I've been a nail biter all of my life. I bite down to the quick and then start on the cuticles. I often have 10 bloody, red fingers. I bought all the different products I found and the Orly No-Bite works. It stays on through polishing, hand lotions, dish washing, baths, etc. I apply it every day or several times a day when I'm on a binge. It does work for me.

the product totally works! it is a extremly foul taste however but it definately help to stop biting you nails! the only thing is you need apply is quite often it doesn't last as long as anormal nail polish color would. reapply when needed i guess but it works!

I have been biting my fingernails since I was a little boy and I am now 22. I didn't think anything would ever make me stop biting my nails, but No Bite did the trick. I have been using it now for about three weeks and I can tell a huge improvement. I never knew fingernails could be so useful.

We have a 3 year old thumb sucker, and this product is preventing her from si=ucking, although we have to reapply it each day

My nearly four year old has been trying to stop sucking his finger. He does fine until he's sound asleep and then, in goes the finger! I bought this hoping it would remind him not to do it during his sleep. First of all, my first shipment was shattered and messy due to poor packaging. When I finally got it ON his finger, the next morning he woke up with a red, wet, wrinkled finger. He'd been sucking it all night! His opinion..."it tastes GOOD!"

I had a problem with nail-biting, untill one day I decided to do something about it. I went to the local Sally's shop and asked 'what is the best stuff to use if you want to stop biting your nails?" The lady automatically pointed to this stuff. I couldn't be happier!

I have had a compulsive nailbiting addiction since I have been born, and that has been for over twenty-one years. This stuff really works. It tastes so gross that I haven't bitten my nails in weeks and they are longer than they have ever been. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

This stuff is very good (it tastes absolutely awful, which is the point) but I've found that you absolutely have to want to stop in order for you to break the habit.
Make sure to only put one coat on, otherwise it starts to flake off. Also be careful eating with your hands, as the taste will rub off on your food. Definite down side to this, but I stopped biting my nails and haven't gone back! For a lifelong nail biter, this stuff is excellent!

I have found that I must re-apply every day to keep the icky scent fresh enough to notice. It also peels off pretty easily. I have significantly reduced my nail biting however.

Orly no bite has helped me achieve what I haven't been able to do on my own in many, many years. I'm a seasoned nailbiter so as a result I DO have to apply this polish 1-2 times a day to keep the strong taste. It works quite well for me.

We purchased this item for our 3 yr baby who bites her lips. The first time itself, she wiped the orlybite and continued with her biting. This has no affect and did'nt change anything for our baby

I've bitten my nails for 20 years and was finally able to quit. I only used this product for a week to prevent the subconscious nail-biting. After a week, I did not even need it anymore because my nails were long enough that I had no desire to bite them.
Bottom line: the stuff works, but you will have to put it on 2-3 times a day. It wears off in about 6 hours.

I bought this item for my daughter who is 9 and chews like crazy on her nails. I bought it with the hopes that it would do the trick, and it did. In only 3 weeks her nails are beautiful. They are longer than mine now and I am jealous. She no longer getting infections around the cuticles.
This product is not effective for serious nail biters

This product was not effective at all for me. I extremely disliked the taste after the first time of tasting it but then I just ignored it and went on biting. The taste is bad but for someone like me that has been biting all their life, it's easy to put up with.

I have a 4 year old who started biting her nails a few months ago. This product has eliminated the biting, but she still picks at her nails by hand and peels them. Not sure how to cure that problem, but the product did perform as expected.
