No noticiable improvement

I've used PFB vanish for 6 weeks, and I honestly haven't noticed any improvement with ingrown hairs. I bought this product because of the reviews from this website. I used it after my first Brazilian wax, and my ingrown hairs were numerous. I don't know if it was because it was my 1st one, technique of the esthetician, or what. Anyhow, I used this product religiously twice a day, and I continued to get pretty severe ingrowns. It didn't bring the hair closer to the surface, or anything remotely like that. The only thing truly beneficial that I could find about the product was its alcohol content, which kept the area aseptic. I will continue to use it because I still have a lot in the bottle, and like I said, it does have a lot of antiseptic qualities. I've just had my 2nd Brazilian, so we'll see how the product performs this time. Overall, I'm not that impressed.

I am in the Army, so I must shave daily; this product has made a dramatic change in the texture of my skin (face & neck). I have tried countless products that have had NO or little results. Before PFB I often got razor bumps and ingrown hairs, but PFB has nearly "eliminated" those painful/irritating memories.

For years I've had problems with ingrown hairs, some so bad that they turned into boils which I had to have lanced at the doctor's office. I've been using this product for almost 2 years now and have been virtually ingrown hair free. Every now and again I'll get one but it's nothing like before. This is an absolute miracle product!

This product doenst burn like many of the ingrown treatments. It can be used every day. I saw great results from it.

This is the first time I ever purchased a product like this. I went for a bikini wax and the women who was performing the wax informed me that I had a few ingrowns and should try a cream/gel to get those out, so I made this purchase. I used this product for a couple of days and I could see that getting the ingrowns out was much easier. It does make the skin peel a little but you can add a light lotion and it will be fine. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very easy to use and extremely effective.
This product doesn't actually prevent ingrown hairs, just the huge bumps that are associated with them. I have used it in the bikini area after waxing/shaving. Without it, I used to get painful ingrown hairs inside large red, pimples or bumps. I am now a faithful user of this product because it dries out the pores so that what would become a painful pimple instead is like a blackhead you can squeeze out. (Sorry if that's too graphic.)
Leads to the appearance of a very smooth bikini line. You probably will still get some ingrowns but they won't be noticeable at all.
Bumps almost gone!

I started using PFB Vanish a few weeks ago and I have noticed a significant improvement on my arms and the back of my legs. I don't have as many ingrown hairs on the back of my legs and little white pimples on my arms (doesn't that just sound attractive). As long as you use it often (daily, every other day, etc.) then you will continue to see an improvement. It was a product worth purchasing and I will order more when I run out!

it REALLY works!! I've tried bikini zone and at least 3 more other creams, and my bumps never disappeared. I had a couple really big bumps for about 5 months that never disappeared. my boyfriend thought these were warts and that i am filthy with stds. I've used the product for a month, and I've seen a huge improvement. My boyfriend says with a smile that now he can finally believe me these bumps are not genital warts. lol. I still have some marks, but they are improving every single day. The product is REALLY AMAZING. I usually dont write reviews for products I buy, but I am so happy about this one! I can finally go to the beach without being embarrassed of my bumps and ingrows...Thank you!

I never thought that I would find anything to get rid of or prevent ingrown hairs. This stuff actually works. For a while until you get used to it the skin will peel and become dry, but just put on some lotion and it works beautifully. It also is very easy to apply and lasts for a long time. I highly recommend, it is worth the $20.

I used this just as the bottle recommended and noticed a major improvement in razor rash in the bikini zone within about 4 uses. If I forget to apply it, I have bumps again. I will definitely purchase this again.

This seems to work as well as Tend Skin, but does not maintain the ease of application that TS does. Being a roll-on is odd choice to begin with. Add to this the consistency of the product is as thick as hair gel, which leaves a heavy residue on your skin. You'll need to remove the excess, but once done, it works well.

It's the first time I have tried a product for ingrown hairs etc. It seems to slowly shed layers of your skin to aid the hairs in breaking free from the skin. So It works pretty well for ingrown hairs. I put it on 1-2 times a day. As far as I am noticing it isn't helping much with redness, but I have really sensitive, pale skin. I do like the product and would buy the product again. Or maybe just go get the hair permanently lasered away-maybe cheaper and no maintenance in the future!

I've been using this product for a few months and am just about to start on my second bottle. My legs have never been smoother (except when I was a kid!). It works! Try it.

I have very coarse underarm and bikini hair, that always led to a TON of painful ingrown hairs. I used this product for a week prior to getting a bikini wax. I strongly recommend doing the same thing, as it softens and exfoliates the skin and allows for easier hair removal. Don't use it for 24 hours after shaving/getting waxed because the skin is too damaged, but I've used it every day since and it's really worked to let hair regrow without becoming ingrown. It is alcohol based, so it can sting on raw skin (i.e., skin that's been burned from wax or cut from a razor), but the sting is minor and passes quickly. Do note that this product contains an emolient that causes dead skin layers to form and peel, so I recommend using a secondary exfoliating product or loofah to lessen the severity of peeling.
I haven't given this product an "Excellent" rating because I have not used anything else to compare it with, and because there are still a few bumps and ingrowns, but it has really helped so far.

This product works great. The only set back is that it is sticky, so do not rub your face after you apply.

This is fantastic! It really does help prevent and lessen ingrown hairs. I use it after shaving and have noticed a marked decrease in the number of ingrown hairs and redness - especially around the bikini line. I have very sensitive skin and thick curly hair so this product has been a real life-saver.

I was skeptical when I purchased PFB but it really works. I had a couple of deep ingrowns after waxing my bikini area and I did not know what to do. I found PFB on this site and I swear it is like a miracle. I applied it 2 or 3 times a day and jus let it work for a week. I noticed that the skin felt softer but i resisted touching it for a full week. After that I noticed that PFB had actually lifted the hair to just under the surface of the skin, before that I could only see that it was quite deeply imbedded. I gently grbbed it with tweezers and the hair just slid out. I noticed the same thing with other hairs in the area. They were softened to such an extent that they slid out with little resistance. I would reccomend this to anyone with ingrowns or who just wants a skin softener and add that you should apply it at least twice a day. *****And it does not sting on the skin.

This did help reduce rashes from both shaving and waxing. But it was sticky after applying which made it inconvenient to use. Roll-on design was nice, better than the products that require cotton balls. Smell isn't great, but was normal for this type of product.
