
I went back after 6 weeks and my hair was healthy. She told me I only needed to use the line once every two weeks. As I continued to see my hairdresser she told me to cut down to once a month. Now I use the protein line once every two months. When I blow dry and flat iron after washing my hair, I use heat protective products which is very important.
It's a dream coming true

I have played with my hair since I was 16 years old (yeah long time ago). I lost shine, softness and I didn't know anymore if my hair was curly or straigh, wasn't sure about my natural color either so much I died it. Anyway... I did everything that was possible to do with my hair. Result: damage, of course. I was looking for something that could help me to rescue my healthy and shine locks and it happened with this product. It's simple umbelivable how soft and great my hair looks now. I've been using it for a month or so and my hair is healthy again. I am 100% satisfied.

I have had many clients who have fried their hair at home and this product literally brought their hair back to life... It left their hair soft and manageable! I would recommend this product over and over again!
