Taste bad--will work if used regularly

I've bitten my nails for 20 years and was finally able to quit. I only used this product for a week to prevent the subconscious nail-biting. After a week, I did not even need it anymore because my nails were long enough that I had no desire to bite them.
Bottom line: the stuff works, but you will have to put it on 2-3 times a day. It wears off in about 6 hours.

I bought this item for my daughter who is 9 and chews like crazy on her nails. I bought it with the hopes that it would do the trick, and it did. In only 3 weeks her nails are beautiful. They are longer than mine now and I am jealous. She no longer getting infections around the cuticles.
This product is not effective for serious nail biters

This product was not effective at all for me. I extremely disliked the taste after the first time of tasting it but then I just ignored it and went on biting. The taste is bad but for someone like me that has been biting all their life, it's easy to put up with.

I have a 4 year old who started biting her nails a few months ago. This product has eliminated the biting, but she still picks at her nails by hand and peels them. Not sure how to cure that problem, but the product did perform as expected.
Doesn't taste that bad....

I have always been a nail biter and I want to quit. I bought Orly No Bite a few weeks ago and since then have quit biting my nails. It also works great on my 2 yr old sons thumb nail cause he sucks his thumb. It's just a great product!

This product has helped me to stop biting me nails completely. I used to practically naw on my nails until they would hurt and now its been about a month and I decent looking nails.

Oh, this stuff is nasty, foul-tasting! But it did get me to stop putting my fingernails and cuticles in my mouth.

I still have issues, however, this stuff tastes disgusting. My nails are longer and I am feeling good about the product.

The Orly No Bite polish is disgusting when you taste it, which is a great thing. My nails are already getting so much longer. The only bad side is that you have to put it on every day. The flavor fades and if you forget to put it on, you'll find yourself with your fingers in your mouth.

Orly No Bite greatly helped my 3 year old stop bititng her nails. It also kept her from picking her nose, N added bennefit. I also applyed it to my own finger nails to keep my 10 month old form biting my fingers.

Orly No Bite appears to have stopped our thumbsucker - we cannot be 100% sure she is not sucking her thumb in her sleep, but we haven't caught her. Worst case, it is significantly reduced.

I am only about 3/4 happy with the results of this product, but at no fault of the product.
This worked to keep my 4-1/2 y.o. from biting his nails, he does remember to use his fork when eating, anything. My 2-1/2 y.o. is still puting her fingers in her mouth, but spits profusely, though, she is very stubborn. I would still recommend this product to any one who has a child that puts his/her hand in their mouth, or if an adult has the problem.

This product worked wonders. In less thn three weeks I developeed full, healthy looking (and feeling) finger nails. The taste still haunts me but it sure makes you think before you decide to bite that pestering finger nail again!!!
If you want to quit chewing you nails, buy this product. Great product and company

i bought this product to get my 2 boys from biting their nails, and they still do it, the taste doesn't bother them

I started using this product 19 days ago, and I haven't bitten since! My family and friends are really surprised that I, 23 years old and biting since age 5, finally have fingernails! They're not exactly pretty, but almost.
My habit has really become something that I'm not even aware of... I bite my nails without even thinking about it. This product has stopped that. I KNOW when I start it now, because I can taste it. I could probably put up with the taste if I really wanted to... It's not unbearably horrible, but it's enough to help me stop when nothing else has worked.
