When i was a little girl my mom used to put this on my nails and i had long nails but when i moved in with my dad at age 7 i stopped useing it i became a horrrible nail biter and i bite till my nails bleed and ppl used to say my hands were ugly smelly and i looked unconfident because i always put my hand in my mouth when i talked to ppl. i bought this stuff at the age of 20 and it works sooo good. i stopped biting my nails and there beautiful also it makes them strong and grow long!
Is bitter flavour a big NO?

Will work - especially if you are not one for bitter flavours.
Will stay on longer if you are not constantly in water.

I was told about this stuff in the Toddler 411 Book. SO I thought well I'll buy it and try it out. Well it had absolutly no affect on my Daughters nail bitting. Which is unfortunate. I wish I knew something that actually worked!

My daughter will STILL bite, chew-on her nails w/ this stuff caked all over her nails & nail-beds. The shipping for this product was more than the product itself. AND, it took almost TWO full weeks to get here! That's much too long in today's fast-order/fast-send world. NOT worth the investment in this product.

This stuff really works you should so try it! I gave it to my 12 yr. old sister and she stoped!

Bought this item for my daughter who can't seem to stop biting her nails and it worked!! She has nails now and isn't biting them or the skin surrounding them anymore!!

My 4-year old son is an extreme nail biter, causes sore fingers and lots and lots of hangnails. I have used this and it works wonders!

I'm a big time nail biter and this stuff definitely tastes bad but, it doesn't last very long at all. It is very thin and rubs off very quickly. You basically have to apply it everyday to keep it on.

this works alright if you want to apply everyday possiably 2 times a day depending upon how often you wash your hands.otherwise this works alright.

THis product works very well..one of the best things I have ever tried. The taste is horrible...it tastes like nail polish remover, or that purple violet stuff they paint on your throat for strep..anyway it is really bitter and nasty.
My nails have grown, and I will still put my fingers in my mouth and the taste of it makes me wanna get them out realy fast. I honestly recommend this to anyone with a nail biting habit..

I don't know if it's just me but I didn't notice this product to do anything. The taste wasn't that awful to me, but then I'm a really serious biter(24yrs.). I want to quit sooooo bad, but this was not the solution. I do NOT recommend for the serious biters...you know who you are.

wow...this stuff was great ,i have a girl who has bitten her nails now for about 7 years....we have tryed everything....so i saw this online an thought why not worth a shot...by the way she is 11 and very busy child so this stuff did'nt wash off and i tryed it to see how it tasted....it was bad!!!!! i would use it on her two times a day...it worked great (she has nails now)and now that urge is gone too...she has not used it in almost two weeks and she's not bitting anymore...i am happy ,happy ,happy we went out and bought all new nail stuff...she is happy too..i highly recomend to anyone with this nasty habit..thanks

It's definetly bitter, but it chips off really easily. It's a pain. You'd have to put it on several times a day for it to really work.

I tried this product, and many others, Orly No Bite was personally my favorite and the only one that really worked for more than a half an hour. It continued to work into the next day.

I highly recommend this product! The bitter taste helps more as a reminder to stop chewing on your nail. Also, it dries clear and does not flake off, which is really nice especially if you want to paint it over another color.

I had been biting my fingernails for over 18 years. Then, I googled for some kits to help with this problem and Folica's no nail bite kit came up. It worked for me because I was willing to stick with the extremely bitter taste which was a very effective deterrent. My nails grew out and I won't hesitate to recommend this kit to anyone who is really ready to weather the nasty taste of the polish if you tried to put your fingers in your mouth.
