I've used Paul Mitchell WaxWorks for many years and have been thoroughly pleased with the results. I am a male with short hair and I've found that hairspray or gels make my hair to dry and hard, with flaking throughout the day. WaxWorks has adequate hold, but remains flexible and does not flake or crack. Excellent product!!!
 Good for shine, but little else

I'm usually a fan of Paul Mitchell products, but this one disappointed. I bought Wax Works for $20 hoping to piece out the ends of my hair. Instead, this product made my ends clump together--nothing piecey about it. What I did find was that the wax made everything it touched shine like glass. If you're looking for super-shine (at the risk of weighing your hair down) this is the stuff.
