Well My Friend lent me the Serum and i tried it, when i tried it, it made my hair really greasy then i blow dryed it but then i still had that greasy texture... so i was saying to myself maybe its supposed to do that so that greasy texture lasted with me until i washed my hair.. and for the results it gave me i dont think its all that good. But after a couple of uses it started to work.. so i dont think i recommend this to anyone..

Welll to start off it smells realy good like bubble gum, it does what it says makes blow drying easy way easy gives shine helps with frizz and flyaways but it makes your hair feel not gressey but makes it feel almost sticky and i have thick coarse frizzy dry crazy hair that hasn't ever felted like that so it's good but not if you get carried away with it so i will not repurchase and ps i only used less than a pump so no i wasn't just puttin to much in.

My hair has always been thick and course and in the summer with the humidity it is frizz city.... so I tried going with it and did the curls rock stuff and scrunced and blow dried it and put in product to have it curl... looked good for awhile, but after a few months my hair was fried... it was poufy and out of control... my hairdresser cut it into a medium length bob and used this stuff before she blowdried it and used the flat iron.... I was amazed... my hair was soft and shiny... my hair is so dry I only wash it a few times a week... after I had it done at the salon the next day I was out in the rain and never once over 4 days did it frizz or pouf...stayed straight and smooth.... this product rocks!

I have use this Serum for over two years, and I love it more than any other!! It does what it is supposed to do and it doesn't make my hair greasy and weighed down. Everyone should use this on their hair!

Let me start off by saying that my hair is a mess. Waves that want to be curls, coarse layers that want to be soft, and frizz everywhere. My hair stylist, seeing the trouble I was having straightening my hair with cheap products, recommended this for me. What a difference. My hair is soft, shiny, and ultra-smooth, even when I leave it naturally curly. I find this works best when it has had a chance to soak in overnight, so I often wash my hair in the evenings and apply a pump or two of this while my hair is damp. At first I was discouraged because it is light (don't let that make you think you need a lot) and didn't feel substancial enough for my crazy hair. Never fear, it gets better! By the time my hair is dry, I add about another half pump to smooth any remaining fly-aways. It is a great product, and it protects from heat, too. The price is a little scary, but worth it... I would recommend this for any hair type! I love it more than Biosilk and CHI Silk Infusion.

I blow out my hair every morning and i just picked this up after getting tired of using FrizzEase for years. I was more than impressed. Doesn't feel like i have anything in my hair. not greasy. no frizz at all. love this stuff and will be buying more!

why do people keep thinking its for straighting? nowhere in the bottle does it say its for it! and i doubt it even protects against heat! this does what it claims to smooths,reduces blowdrying time (which i love!) and sooths frizz , i LOVE it! it makes my hair sleek and SHINY and the funny thing is that it almost doesnt even feel like i have SERUM in my hair like my hair seems dry compared to when i appply other serums. it almost feels like skinny serum seeps into my actual hair and fixes it from the inside out. i LOVE it! i do have very thick coarse hair thought and it makes me sad that its actually going pretty fast but i do use it alot, overral i will be running back to the store soon for a backup

I'm so use to hair products not doing what they claim, so I was surprised when this one did. I am Afican American with medium coarse, but chemically relaxed and highlighted shoulder length hair. I had washed my hair within the week but couldn't wait to try the product. So I rinsed my hair so it was damp. The bottle says to use one pump, but I used two. The product made my hair easier to comb through, dried quicker and took care of the frizz and fired problem I usually have after blow drying my hair. I still have to use a hair own, but only lightly. I used the flat iron but did not have to go over the same pieces multiple times like usual, and I did not have the normal frizz or static problems. There is a nice shine, but nothing amazing. My hair is very soft without being weighed down or greasy. I wrap my hair at night, and the curl from the flat iron is still there 2 days later without any heat. My hair looks healthy. Not to mention the nice smell. I also purchased CHI's Keratin Mist spray & the Silk Infusion. Hopefully they will work as amazingly as all the reviews & the sales clerk in Trade Secret says! I would use PM's product for normal use because it does work great and is less expensive. Hopefull all thse product will help stop breakage from heat and promote growth.

This wonderful serum does exactly what it says it will do. It is very concentrated so "a little dab will do ya" plus it feels nice on the skin--no need to rinse your hands.

This product gets such good reviews on every website that I had to try it. It's ok, but my hair always feels like it's not clean when I use it. I read here that girls who use a flat iron really like it. I don't use an iron, so maybe that's why I'm less than impressed.

I have somewhat thick wavy hair and have recently tried to grow my hair after having short hair for years. GOD, it is aweful thing to go through unless you have either curly or straight hair. Super Skinny Serum did not meet my expectations after my cousin raved about it, but it did make my hair more manageable. I still cant get the hang of trying to syle my hair for 30 Plus minutes a day, going back to a shorter do and will still use PM's SSS.

This product is for heat protection and smoothing, not straightening. And it works great for those purposes! It goes in easy, is not sticky or heavy, and makes my hair super shiny. I would recommend it to anyone. I have coarse, wavy hair that needs to be flat ironed often to look good, and I have not noticed any drying of my hair since I've used this product. My cousin lets me straighten her hair, which is thin to medium thickness, and it does not make her hair look greasy. I want to try the CHI heat protectants to see how they work, but this is very good and a little goes a long way, despite the pricey-ness. I have had this stuff for almost a year, straighten my hair about 3 times a week, and I am less than half way through the bottle. My hair is shoulder length and thick, as I said, so this impresses me. I usually go through products faster than this. I highly recommend it.

i love using this product because it makes my hair so soft and silky but its nothing compared to biosilk. its a very good product for the price and i sometimes end up getting this when i dont wanna spend much money because a big bottle of biosilk is pretty expensive. but again it doesnt compare to biosilk but it gets the job done

I was REALLY hoping this product would follow through on its promise of reducing blow drying time- but it didn't do that for me AT ALL. It did make my long, straight, dark brown hair shiny, and did some amount of smoothing, but it's not enough to stand up to Florida's summer humidity. Even after I use a flat-iron I'm still pretty unimpressed.

I heard about all the great things about this serum and I decided to try it. When i applied it and let my hair air dry (at night), it seemed like it had no effect at all. BUT, the next day I was AMAZED. My hair was soft, supple, shiny, and smooth! I have been using this for a long time now and I still have a lot left. I definitely recommend this product. Plus, it smells great; kinda like green apple.

I love this product! It really helps eliminate frizz! It has turned my hair from an unattractive mess to sleek and frizz-free. A lot of people aren't happy with it because they don't understand what it is for. It is to helps smooth and tame frizz. Not to straighten. It even says on the front of the bottle, smoothing. I definitley reccommend it to anyone who wants soft, frizz-free hair.

Not as great as Kenra silkening gloss. I have darker, stright hair and this Paul mitchell stuff did not do a thing it said it would. blowing drying takes just as long and my hair doesn't shine as much as it would without the serum. I don't recommend this serum for people with straight hair, but i do recommend it for curly hair. My friend with curly hair loves it. But i hate it.
Product is suppose to help flat ironed hair, not straighten hair

I've read some people's comments and seen that they have been mislead by being told this product is suppose to straighten hair. This isn't true, the product is suppose to help hair that is straightened with a flat iron or whatever method you use.
My curly hair has more bounce

I know this is supposed to be for straightening hair, but my stylist gave me a sample and I use it on my curly hair and I can actually difuse it without it frizzing up. Seems to seal in moisture. I will definately be buying a larger bottle. If you know someone with curly hair, have them try this.
