I gave the rating I did because, for me, it was not a right product. After application my hair had a gummy feel. I use the product when I know i'll be washing my hair the next day.

I usually use a Matrix product - but this gives hair a lot of body. I use it in conjunction with the Organin product and am happy with the combined results.

I know that sounds cheesy, but I have to tell you that I am so impressed with this shampoo that I had to write a review; something I seldom do.
I have thin baby fine hair. This shampoo has thickened my hair so much that I am getting so many compliments on my hair. I have never seen anything like this, and I have tried many hair thickening shampoos like the Nexus. Not only does this work better than Nexus, it is only about $ 6 bucks. Save yourselves some $$$ and listen. Give it a try. The only problem with it, is that it is hard to find on the shelves. Some Walgreens have it, some don't. I've only tried their thickening shampoo not the foam nor the 2 in l shampoo. I absolutely love it. It really does what it says it's going to do.

I did not see anything special about Progaine Volumizing Foam. It didn't hurt my hair but it also didn't give it anything to brag about.

I recently found, that the products I had been using, had been discontinued. With a great deal of skeptisism, I decided to try Progaine. I have been using all three products, Progaine Shampoo, Conditioner and the Volumizing Foam together. And, have been thrilled with the results! My hair has never looked better. I have both very fine and thinning hair but with Progaine it truly looks thick. I had one fear in regard to the foam. When first put in, it feels a bit gritty in your hair. But, it brushes right out when you go to style it. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend these products.

I have been amazed ... due to health issues (including medications) my fine hair has become limp ...and NOTHING NO MATTER WHAT THE COST ... WORKS! I have always used Salon products and I have TRIED EVERYTHING ... I went to so many that others recommended highly ...Bumble and Bumble, plus at least a dozen others and my hair never went beyond limp! As I used a "rogaine type" product I decided to just on a fluke try this product, now I do NOT use the shampoo or conditioner as I use products that keep the "red" (with golden highlights) in my hair and I love them so I did't want to change ... but I have been using PRogain volumizing foam for MONTHS and it works fabulously ... ALL DAY LONG! Now, I admit I set my hair DAILY, yes DAILY on velcro rollers, but I only use the volumizing foam when I shampoo my hair ... and my hair lasts ALL DAY LONG ... LOOKING full and stays in style! I can't believe it for the first time in years MY HAIR LOOKS GREAT! IT is shoulder length and I wear it in a bob. I would recommend this for anyone that has problems with their hair having any, and yes I do mean ANY... body! Our daughter was a cosmetologist, for THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS HAIR SALON AND SPA IN THE SEATTLE (PUGET SOUND) AREA ...and she gave up in trying to figure out what to do with my darn hair ... where she can cut my hair for its best benefit ...SHE EVEN GAVE UP ON A PRODUCT THAT WOULD DO THE JOB WE WANTED FOR MY HAIR. She was very surprised and pleased with the results of this product on my hair. Give it a try. I admit I use a couple handfuls when I apply it to my hair, one to the top and sides and one to the back and ends ... I find that this works better than any root lifter type of product or anything else I have ever tried. It doesn't leave a product feel in my hair ... it looks glorious, my husband (of over 35 years) loves my hair ... and can't believe how great it works! It is a bit hard to find in the stores around here but it is easy ONLINE! Give it a try!
